If you can find it, you are in for a real treat! What Massage Points lacks in glamour, it makes up for in spades with actual therapeutic talent. Don’t be put off by the office space/spa décor, heavy accents and the«receptionists». The receptionists are actually the massage therapists themselves and they rotate. While phone skills are not bad(it’s like calling a buddy) it’s not what you’d get from say a more established spa or salon. They are young graduates who have been in business about a year but let me tell you, I’ve had MANY massages and these young upstarts did an AMAZING job and you can’t beat the price! Juanito gave my husband the BEST deep tissue/sports massage he’s ever had. Lots of «pick you up off the table» stretching and DEEP strong focus on problem areas. I had the Filipino guy(forgot his name!) and he was great too. Always asking about pressure and he did unique stretching techniques I’ve never received with a massage before and they were very effective. They talk as much or as little as you like and there was zero weirdness with the draping(for all you experienced massagees out there). We also purchased the sugar foot scrub upgrade for $ 15 and it was fantastic. In the end, we are going back. I’m going to try one of their other 3 masseuses and the reflexology. I also really like the ability to customize my hour however I like in terms of how much time I want spent on specific areas. The only real«con» is that the space is small. The door to the waiting room(which is also the office) opens directly to the 2 massage tables. So when they go out anyone in the waiting room can see in(although you are covered on the table and they do go in and out quickly). Also, the door is a little thin. So you can hear people talking in the waiting area. Although, they seem to schedule to minimize that happening. At any rate, if you are looking for a convenient, solid massage and don’t care much about«glamour», don’t hesitate to book an appointment and try them out!
