Love this park! There’s a nice playground, walking trail, lots of grass to kick a ball around, and more!

Nice enough park. The surroundings are great but dogs have to stay on leashes except in the designated dog area. Dog area is small but clean(woodchips not grass). My only question is does anyone ever use the dog area? Been here a couple times and have yet to run into another dog in the dog area. We end up just walking around the park(leash on) watching cricket or soccer(or the drunken kickball game).

My continuing adventures of driving an EV… Marin has so many gorgeous places to get outside & get some exercise. As it just so happens, Marin also has a really good proliferation EV charging stations. That’s how I found Piper Park. Out & about looking for a new place to go for a run, I saw on the Chargepoint app that they have a couple free charging stations at Piper Park. Checking it out, I quickly found the EV charging stations near the park’s restrooms. Once the car was plugged in & charging, I ran off to explore the nearby trails. I found a scenic 3.5 mile loop along & around Tamalpais Creek. All the while with the hulking beauty of Mt. Tam looming in the background. All the while with my car recharging as I was out getting some cardio. Driving for free & staying healthy, so goes my continuing adventures of driving an EV.

Another gated community in Marin — my puppy likes this place. I’ve been a few times, and my only major gripe is that there are very few dogs here –if any. If you need a gated area to throw a ball around with an anti-social pup — this place is for you. If you’re looking for a «dog park» this isn’t really it. Rather, it’s a designated dog area. What I like: (1)There is a separate area for small dogs, so the big dogs can do their thang (2) mad mad tennis balls (3) Water bowl and spigot for those of us who don’t carry water bottles (4) Shady area for my pup to catch her breath What I don’t like: (1) so much dirt — I prefer bark or grass at dog parks (2) not enough dogs — I prefer dogs at dog parks Bottom line: check it out for yourself but be prepared to interact with your doggy and get dusty together. If your dog likes real dog parks, then keep driving.

i grew up in Marin and had no idea this place existed! my dear friend celebrated her birthday here not too long ago and what a great pick… enough space for the adults to linger around the keg and tons of space for the kids to run around and burn off the sugar high they got from all the birthday treats. we hung a piñata from a tree, the kids played volleyball and the grown-ups ate food from the grill and drank. parking was plentiful and the weather was perfect.

My dog loves the dog park at Piper Park. He’s a tennis ball fanatic and the dog park has lots of them to play with. Nice fenced in areas, one for little dogs and one for big dogs. Oh, the rest of the park? Cool community garden, tennis courts, empty lot where the police station used to be, cricket pitch, ball fields, playground, picnic area and walking path. It’s very cool…

Came here today to do some for a client. Great park for picnic, bbq, and sports. This was a father’s day soccer tournament/fund raiser for a local nonprofit and I Grillaxed for about 125 kids and adults. The setting was perfect for this event as there were many kids under the age of 7 and the soccer field was adjacent to the kids playground and bbq picnic area. Piper park also offers nice sand volley ball courts, tennis courts, softball fields, up dated playgrounds and large group picnic areas. Parking was ample and the weather is usually nice. Come check out Piper park!

great place for a casual marin bbq or picnic. my company has done several annual summer picnics here, and several of the sites can easily hold 100 people or more. its a great location for children, as there’s a play structure, lots of grass, and some tiny tiny rolling hills(grass) for them to run around on. overall a great place whether in a large group or a small group, for a picnic/bbq when you don’t want massive crowds(like in SF chrissy field). as a plus, the parking lot is fairly sizeable for 50+ cars
