Nice selection of designer fashion from clothes to purses and shoes. I fell in love with a white Gucci bag priced fairly at $ 500, as well as many other goodies they had stocked. Service was great, the store is well stocked, great stop while in Vegas!

I love shopping especially the Buy, Sell and Trade consignment stores in Vegas! I recently became brand new to Unilocal and wanted to see if I liked it so I purchased a $ 10 coupon deal for $ 5 at A Second Chance Women’s Boutique Store on Maryland Parkway. I was excited to use the coupon, leave a review and try to trade some of my unwanted belongings in the meantime but when I came in the store the owner acted like I was a bum off the streets and definitely didn’t want to see my clothes for trade. I had just got out of LVAC gym from across the street and was wearing gym clothes and shoes that I had purchased from Big 5 Sporting Goods store yesterday, so I’m certainly no bum! I needed a little help to find what things I could buy in the price range I was looking for and the owner walked straight back to the back of the store without helping me. When I found something I liked, it had no price tag on it so I asked her that I’d like to purchase the item. When I showed her my Unilocal coupon not only did she have NO idea this existed but she accused me that I had pulled a scam on her! Not only am I now skeptical to buy Unilocal coupons but the ethics that this business owner had completely ruined my perception that consignment stores are fun.

please be advise that they are rude. i called today simply to check on some shoes because i WANTEDTOBUY them once i was off today. A women named«JODIE» answered the phone with the worst attitude telling me «to call back, shes too busy she doesn’t have time to look and to call back in a hour.» and rudely hung up on me. i mean ladies the store is small and have about 3 workers there and the cashier is very close to the shoes. she could have easily told me to hold on for a few min and she will look. I’m in the business of sales so i know that was not professional at all. Customer service is always first and it could have been handled way different.

Ran into this store while hubby went into Big 5 and 4 ladies all seemed to work there seen me walk in and just ignored me! The smell of the store is discusting and at my brief glance at their«name brands», they were all just high priced pieces of crap! An outdated Calvin C. $ 60+? Just go the mall and buy new!

I DONOT recommend consigning your belongings here. I made the mistake of not checking online reviews before consigning… and was left very unhappy! First of all, when bringing my items in for review(I had an appointment), the women there said they didn’t have time and had to «go home.» It was a far drive for me so I asked kindly if she wouldn’t mind at least skimming through my things. She did and that was nice of her. She found about 20 things she liked. My problem was, when I came back to pick up my check and items that didn’t sell, 4 items were missing. They said they would look for them and call me back. NEVERGOT A PHONECALL. This store, does not itemize«smaller» items. I suppose all my items were smaller because NOTHING was itemized and you do not know how much your items sold for. When you pick up your things, you have to search the ENTIRE store to find things that are yours. This is a very long process if you want your things back. I think they are secretly hoping you don’t find your stuff! LOL Anyway, I made the mistake of bringing more items in at this time. This time I brought«bigger» name items. When it came time for pick up… low and behold, ANOTHER item lost AGAIN! I gave this place the benefit of the doubt by selling again, but when they lost my things again, I HADIT! Wrong stickers were on my items! Not only that but they were rude to me and didn’t believe they lost items the first time! It was only after I found a note from the first time that the woman believed me because she recognized the handwriting. To make a long story short, they gave me a few bucks to make up for the lost items(probably to shut me up) and found the item that was lost on the second round. I DONOTRECOMMEND consigning your things here. They are unprofessional and may lose your items. You will never know how much you got for each item because it is not itemized. Also, when getting my things back, I noticed they put the wrong size on one of my shoes!

I’ve been here a handful of times in the past – I’m talking about within the last 5 years or so, and during one of these previous visits, was with my mom when she came here on a quest for a Chanel bag, which she got. Since then, I’ve been frequenting this place, and even stopped in this week for old time’s sake. I must admit that I still enjoy coming here, although I wish that they were open on Sundays, since I happen to be in the area on these days. I also don’t care for the location of this place, but that’s another story. In any case, I did see quite a few designer items, and at the time that I was there, they seemed to be flying off the racks as quickly as they were being displayed – boots, bags, and a dress. I must’ve asked them close to a dozen questions about their handbags and luggage(Louis Vuitton, vintage Chanel, vintage Gucci, and Gucci). Ya, my «sweet tooth» is for designer bags. Lol. They do have replicas, but make sure to separate the knock-offs from the real designers. While I asked them question after question(to see the items and ask for pricing), they had no qualms or issues about removing the items from their display cases/areas and showing them to me, while quoting the prices. Normally, I figured that I’d get a dirty look or a bit of attitude, but the lady at the front was quite helpful and eager to assist me while perusing their items. While she quoted the prices that were being requested, she did state that they were having a bit of a sale and discounted pricing for the holiday season. On my way out, as I was in a hurry to run an errand, the lady that was helping me gave me their business card, stamped a $ 10 off $ 50 purchase on it as incentive to return and make a purchase, and took down my info for their mailing/calling list for new items. I’m definitely gonna have to come back in, so I’ll keep you posted on any return visits. For now, keep up the good work.

Honestly one of the best kept secrets in Vegas. My husband owns a guitar shop in the same shopping center and it took me 7 years to discover what treasures lay behind those doors. I bought an amazing vintage coat, necklace and top. I can personally vouch for the fact that Stacie R(comment below) is confused. I actually checked out a great pair of Loub’s(not my size) and that’s coming from a girl carrying a Marc Jacobs bag! A Second Chance not only has great pieces by great designers, but it’s hand chosen by people with greater style sense than those looking for labels & logos. Can’t wait for next week when the inventory changes and I can wonder back in for a few new(to me) things!

Not worth stopping in. It’s in a sketchy looking shopping center and it smells like old lady. It does carry some designer items, but nothing grand. You won’t find any very high designers(Louboutin, even Marc Jacobs) here. Maybe a stray old Ferragamo pump. I wouldn’t bother unless you’re just desperate for something with a designer label.
