Came here based on Unilocal!Reviews. Smells great inside, delicious smell of pastry. Server was very warm and friendly. She was the only one attending to 4 tables. She was a bit slow as could be understood but had such a winning personality that it did not matter. The other guests were all 60s+ and appear to be habitues. I read that the owner and wife lost everything in New Orleans after Katrina and relocated here. I saw them, he was putting out pastries. She was fixing the chalkboard with the daily specials in front. Based on the interaction I saw they appear to be very nice and good people. They need to spend some time(alot) cleaning. I noticed dirt around the AC ducts on the ceiling and that the light fixtures on the ceiling fan had dirt in them. Floor was also dirty, for that matter the place is actually generally dirty, vinyl table clothes are dirty especially around the ends that droop down. I noticed all of this because it took so long to get our food. Plus the bright sunlight coming through made the dirt so visible. Considering the place closes early, some time should be dedicated to this each day so it does not pile up. The reason i gave a full 5 stars is because the food was good and so is the hospitality. Will definitely come back.

Excellent breakfast today, our first time there. Exactly what LC needs: somewhere to get breakfast that offers a breakfast more than just eggs& bacon or chorizo & eggs. Good coffee, good service. The eggs Benedict was great. Go early, at 9:00 the place filled up. Take some pastries for later, they’re excellent.

I’ve been here multiple times and I’ve enjoyed it every time. I seen a bunch of complaints about the service but this has not been an issue. I typically order the special for the day which is usually some sort of omelette and they are always well done. The best thing about this place is their pastries and fresh breads. I enjoyed the blueberry tart the most. Great place for brunch. Highly recommend it

I order my birthday cake here every year and absolutely love them(he really makes the best European cakes…). Normally, this would be a five star review, but this year they put sprinkles on the outside of the cake! Chalky, waxy, flavorless sprinkles :(Usually there’s coconut(which is amazing), I don’t know why they decided to put nasty sprinkles on an elegant French cake full of fantastic made from scratch deliciousness…

Fantastic baked desserts. This is the best bakery you will find in Las Cruces. Over the years we have ordered many cakes from this restaurant. They have all been very high quality in presentation and taste.

You may be in Las Cruces NM but when you’re eating at Le Rendezvous you can close your eyes and be transported directly to heaven! My meal was delicious, and while I was thoroughly enjoying my lunch choice I was simultaneously envious of my friend’s choice. The portions are American sized so don’t hesitate to bring the big eaters in your life, however do save room for dessert! Their pastries were in a word, delectable! The only thing I find a bit frustrating is their hours, but I guess moderation is key.

Delicious food and great atmosphere along with super service! I had the french dip sandwich and salad. It’s a little different where the au jous is almost a gravy… really tasty! My wife has the soup and salad… the raspberry vinegarette was very good. Another great dining experience.

Walked in the door and we were immediately greeted by the staff from behind the counter and asked to seat ourselves. Being new to Cruces and self-proclaimed ‘Foodies’, we have been in search of truly GOOD food and we FINALLY found it here! Hands down the BEST meal we’ve had in Cruces! We both had the Moules Frite(mussels in white wine sauce). Mussels aren’t something I would usually order, but upon the recommendation of a friend in Culinary school, I thought I would take the chance and order them here. SOHAPPY I DID! The mussels were tender and creamy and the sauce was light & delicious with notes of lemon, butter, wine, shallot and parsley. A perfect sauce to compliment the mussels. The Pomme Frite were served steaming hot. Portion sizes are HUGE for the price! We each took half home for dinner. This meal was a true delight for the tastebuds! Service was great! We never had less than a ½ glass of iced tea and our server, despite being very busy, was attentive and friendly. PLEASENOTE. they do NOT respond to Facebook messaging. If you have a question, it’s best to contact them by phone. I thought about dropping my Review to 3-stars because Customer Service is IMPORTANT and their lack of responding is disappointing. especially when you are in the Customer Service industry. But since the food is good, I’m going to leave it at 5-stars. Good food… Bad Communication. :(

I’ve been here quite a few times and the food has been good. Unfortunately, the service is consistently terrible. Long wait to be seated or even acknowledged. Even longer wait for drinks and food. Very disappointing.

I would have given it this place four stars but I have NEVER gotten good/prompt service. Today we waited for five minutes and didn’t even get acknowledged. We expected our service would be just as bad so we left.

This restaurant is a must try! The food is excellent and consistent. We go on vk twice a year and it is by far the best restaurant in Las cruses, my husband is a chef and we both agree so does our kids.

I have gone there a few times and each time I go the food is cooked to perfection the deserts are to die for. The service is amazing. I strongly advise going there whenever you can:)

Had the Wild Salmon Sandwich with the French Onion soup. Enjoyed everything. Got full with half the sandwich. The French roll bread is delicious and I could have ate it alone. The have an assortment of pastries to chose from. They can benefit hiring more staff; however, overall good experience.

Great food. Generous servings. Good service. Amazing pastry selection. Cheeses teak tasted great. If you have the French dip, get fries to enjoy with the au jous.

Your new waitress is a fucking idiot. She fucks up and then acts as if you are too demanding! Won’t be back until she gets her shit together!

Over crowded! Severely understaffed! Took 20 minutes to get our drink order! 45 minutes to order or food! It’s lunch time on Friday but no excuse for one waitress for 20 tables. Retarded.

This place is delicious! It’s in an unassuming strip mall and they’re not open for dinner, but I really love going for lunch on the weekend. The vegetarian sandwich is really good, as is the French onion soup. I also always get a dessert– the pastries are the best around! The only thing that’s annoying is that they don’t have a fountain soda machine and their canned soda is overpriced, but I can sacrifice that for a great meal anytime.

Excellent menu but terrible execution. The pastries looked lovely and we enjoyed the apricot croissant. However, the baguette was soft, the butter and jam packaged and the coffee weak and tasteless. Worse yet was the service-or lack of it. I would only go back to buy pastries at the counter.

This has been a favorite of my family in the past. The service was great, but unfortunately it stopped there. The last few visits have been progressively worse as the taste of the food has progressively decreased. We ordered lunch and took home pastries.(as we always do) May daughters breakfast burrito was the best. The Pâté plate, and my French Dip(covered in gravy as opposed to a side of Au Jus) left a lot to be desired. We wrote it off as the specialty is pastries. The pastries didn’t taste right either. My wife who orders Tiramisu every time, for the first in our 15 yearsdidn’t finish it, and threw it way. She said it was stale, dry and not fresh. I will add that the breads and croissants where phenomenal as always. For a $ 70 lunch(including tip) we were disappointed. This will be our final visit. Sadly
