Cowboy doctor with an excellent bedside manner. Went in for my first visit and he spent over an hour with me. He diagnosed my wrist and gave me a cortisone shot with some special pain killer in it. BAM I was great again.
The thing I normally hate about going to the doctor is that you’re given an appointment to be there, and they EXPECT you to be there on time or even early. But then they’ll leave you waiting for sometimes hours, as if your degree or lack of a medical degree makes your time less valuable. That was NOT the case here and has never been. I’ve always gotten in within less than 15 minutes of showing up.
I’ve been taking my son to Dr. Keene for years and he has always provided excellent service. He doesn’t try to get you to come back for five visits to milk your insurance. He deals with you right there, like a good country doc with state of the art expertise. We love him.
If you’re looking for a good doc who sets aside time for same day emergencies (because we all have them) and still manages to make time for you, this is a great choice.
