LOVE this new store! The staff are all well trained and ready to improve it even more. There are lots of comfortable chairs, free wiFi, and good music playing. Once construction is complete it will be very busy — so sneak in before this great location becomes overwhelmingly popular.

No compliment paid would do justice to this Starbucks location. Over the last three years I’ve had to travel 30 or more miles a day for work. I pass countless Starbucks along the way, but always end up at store #11252. The baristas, under the leadership of Alex C., are friendly, informative and always helpful without coming off as ditzy, false, or flirty. Drinks are served up with record speed, and short of a mocha frappuccino, they’ll offer to heat up anything you purchase. I’ve never had to wait long for a beverage, always get a warm welcome, and only once, in maybe 300+ orders, have they made a mistake(in my case I received a ‘grande’ instead of a ‘venti’). Seriously, if you’re near Starkey/Ulmerton, stop by and check them out.

I don’t usually review big chains since everyone is familiar with it already, but I really liked the barista here so I needed to share. I believe his name was Alex. My LivingSocial Starbucks eGiftcard was expiring, so I HAD to use it. I don’t really know why I even bought it since I’m not a coffee drinker. I’m just a sucker for deals. Anyway, I was taking my time deciding, but he didn’t mind. He offered his help, so I explained my thought process. «I don’t want coffee, so I’m thinking a creamer, but I don’t know what flavor. Which ones taste better as creamers?» He was ready with a list to rattle off, along with his own opinions on them. Made my choice easier. My gift card only had $ 2 left on it. My boyfriend’s gift card also only had $ 2 on it. So when we were about to throw his away, Alex gave us a tip to save it. If we register it online, add $ 5, Starbucks gives us another $ 5 for free. Sweet!(Again, I’m a sucker for deals.)

This Starbucks is not a great location if you come with someone else(or more). There are only about 4 tables inside and they are all pretty small. There are a couple tables outside, but in the summer, who wants to sit outside! There are only a couple of big chairs that you can lounge at in the front. However, even though there are not many tables, I have never had a problem getting one(although a couple times I snagged the last one). There is even a bar that you can sit at and watch the baristas make the coffee(which I find a little creepy, but would be great if you’re friends with the baristas and feel like sitting and chatting). The baristas are really friendly. No matter who is working here, I always hear them chatting and laughing. They are pretty quick too. Since this is a small Starbucks there never seems to be a long line. What is kind of funny is that parking here is the easiest, since it shares a lot with Publix and a few other stores. We need to switch this parking lot with some of the busier Starbucks locations! There is no drive through at this Starbucks.

I had a gift card and a free drink for my Bday and decided to grab a bag of coffee. The cashier was extremely helpful in suggesting a bag, gave me a dollar off, and hooked up the iced coffee. Both baristas were really friendly.
