Dr. Acherman is a fantastic doctor! My son’s pediatrician heard a murmur when he was 12 months and referred us to the Children’s Heart Center. We were so nervous and afraid.
Dr. Acherman took the time to answer all our questions and explain everything to us, he even drew us pictures to explain what was going on. He really listens. We never left his office with any questions or felt rushed.
Dr. Acherman loves what he does and it shows. I really wish he could be our primary care provider/​pediatrician because he’s so gentle and funny with our son.
The wait at the Heart Center was always long (an hour or more), but it’s so worth it. Don’t get discouraged. The doctors (and the staff) really care about these kids and they want to give them the best care. I highly recommend Children s Heart Center and Dr. Acherman!
