This company deserves nothing less than 5 stars. I am so amazed by their professionalism and expertise. I found them online and called for an estimate, 20 minutes later Claude came by the house to look at the trees and give us an estimate in person. We wanted our two palms trimmed in our backyard, and when he came by he quoted us a VERY reasonable price for all the work that needed to be done. My palms were so over grown, he said it had been 4 or 5 years since they had been trimmed last. On top of that I have a very small yard, and very tall palms, all the work could only be done by ladder. When he came to trim the palms a couple days later, he was here exactly when he said he would be. It was so much work, my yard was filled to the brim with dead palms, and it was all done in less than an hour. Removal, blowing the yard, and all. Claude and his employee did such amazing work, our palms look wonderful for the first time since we lived in this house. Claude is so friendly and nice, I finally have someone I can trust and rely on to maintain my palms. I highly suggest AAA Tree Service for any of your tree needs. I took most of the tree down myself. I called them to remove the 6ft tall trunk. Claude was nice & friendly when he came to give me an estimate. He seemed certain that there would be a lot more roots other than what were visible from me digging. He said that there was no way of knowing for sure & said that it would be about $ 200.
A couple of days later he wrapped a chain around it & pulled it out with his pickup trunk. The trunk fell into the side of a bush causing some damage — I guess this was understandable but it irked me because he didn’t acknowledge it. They had a very hard time cutting it up for removal and he told me that his chainsaw was dull from the previous job. I thought it odd that he wouldn’t have a spare on hand if this is your business. It was hot and they were sweating from the struggle.
When I asked how much to make out the check for he said $ 200. I questioned it saying that there were no hidden roots and his response was that $ 200 is my minimum for a job like this. I f that were the case he should have told me that up front & not made it sound like it might be less. It just made me feel like I was charged a bit extra because his chainsaw was dull & made the job difficult.

We had 3 palm trees that needed removal as their roots were placing stress on a retaining wall in our yard. We scheduled an estimate. Claude came to evaluate the work and was quite honest about the best way to handle the job. After getting a few other quotes from other businesses, we chose them for the reasonable price. They arrived to do the job and completed the removal efficiently. Overall, we are happy with the service provided and the work was done well.
The reason for losing a star is twofold. First, we asked for a clear written estimate. What we were given at first was scribbling on the back of a business card. After insisting on something more formal as I expect from licensed contractors, he brought it over the same day as showing up to do the job. We were a little surprised that he planned to do the work at the same time. Just some poor communication whether from us or them (not sure). He also wanted to be paid by cash which I never do with home service vendors for legal reasons. Ultimately, he did accept a check which I do appreciate, but it makes me wonder about a business that prefers cash and tries to operate under the table. I am quite sure what we paid for the work was not discounted with saving on their taxes in mind.

Claude offers a fantastic tree trimming service. He is a true professional and will not do a «hack job» on your trees like other landscapers or tree trimmers might do.
