Excellent local deli. Right near a Jimmy John’s but this place is far superior! The Hot Santa Fe was really good with fresh ingredients. Friendly service too! Pre-order if getting lunch to go as they get busy.

The food is pretty darn tasty, but the service is inconsistent and half the time they’re out of the meat or toppings that I want for my sandwich. The primary reason for 3 stars is the fact that there are roaches all over this place. Last time there was one crawling on the cooler and one by the cash register. Absolutely turned me off of my lunch that day. However, if you’re not scared by a few bugs running around, I definitely suggest this place. The hot honey ham is so good.

It was so delicious and their french roll was so yummy. good portion and good food. when you order combo, it is bit pricey though. better than Jimmy Johns i think.

A quaint place across the street from the University tucked behind an office supply/FedEx store. Fair prices, good food and friendly staff; hard to beat that combo. Enough tables inside and out for a place of this size or you can get your food to go.

Great sandwiches! Friendly service. Turkey and avocado was delicious. Their bread is tasty. Think next time I’ll try the hot meatball sub. They have a good variety of specialty sandwiches, the New York sloppy looks awesome. Will definitely be returning!!!

Had the Philly cheesesteak. Zero flavor. It was my first time there and probably the last. Some of their other sandwiches might be better, I hope so, but I was very disappointed.

This deli has tasty sandwiches. You can make and create your own or you can choose from a variety of delicious options. My favorite is the«hot Santa Fe» combo(+chips/salad and drink). For the price, great environment and value.

One of the best sandwich shops in town. Great atmosphere and good staff. Only draw back is the wait time on sandwiches. I have an hour for lunch and it took 30min to get my order and my friend waited over 45min for his. I would give a higher rating but it’s not worth the wait when I get a sandwich in 5 min from jimmy johns up the street. Hopefully service improves.

For the price and accommodation – staff who, despite getting a bit worn down from the poor air conditioning and lunch rushes, still try their best to make what you want well – this is the place for a reliably good sandwich. I like the Ultimate Vegetarian with green chili and Turkey added on wheat; if they had more bread options(organic, sprouted, local, etc.), I’d like this place even more.

Was looking for a place to grab dinner that wasn’t New Mexican food. Just felt like a cold sandwich because it was over 100 degrees today. Stumbled across Mediterranean Deli and was pleasantly surprised. Great menu options, freshly made bread, great condiment options and Boars Head meat. My sandwich was worth every penny. My only complaint was that the deli looked a little run down and could use a makeover. Don’t let that fool you though, this is a great deli!

Just passing through looking for food for the road. So glad we saw this place on the way to freaky fast delivery. Bread excellent. Lots of meat on the sandwiches. Some interesting sandwich creations to try. Wife had turkey sandwich and raved about freshness. Rosemarie behind the register was a doll and her brownies were spectacular.

Great sandwiches and quick friendly service. Great place to grab lunch or order a «party sandwich». The patio is very nice for these cooler fall days.

This is the best sandwich deli in Las Cruces by a long shot. Had the briechutto(Brie and prosciutto) sandwich. Unreal fresh bread, plus sliced Red Pepper, I may add the green chile next time. I also had the French Onion, best I have had since moving here. Great customer service too!

I’m hooked on this place! I love that they make their own bread. Have always been extremely satisfied after eating here, an haven’t ever tried a combo here I didn’t like. Wouldn’t recommend the macaroni salad, but everything else is great!

First of all the listing of Metropolitan Deli at 300 El Molino is no longer at that location. We stopped in for sandwiches today at the Metropolitan Deli. The French rolls were very good. I had the Muffaletta sandwich with ham and salami with their olive salad on top — very tasty. My wife had a turkey sandwich with cranberry cream cheese — very tasty as well. Both sandwiches had sufficient meat on them. Our sides of macaroni salad and potato salad were good, but not as good as similar sides at other locations in town.
