One Nine Nine Cleaners

First thing first… The price is not 1.99 (since nov of 2015) But this place is way cheaper then other dry cleaners. This place isn’t fancy but they are more then efficient. The employees aren’t over friendly but my clothes always look great when I get home. Be brought over 60 pieces to this dry cleaner in over the last 6 months with no problems (other then the first time they gave me the wrong clothes, and insisted the clothes were mine… lol). They take cash or checks… No credit cards… So be prepared for that… I’ll definitely be back with my next batch of work clothes …

My husband & I switched from a high end dry cleaner locally to this dry cleaner about 2 years ago. I was initially worried about the level of care our clothes would receive. But, I was more than a little surprised! They have in almost all cases out performed our previous dry cleaner!
In addition, I must speak up for the ladies on the front desk. They are lovely people and have been more than kind to me. I have some difficulty walking and by my third/​fourth trip in to their facility they would run out to take my dry cleaning bags from me so they could carry in and the same on the way out. They return kindness with kindness!

I’ve been here about three times now and I haven’t yet had the experience that the previous reviewer had. But then again, I haven’t been a patron for a year, yet.
I used to go to the $ 1.99 Cleaners on Gulf to Bay but due to the congestion over there, I found coming to this location just made more sense.
I can tell their employees are usually tired or worn but that aside, they haven’t been unfriendly to me. They may manage a weak smile and then go about their business. I don’t take that personally at all.
I will continue to come back since I’ve been happy with their work so far.

Ok, I’m done with this place. After going here for over a year, and feeling like they were doing me a favor by doing my dry cleaning, I’ve had enough.
I dropped off my weekly cleaning of shirts and pants, one shirt had a stain which I asked them to please remove. Upon looking them over once I got home I noticed the stain was removed, but another darker stain was on the shirt in about 2 inches about the one removed! I brought it back and told the very unpleasant cashier to please remove this stain that wasn’t there in the first time. After going back a few days later she produced the shirt (it still had the stain on it) without any explanation. I complained that the stain was still there. She then told me that I must have put it there. I assured her that’s the way I received it. She basically told me I was a liar.
So be forewarned, stay away from this store! I’ll take my $ 100.00+ a month cleaning to another establishment.
