I love this store!
I dropped in today to pick up some items and Mayorga was so helpful and courteous. She introduced me to some new skin and hair care products which I look forward to using.
I really appreciate when stores offer samples so you can try before you buy and she did not disappoint.
They carry Oribe hair products along with Malin and Goetz, Diptyque, Kevin Aucoin, Eve Lom, Nars, etc.
Cannot wait to return.

I want to start by saying, I created a Unilocal account just to leave this review.
I have just experienced the worst customer service I can ever recall. I came to the Larkspur location today (³⁄₁₂) to make a return of an item I purchased online. This is the closest location to me (1hr away from my home). When I arrived at 2:05pm the door was locked and there was a sign that read «Be back in 5 minutes»… So I waited outside in pouring rain… For 25min. When the saleswoman (Christina) finally arrived I informed her that I would like to make a return, she asked if it was an online purchase, I said yes, & she said she couldn’t return online items. I let her know that I thought that was crazy. Was I annoyed that I couldn’t return the item right then? Sure — but I was more annoyed that I had to wait outside in the rain for 25min to receive that information. As I was walking out, I mentioned that the store should hire another person so you don’t leave customers standing in the rain for 25min waiting while lunch breaks are taken. Christina responded in the most smug condescending tone saying «the other person called in sick and to take a break to, you know, go to the bathroom and eat some lunch.» To which I responded, «next time maybe consider putting up a sign that says back in 30min, instead of back in 5, so people aren’t standing around thinking you’re going to be back any minute.» She glared for a second and just said «ok.» I then left. I took 3 steps out the door and came back to get her name. I let her know that this was THE worst retail/​customer service experience I’ve had and I would not be bringing my business to SpaceNK anymore. She briefly glared again, and with a condescending tone, said «sorry.»
I would like to emphasize that I am not basing my experience on the fact that I couldn’t return an online item in store, although I think it’s an absurd way to do business. I am basing my experience on, and taking my business elsewhere because of the attitude of the saleswoman.
If this were my business (and I wanted it to make money), I would start by hiring people that can grasp what customer service really means. Anyone can sell makeup. Not everyone can make you want to continue to bring your business back.

I like this small shop full of mostly upscale beauty products. The people are nice, knowledgeable and helpful and I continue to buy several things there. So what’s not to like? In my experience over the last year or so, every time I left my number for them to call me about locating a product or other issue, I’ve had to call them, drop by etc and follow up endlessly to resolve whatever the issue was. And once someone called me many weeks after the question was resolved, to let me know the product was in. I expect great service from a place like this and on that side of things it has been consistently bad/​missing altogether. I would also like to see a bigger selection of non-​toxic products but I can get them elsewhere. Whether you’re looking to jazz up your makeup/​skincare routine or buy a special gift for someone in your life– Space NK has got your back! The team is incredibly helpful and they carry an absolutely amazing selection of products. My good friend Rebecca introduced me to the store a couple of months ago and it was love at first sight. I’m relatively low maintenance when it comes to my beauty routine, but the ladies at Space NK convinced me to get outside of my comfort zone and try new products.
I was in the store yesterday and Emily helped me pick out some new makeup for the holidays. I love my sheer Lipstick Queen lipstick and lipgloss pen by Nudestix. The colors are fantastic and Emily was incredibly helpful in her recommendations. I had never heard of Nudestix before and now I’m obsessed! I can’t wait to purchase more of their products.
If you’re looking to purchase a gift for someone the team at Space NK is incredibly helpful. They have lovely gift sets, candles, bath salts, etc. You really can’t go wrong with any of their products. I was also given a bunch of samples to test out and so far I really like the REN vita nourishing mineral cream. I may have to return soon to buy the full size!

My visit to this store was truly a pleasant experience! The manager is professional, knowledgeable and made me feel welcome. A well thought out and edited collection of products.

This is hands down the best place to come for beauty! Not only do the nicest ladies in the world work here, they actually care about your experience and finding the product that suites your needs and budget. They are truly so good at what they do. I feel like a kid in a candy shop each time I come in and they always make me feel welcome. You must visit this location to experience the most excellent service.
My skin was incredibly dry post pregnancy. Anna June tried everything and never gave up until my skin was glowing and healthy! She’s the best!

There are not enough words to describe my obsession with Space. NK at Marin Country Mart! Not only do they LITERALLY have the best edit of skin care and beauty products in the SF area, but their team is incredible!
Ana June, the manager always makes you feel welcome. She knows everyone by name and knows exactly what I need each and every time! Her team is great — I’m sure I’m spelling her name wrong, but if you want a stellar makeover, Iowana is your girl.

The new Space NK, aka Space.NK.apothecary, just opened in Larkspur. I really like their spot at the Bloomingdales in San Francisco, which has great service by the way, but glad they have a stand alone shop now in the North Bay. Easy parking and better weather. They carry a limited, but well edited selection of brands. You can shop for cosmetics, skincare, fragrances, and gifts in a comfortable boutique atmosphere.
