Been here a couple times and I gotta say, this place has the freshest sushi I’ve had. The staff is very polite and attentive. Their noodle selection is quite remarkable and everything tastes delicious. Would recommend this place to everyone that’s a fan of sushi or wants to try it for the first time.

Top notch sushi! Super service and a great atmosphere! Everything is so fresh and delicious. Make sure to get the crab Rangoon, not like your normal cookie cutter Chinese restaurant, these ones are handmade and fresh. Will come back again! Awesome!

We got takeout from here once before this experience and everything was good, except that they drenched my roll in spicy mayo when I asked for no mayo. They were very courteous and refunded me for that, also offering me something like a discount the next time I came in. We got shrimp tempura and grouper tempura. I was disappointed about the roll but the food was good.
This time I ordered the John Roll– tuna, krab stick, tobiko, cucumber, and avocado with salmon on top. Got yellowtail with cucumber, a little seaweed salad, and salmon on top. I didn’t eat it so I can’t say if it was good anyway. I called in and they asked me to come back in with it, but when I said I couldn’t come back out there they offered me a credit for next time.
I will update this with more stars if it’s better the next time but either way it’s disappointing that the first two times I’ve tried the place there have been issues.

One if the best cucumber rolls I’ve ever had. This tasty lollipop cucumber roll with Tuna, Salmon, white fish, sweet egg, spinach, carrots, pickled radish, avocado is awesome

Soooo good! It’s been at this location for awhile & does a great business. Really cool atmosphere and really friendly people working there. Tuna Avocado salad and the noodles dishes are the best! Everything looks good when they bring it out though :)

Service was fast and the food was excellent! We will be coming here more often. The Ramen is delicious, although the broth isn’t as salty as previous reviews have led me to believe. The Red Dragon roll is a must, and the crab rangoon is out of this world!!! Come here and you will not be disappointed.

I went here with a friend last night and I thought the sushi was great. It helped that they had the sweet potato tempura roll as a lot of sushi places I’ve been to lately don’t. Also, the sushi portions are generous as the rolls are pretty big. We ended up splitting the fried ice cream for dessert which I highly recommend.

eh, the sushi is nothing to rave about. Maybe I’m spoiled by the place I usually go to. So many of my friends enjoy this place and I had high-expectations until I tried it. The sushi wasn’t that flavorful and didn’t seem fresh. I’ve given this place a shot 3 times and it’s been the same each time. It’s mediocre sushi at average pricing.

I may be the odd man out here but I was not impressed. The sushi is usually really good but today it was just… myeh. Maybe it was because it was so busy but it just wasn’t as good as usual. The service was poor. I asked the waitress if they had Mountain Dew and she acted like she had never heard of such a thing, finally just asked for a coke and she brought me out a can of that. She was not very attentive and never came back to check on us after the food was delivered. We had to find her to ask for forks for the kids, apparently she thought kids ages 2, 4 and 5 could eat their rice and chicken with chop sticks lol The chicken teriyaki reminded me of a frozen dinner, not bad but nothing to write home about. The pad thai was decent but I probably wouldn’t order it if I went back. again-nothing to write home about. Overall this place was just average.

Osakas sister? Competition ! This was to die for. Sushi chefs at exquisite. Beautiful presentation and everything was incredibly fresh. Went w a local friend and my husband. Will be craving this til my return home again!!!

All I can say is WOW. Very pleasant surprise.
Service was quick and friendly.
Ordered Rainbow roll which was very good. Fresh and great portion.
Salad and Mizo soup was also very good but the star was the entre.
Ordered Ton-Kutzu which is fried pork. This is always a gamble as breading can be soggy and pork overcooked, tuff, and almost black.
This was not the case here. Breading was amazingly crispy and not greasy, and the pork was perfectly cooked, tender, juicy, and flavorful. To make it even better is the portion was huge. Absolutely awesome.
The only reason why it’s not a 5 star was the rice. It was very blend (fried rice). Also not a fan of sauce that came with pork but since it was on the side, and pork was so good on its own, it wasn’t needed.
Will definitely be back.

A solid 5 stars! I got my sushi togo so I didn’t really check out the inside of the restaurant. But the sushi spoke for itself and I’m rating it off of that alone. Besides being a little pricy, this was the best sushi I’ve had in a lonnnnng time! I will pay it every time if they keep up that quality of food! The sexy man roll is absolutely wonderful!!!

Was in Largo and in the mood for Sushi. Checked on Unilocal and this place had good reviews and was not far from where I was. It’s tucked in the corner of an unassuming strip mall. Kinda dark inside but that was OK. They used those plastic seats which I hate (like in a school cafeteria), décor was so so, Large TV showing the history channel and 80’s-90’s pop music playing in the background.
Now for the Sushi. It was very good. I tried the sexy man and it was delicious. I also ordered the Tuna Lover, this one is not on the menu so you have to ask for it. The roll is awesome, one of the best ones I have had in a long time and it is huge. It’s basically chunks of tuna wrapped in tuna with some special sauce and fish roe and nori. I could not finish the normal two rolls I usually get because these were big with mostly fish and not much rice. They way I like it!
This is a great sushi place if you are in the Largo area. I will come back.

I’ve been having trouble finding good sushi within easy driving distance. This may very well be my local spot when I need a sushi fix.
I came around 11:30 to beat the lunch crowd, the place was fairly empty and I had no issues with the service. It has a cute little décor going for it.
I had to try the sexy man rolls based on the prior reviews. Made with tuna and avacado, topped with bbq eel, tempura, sexy man sauce and fish eggs. They lived up to the hype and there was not a sexy man left standing when I finished.
I ordered some other platter of sushi that I can not recall the name of, it had several different rolls but the highlight of it was the sweet potato rolls. The soup and salad that came with it were perfectly acceptable as well.
I had a good experience, and I would definitely come back.

I’ve eaten at The Sushi Spot several times for lunch and it has been good each time. The sushi menu is quite extensive, but can also be a bit expensive. I’ve had a variety of rolls, from the quite simple Spicy Salmon (fresh salmon, carrot, spinach, crunch, spicy mayo) to the more complicated Sexy Suzie (spicy octopus, conch, crab stick, crawfish, smelt roe, crunch, carrot, cucumber, tempura topped with spicy mayo sauce, wasabi sauce, eel sauce and fish eggs) and Sexy Man (tuna and avocado topped with bbq eel tempura, sexy man sauce and fish eggs) rolls, and they’re all delish!
The Sushi Spot not only serves sushi, it also serves Thai food and a variety of noodle dishes. I’ve not had either, but I’ve seen customers at other tables order them. Wish I had the stomach room for a 2^nd dish. I doubt if I’ll ever try anything else because every time I go here all I want to eat is sushi.

So I stumbled upon this place while doing a Unilocal!search for things to eat in my immediate area where I work and decided to give it a try. The inside is nice, they had this little private booths where you could get a group of friends together to share a meal. My husband and I ordered the sexy woman roll, Ramen gyoza, and soba noodle soups. Sushi roll was very good! I don’t know what their «special sauce» was but it was yum! The noodle dishes were ok. We were expecting authentic type ramen dishes and it was not what we had in mind.
Our waitress was friendly and helped us with info from menu when we had questions. They looked like they had a little karaōke/bar area to the left of the restaurant also, not sure if it’s utilized or not… but that would be fun to have a sushi/karaōke night out with friends!

We stopped by for some noodle soup. The restaurant is hidden away in the elbow of the Publix strip center at Belcher and East Bay. We’ve never ordered sushi here but for the cost of one sushi roll you can get a wonderful, filling bowl of noodle soup.
I ordered the Ramen Gyoza soup and my partner ordered the Soba Noodle soup. The Ramen soup has a rich broth with cabbage, broccoli, scallions, carrots, seaweed and eight pan-fried pork dumplings with lots of ramen noodles. It was little salty but great. The Soba soup comes with essentially the same basic ingredients and substitutes an egg and shrimp tempura for the dumplings. It was also very good.
We’ve had other Japanese dishes here but the noodle soups are the standout! Give it try.
