Food is great. Prices are reasonable. I was looking for Indian food and was initially disappointed but the food is great. I’ll make the trek from t or c for this place again soon.

Authentic food, with an authentic atmosphere. Couldn’t have asked for more. Friendly and hospitable staff, best hummus I had in quite some time

Simply the best in El Paso! The beef shawarma is out of this world. The family dinner for up to 6is indescribable. Truly a dining experience. Vegetarian platter is superb too. It’s just an incredible place! I just cant imagine why negative reviews are written.

Awesome experience and food. Ordered the lamb, lentil soup and hummus. Everything was fresh! This was a random stop on our road trip and was a great find.

Loved the food and ambience with the traditional seating set up was very pleasing. In the business hours it shows open till 10pm, but it seems that the kitchen closes at 9pm itself. We were lucky as we stepped in at 8.55pm and there were almost 5 different set of people came around 9.05, 9.10pm who were sadly turned away(still the sign was open at the entrance Till 10pm). Hope the management can make changes either to the business hours showing up or the kitchen closing time accordingly !

We tried this based on other reviews and found the food to outstanding. My husband had the lamb Kabsah. It absolutely melted in your mouth. I loved the babaghanosh. I tried the kabob combination plate, I loved it but it was enough for 2, so I took home plenty of leftovers for tomorrow… we will definitely be back. I just want to add that the waitresses were friendly, on top of drink refills, and made you feel very welcome.

This was a very lucky find while on my way through Las Cruces. Got the chicken curry and yellow rice. Did not taste like typical restaurant food — was more like something someone’s grandmother would have made — full, complex-flavored rice and rich curry. Must visit if in Las Cruces!

lamb kabsah is great. cook to perfect tender. the hummus is ok, the Santorini’s hummus is better than Sheba’s. Also the price is a little bit expensive.

Definitely, NOT the Indian cuisine I was anticipating. Waitress didn’t know what the items were and she seemed to struggle with what information she did have. She did make sure our drinks were never low and kept checking to see if there was anything else we might need. We ordered… everything was seasoned well and tasted good. There was no way I was going to be able to eat all the rice that came with the vegetarian plate. Even my companion was unable to eat it. The majority of that meal was rice, about 8 cups of it! 2 falafals, riata, hummus and something else. Next time less rice please. Thank you. :)

My wife and I stopped here for lunch. I love this style of food so it was easy for me to eat, but when she started eating off my plate I realized it must be good. I’ve taken her to places like this before and she usually can’t find something she likes but she ate almost everything we ordered. The lamb and chicken were amazing.

I had the gyro plate and my mother had the chicken kebab. We started with the dolma which were delicious! When dinner came, it was hot and flavorful! I got both the yellow and white rice which I suggest anyone else do! I stop through here when I drive between Texas and California. I’ll be back again and again! Thanks guys!

Tasty, cheap, quick, easy, quiet and super friendly. What more do you want? We got out of there for less than $ 40 inc tip & tax. Very full and satisfied. We got the Felafel’s to start, perfect amount of hummus to go with them. I had a gyro plate and he had a lamb Schwarma sandwich — which is a gyro with different meat — with fries, and not just skinny fries, real crinkle cut steak chips(we’re Australian, they’re what we call real hot chips) All the food was great, and this will sound weird but that is the best yellow rice that I’ve ever had, and I haven’t been living under a rock and just had rice for the first time! The service was awesome, two nice young girls, very friendly and attentive. Saw us using our phones and came right over to give us the wifi password!

Food was very good! I had the chicken masala with yellow rice, girlfriend had the gyro with tzatiki sauce, and pistachio Baklava for dessert. Very friendly staff and clean setting. Definitely recommend!

I wish there was a way to add half a star to this, because it was pretty good, but I wouldn’t eat there again. The falafal was good. The little donut shapes were cute and made eating it simple. However, I ordered the kabobs and that might have been my mistake. For the entrée price, you get 4 – 5 moderate chunks of meat for the kabobs, a few veggies(bell peppers, tomatoes, onions) and like 3 cups of rice. Although the rice was good, the ratio was a bit off putting. Not that I expect 3 cups of meat, but at least 2 kabobs worth and not a full pot of rice. I did really enjoy the tzatziki sauce, but maybe I should have eaten something else. Looking at the photos, however, it looks like this is just their thing: huge amounts of rice. I was also a bit surprised that there was a gratuity charge of 15% flat added to our total, and then we were given a receipt with space for additional gratuity. They were nice, but what the heck?

Driving through Las Cruces, we found this gem right off highway. Fresh and generous serving of baba ganoush. Terrific pita. Organic meat. We had lamb and beef gyros fresh, with flavorful tzatsiki sauce, cucumber slices very good Only reason not a 5-star rating is ate there just one time for lunch

This is for being open on Christmas day(nobody else was) and, despite being heavily understaffed, serving us delicious food with warmth and kindness. Recommended are: –the lamb mathbi: perfectly cooked, tender, falling off the bone –Sheba-style hamburger: on ciabatta, with a different kind of kick than your standard burger –gyro –the grilled fish –the accompanying salad and rice are lovely. All were very satisfying for my group of South Asian, Muslim, very-picky-about-Middle-Eastern-food diners.(What, you thought I ate all of that? Don’t judge.) Be aware, though, that the place isn’t heavy on what you’d call«ambiance». If that’s not a problem for you, and you can dig on some very solid food and some very decent folks, drop by Sheba.

Hot damn! Sheba Grill is a must if you find yourself anywhere near Las Cruces, NM. I am currently traveling with three touring bands, and we showed up within 5 minutes of closing time, and Sheba Grill stayed open for all of us. The restaurant has great lighting, comfortable booths, and even a cozy lounge area in the corner. Immaculate bathrooms and clean floors. Not to mention their phenomenal service. The employees behind the counter made us feel welcome and appreciated. They even let us sit down to enjoy our delicious food, asking if we needed anything and checking in regularly. I ordered the gyro with falafel on the side and hummus, all just for $ 8. While I’m an instant fan of both, the gyro was on another level of taste and delight. The lamb is tender, tasteful, and perfectly prepared. The lettuce, tomato, onion, and yogurt added a refreshing balance to the meat, and the pita held everything together fantastically. If and when I ever come through the Land of Enchantment again, I will be sure to pay a visit to this fine eatery. 5 shining stars for the Sheba Grill!

Here’s the deal, this place in comparison to what we’ve been able to find in the area is ok, I put Tiffany’s at a 5 in comparison but in reality in comparison to the«real deal» this place is a 1, Tiffany’s a 3+ and 5 being the best stuff from home, Glendale, Detroit, Boston. Why 3 for Sheba? We walked in, it was only us, not a great sign. Sat down, the gentlemen«serving» us was super nice, got our drinks etc. Came back and got our orders, like many that have rated here we got a sample of items. Starting w/falafel, never saw them ever in the shape of a donut, but they were«freshly» cooked, so they weren’t bad. Then we got humus, nothing spectacular, similar to Saba from the store, so not as good as i’ve had. Wife got the gyro plate, loaded w/meat, pretty good. I got the lamb like ground kabob, not what i was expecting paper thin patties that were«ok». You get a ton of rice and grilled veggies, so if you eat your entire plate, you’ll be stuffed. Also got a few samples of desserts, the baklava was made w/melted sugar, not honey and it was delicious. But they get it shipped in from CA he said, most likely Glendale area. Overall, i’m not sure how this place would do if there was more than 2 tables b/c our server was hustling from the kitchen area and our table and 1 other. Any more like lunch etc. during the week i hope they have more servers.

Just came back from an excellent dinner here! Nasir was very friendly and helpful showing us all of the different dishes on the menu. I ended up ordering the Lamb Kabsah. It was absolutely delicious! The lamb was full of flavor and very juicy. The meat just fell off the bone. Succulent! The kabsah rice was also delicious. I rarely am able to finish all of the rice on the plate, but I totally did because it was so good. My dad’s chicken was also delicious, and my mom loved the salad and lentil soup she got. Really, this is probably the best place to eat in Las Cruces! I’m definitely coming back on my next trip!
