Diann is my new barber and she is great at what she does. I used to drive out to Oscar’s on Decatur and Charleston to get my cut and I was faithful to them for 5 years but since I recently moved farther away I had to find something closer. Thanks Diann for the awesome cuts!

I’m pretty clueless about hair and hairstyle so I’m always a little blah about getting my haircut. Ms. Amanda took the time to talk about some dos and donts with me and gave me a really killer cut. I didn’t feel rushed and I was super comfortable. I will be making an appointment with her for my next cut, without a doubt.

Amazing barbershop, very friendly and fun, has the old school barbershop feeling. The owner Barb is amazing and not only cuts my hair but my 11,9 & 4 year old. We’ve been to countless barbershops, THIS IS THE ONE!

My boyfriend lov (ed) this new place. The wait wasn’t so long compared to the other barbershops he has been to. The lady who gave him a haircut was super friendly and they had great conversation.
Downsides: usually when he comes in for a cut the barbers spray his hair down just in case there was product in his hair. Unfortunately, this lady didn’t do so. We didn’t expect to go to this barber and we had errands prior to walking into the shop.
The haircut looked great when he walked out. She styled it like he wanted. Last night he washed all the pomade out of his hair and his hair looked a mess. VERY unevenly cut. The very back of the hair was super short while the middle was longer. His hair is just so uneven.
Long story short, he’s not coming back. He’s been to other barbers who have done a much better job and so much cheaper. Only downsides to those places is the wait. But next time, we will wait.

FINALLY a great local barbershop. Highly recommended. Good prices for good quality. Great atmosphere and knowledgeable barbers. Patrick did an excellent job with my hair and it didn’t take him to long either. Definitely going back.

I’m really not sure what to rate this place. Overall, the barber was really nice and the shop is really cute and I loved the vibe in there. My problem is what I received. I brought my 2 year old in for a haircut. I didn’t have a specific picture of what I was looking for just that I like his top longer, and back and sides shorter. I am a hairstylist but the reason I don’t cut his hair is because I don’t want to chase around a toddler with scissors. I specifically brought him into a barber because I thought maybe he could get a fade or the use of some clippers like he has at every other barber I’ve taken him to but I was wrong. At the end of it all, my child has a legit bowl cut. It is absolutely terrible. He has pinup girl bangs that are not even fixable and I specifically asked for his top to be longer. I instantly regretted not saying anything but at that point I knew it was unfixable. Had my son been moving around like crazy I would get it. However he was sitting there still watching a movie on my lap. I found this place on Unilocal and I’m sad to say I’m disappointed

This barber shop is amazing, the place clean and classy. Everyone is always so helpful and great at doing hair. Amanda is the best ever. She always accommodates me when I call for an appointment. She works with me in getting the best cut, gives me advise on how to take care of my hair and which product works best. Amanda also takes clients on Sundays, Sundays?!? Yeah most places are closed on Sundays.

Amanda hooks it up every time! She is very professional and takes both walk ins and appointments for me all the time. Great place for a cut!

I love this place. I’d still go if I had hair. Great staff, reasonable prices, highly recommended. Dianne and Patrick treated me awesome for the year or so when I had long (er) hair and needed something more than my clippers to keep it tame.

I’ve been going to Ashtons for about 5 years. I used to go to Joe but he retired. I go to Bob because he’s the next available. Bob size to cut my hair on top of all the same length including the bangs which are now about a half an inch long the middle of my head is about three quarters. He tried to fix it but once hair is gone you can’t put it back so now I gotta wait like 3 – 4 weeks until my hair grows back. Bottom line is go to Barb, anybody but Bob he’ll f*** your hair up in a heartbeat.

I called first before I went, sweetest lady answered and was very welcoming. Very friendly staff ! We all felt comfortable. They did a awesome job ! They did exactly what we asked for a haircut. We will def go back!

My son and I have been going to see Barb for almost 15 years! She used to be with another shop until she opened her own business, Ashton’s Classic Barbers.
This shop has an upbeat personality with an old fashioned atmosphere. All of the barbers interact with their clients and make them feel comfortable. There are TV’s to watch sports, the staff is fun and friendly!
Although we live in Henderson, we still drive out to Durango for our haircuts! Once, in a last minute situation, we went to SportsClips! Ugh! After that debacle, we ended up going to see Barb for some repairs!
We love Ashton’s and we always look forward to our visits! Please give them a try! You will not be disappointed!

I always like going over to get my haircut here. I usually never have complaints, and when there’s a little mistake, I let it slide. But I got one haircut in which just shocked me. I like having the come over hairstyle. And with that style, I like to part my hair (when they shave the line, dividing the short and long hair). Well when I came in, I just wanted my sides shortened, top trimmed down a little, and my part to be shaved in again. So pretty much my part was already there. the barber I got (Bob) didn’t notice I had my part (even though it was clear where the short hair started and where the long hair started). So he decided to shave a completely new line on the side of my head, and to top it off, the line wasn’t even done well. So now I have two lines. I even pointed out to him in the beginning where my originals part was.
The whole time I wasn’t facing the mirror, so I didn’t know where he was cutting. I came back 10minutes later. (I noticed the horrible job when I got home) they tried their best to fix it when I mentioned that I wanted my money back. They did a decent job fixing it, and he even said he’ll give me a free haircut next time. I declined the free haircut however. They did their part in fixing it, but making a mistake that bad where I look stupid is unacceptable.
