Stopped on a whim on my way to white sands, and was shocked at how jam packed full of memorabilia and information that tiny museum was. The indoor part of the museum is full of space program history, and the outdoor grounds have just as much interesting information to contribute. No entrance fee, and the prices in the gift shop are very affordable compared to other, similar, gift shops(and there is no minimum credit card purchase). Some websites list the closing time as 6:00pm, but the day I was there the museum sign said closed at 5:00, so you may want to call ahead.

Stumbled across this roadside private museum as my friends & I were battling heavy rain on the highway. Lovely stop, complete with a very welcoming curator who gave us lots of tips on the area itself as well lots of info on the historical odds & ends housed here. Worth stopping for any space buff!

Way cool roadside attraction! One of the biggest collections of space/NASA memorabilia I’ve ever seen!!! A huge water tank out back has lovely murals all over it depicting major milestones and tragedies in the history of NASA. There are also some rockets and fuel tanks and engines out there. Inside there is a huge collection of stuff from the entire history of NASA, from photos, to actual used equipment and clothing! Way cool stop for anyone interested in the US space program!
