The line is a huge deterrent. We can’t seem to ever spare the 45 mo wait for something sold at the grocery store.

Underwhelmed is a word I think I am going to use for this review although they use only the freshest local ingredients. Perhaps I am feeling this way because just two weeks prior I was orgasmically happy with the unique flavor profiles of an already mentioned ice cream parlor in Portland, OR. They did have some good flavors but I went for the mint chip and it hit the right spot for sure. I kinda wish though they’d venture out a bit. Overall a good little ice cream shop!

Helpful employees giving free samples and friendly advice on what to get made my 6÷12÷14 visit quite happy. I had never been to the Marin Country Mart and to find that this yummy ice-cream company had a ice-cream shoppe made me smile. I normally buy their strawberry pints at my local grocery stores in Seattle. They had a tart lemon cookie and a spice laden dad’s cardamon ice-creams that were great as my selected scoops for their«the crunchy» sundae. The crunchy is composed of «2 scoops of ice cream, granola, raw cashews and cacao nibs, chocolate sauce and whipped cream.» Because they ran out of whipped cream I was given choice of any other desired topping. I asked for caramel sauce. Sooo good!

Great ice cream can’t say much more than that. Nice Larkspur location and the staff was very friendly and not pretentious like some places there, if you know what I mean.

Three Twins is my favorite«chain» ice cream shop and I was really happy to see that they have a location in Larkspur, which is a stone’s throw away from San Rafael. The size of the shop is very modest, and the employees are patient and very friendly as well as knowledgeable about their products. I ordered a small size of the Land of Milk and Honey and the Sea Salt Caramel while my boyfriend ordered a small size as well. The Sea Salt Caramel flavor is my favorite salted caramel flavor ever and the Land of Milk and Honey is equally delicious. The total for 2 smalls is $ 7, which is very reasonably priced. 4 stars because for some reason, the texture of the ice cream was softer than normal.

I really like Three Twins Ice Cream, but… not here. 1. When we went, there were two very inexperienced looking young people(one a teenager, one. maybe even younger?) working here. They seemed to need a bit more guidance/management… Or, better yet, they needed team-work. 2. We had to wait a bit since they had run out of spoons and napkins at the same time. This leads back to my point about needing more team-work, since one person was standing at the cashier, the other was expected to scoop everyone’s ice cream AND get the extra napkins/spoons from the back of the store. Shouldn’t they be a bit more on top of that, or work together better? 3. The ice cream was already melting in the display case. and yet they were still serving it as if nothing was out of the ordinary. My ice cream was so soft, and all over my hands/cone even while I was paying for it.

Tasty ice cream? Check! Unique flavors? Check! If you’ve sampled/purchased Three Twins Ice Cream from your local Whole Foods, then you’ve gotta stop by one of their locations to try some ice cream. My husband and I had Three Twins Lemon Cookie ice cream on our honeymoon last year in Napa, so on our one year anniversary trip my lovely guy made sure that we tried some more of the delicious ice cream! I stuck to Lemon Cookie and it was just as good as I remembered. If you’re in the mood for a tasty, organic, cold treat… come here!
