Pho Saigon

I love the rare steak Phở at this place.
Always hits the spot when I’m feeling a hint of «the crud». I’ve eaten dozens of times and have enjoyed everything. But 4 out of 5 visits I have the phở. The orange chicken, and beef and broccoli are very good as well. Great for business as it is not very busy (unfortunately) so there is room a plenty.
Give it a try.

I missed eating phở and i found this place.

Love their steak spring rolls and rare steak phở especially now that its starting to get chilly. The place is always clean and service is super friendly. This is a must if you want real Vietnamese, best in town =)

2 plates and an appetizer $ 33 what a rip off the cheapest quality food and so much breading on the sesame chicken there is practically no meat inside. I ate 3 bites and already feel sick to my stomach from the grease and oil. We usually buy from A Bowl To Go and it awesome $ 6 for a whole plate of rice vegetables and chicken. We will not be back to this place with gourmet high prices and cheap poor quality food.

Horrors.

Worst experience. Brought my dinner out very late whereas my dinner date got his dinner right away; including appetizer. Not only did my food come out late but the waiter completely forgot my appetizer… which was the same appetizer my friend had. Not only that… the restaurant was slow as usual. Besides the menu changes with higher prices I ended up leaving and eating some place else with better servicE. PHO A DONG is the place to go.
And overall. I’ve tried to give phở Saigon a chance. And every single time they always seem to mess up a good meal gone to waste.

This place is AMAZING!!! Everybody should try it. It is really maintaining it’s standards! I’m VERY VERY VERY impressed! :-D

I’m visiting from Denver and I love phở. I was very happy to see the variety of food in Las Cruces and was hoping the best after reading some of the reviews here. Unfortunately the phở is a terrible representation of the namesake’s most famous dish. I wanted to order a boba drink but they were out of tapioca balls. I was able to order the rare beef phở. The phở broth was incredibly bland, and the bowl wasn’t anywhere near to being full. The rare beef was rare, but was very short of what a normal bowl of meat in phở should have been. No fresh basil is served with the phở, only bean sprouts, cilantro, lime and jalepenos came with.
Overall this was a very disappointing experience. Wouldn’t recommend it.

Never have I eaten phở with so much added oil. Unnecessary and just nasty. I stopped there on my three-​day trip across the south and this was my lowest rating meal. My waitress is super nice and friendly, but the food couldn’t help improve my opinion. Two stars is still better than one ;)

The appetizers showed up and were actually good with the exception of the spring rolls.
I ordered the yellow noodle with wonton soup. I was enjoying that until I dipped my fork in and a COCKROACH floated to the top of my soup. When I informed the waitress she seemed annoyed and took the soup back and I heard her tell the kitchen staff «It happened AGAIN.»
What won’t happen again is me eating here.

This place was great! As soon as we walked in the waitress came up to give us menus and take our drink orders. They were extremely nice and quick. Our food was the best! There was a good portion of noodles, vegetables, and meat.

Nice place, BUT the cook will not deviate from the menu. If it’s not on the menu you can not get it the way you like it.

The spring rolls w/​beef are real tasty. Beef was well seasoned and was real good with their peanut sauce. Just like how any good spring roll should taste but nothing special. Got the #29 egg noodle with bbq pork, shrimp, and squid. The soup base was very good and noodles were tender. I like to add more spices to flavor it up and was real good. Enjoyed the food and I would go back.

Service was really good and the employees there were nice and fun. Food came out fast.
#17 Phở (w/​shrimp) — I never tried Phở before so I didnt know what to expect. I didnt really like it but it was still enjoyable
Fried noodles– was expecting pan fried noodles (angel hair noodles) but was presented with little chunks of fried noodles with beef, chicken, and shrimp. Was still very good overall.
Combination fried rice– It was so good. The first time I’ve had fried rice that actually had meat in it while living in Las Cruces.
Honeydew Bubble Tea — Really good and tasted like Honeydew. but also as if it had chocolate or like coffee??? Don’t know if it’s like that or an accident, but it was really good.

Always very clean and fast service. The food is good and there are a number of options and slight variety.
The ingredients seem to be always fresh and of high quality, which improves the food and makes it what it is.

Rare steak and seafood phở were both okay. Not terrible but overall underwhelming. Broth lacks richness. Basil would’ve helped, but unlike every other phở place I’ve been to, none was offered. Just kindof… boring.
Spring rolls just taste like unseasoned salad wrapped in rice paper, and I’ve had much better (more peanut, less salt) peanut sauce.
Sadly, as many have mentioned, this place is only worth going to because it’s one of two phở places for 50 miles.

I have eaten here several times. Pretty good food, really good smoothies. However, after last night, I won’t ever be eating here again.
Posted hours of business are until 10:00 PM every night. Last night, I tried calling in an order for carry out, starting at 9:15. The line rang and rang and rang, going to voicemail each time, through five calls.
At 9:30, I got to the restaurant itself and found the «Open» sign lit up, but all of the staff were sitting at a table kicking back, and started angrily waving me away when they saw me coming toward the door.
Why would I continue to frequent a business that doesn’t want me for a customer? Adiós, Phở Saigon.

We eat here about once a week. In a town where dining options are limited, we are grateful for this little strip mall nook. It might not hold up against Vietnamese restaurants in Phoenix or LA, and if it was in a larger metro area I would probably give it 3 stars… but for this area it’s a solid start.
It took us a couple visits to find our go-​to order, which is now an order of tofu spring rolls (#3) and vegetable phở (#16). Both are delicious and fresh, and splitting that order is perfect for two people. The phở broth is flavorful and not too salty, and it comes out with lots of fresh steamed veggies. The Chinese or Thai dishes (like pad Thai) are not recommended.
They usually only have one server on duty, so if it gets busy it us tough for her to keep up. However, the owner and/​or cook often comes by to check on tables too.
If you find yourself in Cruces and in need of a tasty meal, I’d recommend Phở Saigon.

Phở Saigon. Their Vietnamese Pancake is good and the vermiselli as well.
No it is not quite the same as Seattle, we do not have an Asian Market available for supplies, however, we will support them and do enjoy the service.
