TownePlace Suites Laredo

I have stayed here multiple times for work in Laredo. The staff is pleasant and helpful. I was accidentally injured the last trip and the staff were so helpful! The rooms are superficially nice if not very well thought out. The cabinets are very tall, most of the upper level space is inaccessible without a stepladder, of which none is supplied. The kitchens are poorly equipped as far as cookware and utensils are concerned. The garbage disposal in my room was never wired in.
I’ve reported it several times without results. Cabinet doors and drawers stick. There is little sound insulation. I can hear talking in the hall, the rooms next door, and people walking above. On a previous trip, there was an issue where I was mistakenly personally charged for my room bill (it should have been billed to my agency). It took a lot of time, phone calls and effort to get a refund to my personal card: A MONTH went by before it was posted. Frustrating indeed.
It’s a popular place, being newer in town. The beds and linens are nice. Plenty of pillows and most of the staff are exceptionally nice and helpful.
This would’ve been 2 stars except for the staff.
They’re great.

Noisy hotel. No shower or at least no hot water in winter for the shower. Couldn’t get the temp in the bedroom below 68. Cheap Windows heard every damn pickup truck that roared by and there were many. My advice would be top floor on the opposite side of the road if you try to sleep.

The rooms are nice with the exception of having a weird fish smell in our room. Since we are on the floor that has kitchens in each room there should be some sort of freshener sprays through out the floor and rooms.

We checked in for the weekend this month. I totally recommend it, very nice hotel, very clean and spacious suites, friendly hotel staff. This is one of the best hotel suites we’ve ever stayed in.

Clean rooms, comfy beds, and incredibly helpful staff. They served a free dinner from 6−7pm. Today is was BBQ catered from Rudy’ Country Store. I stay in 2 – 3 hotels a week and this is literally the best hotel experience I’ve had.

Very nice hotel property & amazing amenities! I was impressed with the spacious suite, model décor, comfortable bed, variety of HD TV channels, fitness center & pool area. I travel to Laredo frequently & have stayed at most of the hotels in the area. Moving forward, I’ll be choosing TownePlace Suites as my primary hotel when traveling to Laredo. The gregarious hotel staff is helpful to ensure every guest has a good stay. I look forward to many more stays here!
