I’m going through a salsa phase and had to try this one out. I ordered it from their website and it got to me way sooner than I expected(always a plus). I have very little patience when opening any piece of mail, so I had to try the salsa before I even refrigerated it. Now looking at the packaging, I was like«this better be hot if that’s it’s name…». It did not disappoint… such a good burn – the kind that you keep trying to convince yourself you can handle. It’s smokey chili and warm spiciness was just what my munchies called for. We ate half the jar standing around our dining table. I’d love to learn how to make something like this, I’m certainly intrigued by the cooking classes now :)

The Baked Chef has a product line called Tiebreaker Foods that makes a world class HOT salsa that you can order via online webform. I use all uppercase because this isn’t your everyday Tostito’s-brand Pace-brand BS «spicy» salsa… let’s just say Necessary Hotness is very appropriately named and equally as delicious. Tastes best with simple white corn tortilla chips but I’m sure I could enjoy this with a burrito or even eggs. You can tell there was much trial and testing before they landed on this very unique yet simple recipe. It was packaged very well but I did make the mistake of buying just 1 jar — it’s barely lasting 24 hours so I’m definitely going to buy at least a quad next time I pick up from The Baked Chef. ;)
