Looking through my old check-ins, how could I forget my visit to the bare pool lounge? HAHAHHA!!! Funny thing is my friends and I had no idea it was actually going to be a «bare» lounge… I’m assuming we were all hungover? Didn’t put 2 and 2 together? Who knows… overall we had a decent time despite the music so loud we could barely hear each other. I would come back if I’m SUPERRR bored or if I want a reason to get mad at my boyfie… :P It’s a semi-funny place to be in Vegas. I’d recommend reserving tables/cabanas ahead of time as they seem to always be packed.

This is by far the best pool lounges I have been to in las vegas. Amazing service, good energy, nice lay out. Pool could be a little bit bigger but it’s still good. Everyone was well mannered and the staff had the place under control. Strict but good experience. Definitely be returning here next month

Awesome pool experience and I live in las Vegas. Staff was super friendly. Juan, Mike and Scott the security… Were friendly. Cost was reasonable and the female DJ played all the hits. The pool isn’t as big as other pools but still a great time! And didn’t have to deal with over crowding. I will be coming back again!

Was inivited by a friend To go… our waitress was a small blonde and a total witch my friend opened up a tab and she charged everyone else drinks to the card even though she said she was going to split it up .I was the only one who had mind enough to bring cash and when I was asking the waitress for a drink from the drink menu she looked at me and told me the kitchen was closed and walked away but I only wanted a drink!!! She. brought out 5 more trays of drinks and then told me the kitchen was open… my friend ordered my drink because I was to annoyed to even order 18 bucks for a drink !!! My friend got a 200 tab including her 40 dollar gratuity… my friend didn’t tip her because she wouldn’t fix the tab like she said and she sent us out the long way around the other pool ill never go to bare again worst service ever

They must be having some terrible trouble with something. The unprofessional staff rummaged through our bag like we are criminals. Realize they need to check but can’t bring my own prescription in with ID? Why not?! Toptional but all we saw was a crowd of very young people and only 1 gal brave enough to take her top off. Looked boring. We left in less than 5 minutes and won’t be back. Moorea here we come(10 times better!).

My wife and I tried this pool out while we were in Vegas over the weekend. We were given free passes into it by a promoter so it was worth a shot. They asked us when we showed up if we wanted to rent two lounge chairs for $ 100.00 a pop and since we were only able to stay for an hour and a half we told them no thanks. The guy checking us in, didn’t get his name, said«look me up when you get in and I’ll try and find somewhere for you to sit.» He not only did that but since we were staying such a short time he gave us two lounge chairs for free with no drink minimum. He just asked us if we could please buy a couple drinks from the waitress. No problem. The waitress, Ashley, was unbelievably attentive and over the top friendly. The vibe of the place is great and every person we talked to on the staff had a smile on their face. We want to thank the staff at Bare for making it a great experience and going way above and beyond to make us comfortable. We will be back on our next trip for sure!

A couple months ago, I stayed at the Mirage and was actually looking forward to checking out Bare. Except one day I was meeting my friends at the pool entrance and was in mid-conversation with them when we were rudely interrupted by a promoter. I understand it’s her job to attract interest in the lounge– yes I’ve worked customer service before, and if she understood body language then she would have very clearly seen that we were not in a position to receive such information. To be perfectly honest, I didn’t even know she was talking to us– until she had the audacity to say«Oh. They don’t even know English.» This is 2015. Vegas attracts a multitude of different cultures and people. I couldn’t believe such ignorant words slipped through her mouth, and that she had been living her life thinking this was perfectly acceptable behavior. I guess I should feel better that at least she’s being honest about her racist attitudes– something that is only know acknowledged indirectly through poor behavior and which can be vehemently denied. To some extent, I was surprised at the anger I felt in response to her words. They were hurtful, and I wanted to believe that she was just a lone employee propagating hateful, condescending attitudes. I tried to speak with the Mirage in regards to her rude behavior; the concierge was concerned and meant well– but informed me they have no control over Bare as they are a separate entity. They did, however, refer me to the manager who was about as ignorant and rude as the girl and only gave me defensive excuses. The exchange only led me to believe that this man also believes in propagating hateful attitudes as he offered no condolences, or even asked which girl it was. Thanks for making it perfectly obvious that racism still exists. I don’t think I can ever stay at the Mirage again, as long as they’re associated with this business.

Don’t go there. It’s another Vegas rip off. Came with my GF. Absolutely no class. Customer service is terrible. Every step cost $$$. Lots of hungry males looking to see a pair of boobs. What a shame. It’s not a Europe where to be topless is a norm. Better go to a normal pool and avoid this place.

Meh! I went in for a brief minute or two just to see what bare was all about, can honestly tell you its tiny for a pool area, not really for evevryone, from my point of view its an area for some pervy guys to pay 50 $ to gawk at some up front and personal chesties and be disappointed. I can see some women at the pool being very uncomfortable and some male partners not happy by the experience but i guess thats for their own discretion. Ask me i have reasons to be topless in Vegas lol

Alright last vegas review. Yes I’m giving a topless vegas pool four stars. This was a last resort one afternoon and we ended up having such a good time time we almost missed our dinner rez lol. Highlights: –three different champagne showers by the staff haha felt like a music video –these really drunk girls with star stickers covering their. Um parts. And they were squawking«our boyfriends would KIIIIILLLLUS!!! hehehehe!!!» –some crazy lady wearing a bikini made of fur. Where else would you see that? –clear glass wall pool(does that make sense) one level up Keep in mind: Hardly anyone was actually topless and pictures aren’t allowed :) Vegas baby!

Terrible, do not go here if you’re expecting a comfortable and relaxed European style topless environment. My wife and I visited this pool looking forward to a comfortable and secluded adults only pool, away from children with the benefit of her going topless for some fun and to help avoid tan lines. How wrong we were! We visited on a Tuesday at around 12:30pm and we were lucky to be handed tickets for free admission for her and half price admission for me($ 10) as we entered the Mirage pool area. However had we paid any more I would’ve been severely disappointed. After we arrived we find out that there is no where to sit except at the bar or on the edge of the pool without paying money. If we wanted one of the recliners around the pool(which are absolutely free around the normal Mirage pool) we had to spend $ 50 minimum per chair at the bar. So after paying an entry fee they provide you with nothing, no comfortable place to sit at all. Then there’s the issue of the toplessness. No women were topless and with good reason, it didn’t feel comfortable. First up without wanting to pay money for a recliner it means there’s no comfortable place to be in your own space. My wife was very happy to go topless if it was a comfortable environment, but without her own space it just wasn’t. Add to this the fact that the pool is ringed by cabanas which are much more secluded with curtains, and the one directly in front of us was filled with 4 very large and unattractive men with no women. So pretty much the whole pool was on display for these guys. Add to this that in order to enter the pool we had to pass through 3 or 4 guys to check our IDs, check our bag, and then finally lay down the rules, it didn’t set up a warm environment to begin with. My wife pointed out that they really need to have women greeting the women going in to create a more welcoming atmosphere. I think they should create a policy of men only gain entry with a woman. One woman for every man. If single guys or groups of guys go there without any women they’re only going there for one thing, and it’s exactly that reason that means women are not going to feel comfortable topless. As it stands it feels like an excuse to rip people off while failing at its supposed core purpose of being a European style topless pool. Just charge an entry fee and then give people a place to lay by the pool. It has potential to be a fun place, the DJ was playing good music and everyone in the pool looked like they wanted to have a good time. The pool has just failed to create a fun and comfortable atmosphere though. If you’re prepared to spend money and want a 21+ pool with DJ music then this is your place. If you’re looking for anything else then you’ll be disappointed.

The Mirage’s Bare Pool Lounge As soon as we checked into our hotel we headed straight to this spot(It was a Thursday afternoon). Not too pack, a few boobies out and about(hence the name Bare – topless pool), smooth check-in process(I always get nervous checking in to any Vegas spot). Once we got in, a gentleman(maybe owner/manager?) offered us a cabana, quoting different prices and explained what was included. Honestly.best decision ever. We felt like royalty(a modern day«Coming to America» moment) seated at the top overlooking the area. We also had this all glass looking pool that overlooked the main pool area. Very clean and comfortable cabana, and our waitress(the one with tattoos all over her body) was extremely attentive and nice. I would say come here and shell out the extra cash to enhance the experience. It was well worth it. p. s. no picture taking allowed!

Oh dear merciful yeesus. I came here as quite the skeptic and my instincts(and faith in the Unilocal reviews,) were correct. An earlier review said that there were ladies free passes, so fine I’ll go. We knew it was going to be a crapshoot on how fun Bare was, but I was willing to finally check out a European pool. Since we were not planning on spending the cash that it would take to get a cabana or lounge chair, we figured there would at least be a seat at the bar. If there were seats at the bar. We did not run into anyone with the free passes, so we paid the cover charges and prepared to head in. But wait. The first thing we were instructed to do was to get rid of our e-cigarettes, as they are not allowed in Bare. My husband had to go back to the security desk at Mirage’s pool, where they were willing to stash them. Now, I know there is a lot of hype about e-ciggys, but I found this to be a pain in the ass, seeing as though you could purchase an insanely priced pack of regular smokes and have at. This joint is SMALL for those who are not willing to purchase a seat/cabana. The majority of the space is for those who do buy lounging areas. So, we had our pick of a spot in the TINYLITTLEPOOL in the middle of the place. It did not take long for the pool to fill up and I waited for the murky waters to form. The crowd was evenly men and women, all ages and not all of the women chose to go topless, myself included. So in that respect, I did not feel uncomfortable. However, the service SUCKS. I asked a guy about lounge chair pricing and he instructed me to «talk to that dude over there» in a nice f*ck off tone. I did not bother searching for said«guy» and returned to my shallow end of the pool. The day was uneventful and uncomfortable. Everyone was having a good time, but the pool was so small and way too crowded to enjoy myself. After about an hour and a half, we took off. I would have to say that my favorite part of Bare was when we were walking down the exit ramp. One of the bouncers was coming out with us and had a plastic cup in his hand, that he was carrying carefully. I asked him what he was doing and he said«okay, don’t tell anyone because I am supposed to be this big, tough bouncer, but there was a bee in the pool area. It’s a honeybee and I don’t want it to get squashed so I’m letting it out in the bushes.» Right on. Lol. We could have returned with our bracelets, but once was enough for me. As a final kick in the tail on our way out, we ran into the person giving out free ladies’ passes. Fml.

Had so much fun here yesterday! Had a cabana and Sarah the waitress was amazing. The champagne shower was my fav part. The pool is very small and dirty. Many people use the restroom in the Pool. The staff are also very strict with dancing and taking pictures because it is topless pool. The music and people are amazing. I did not eat any food but, the service was amazing. A true hidden gem in the Mirage.

Growing up in a liberal and highly educated part of California my lack of life experience left me barely believing that true racism still exists outside of the rural south. The staff and security at this pool showed me in ten minutes how wrong I was. We showed up in a large group of half men and half women. We were on time to check into a Cabana that was reserved nearly 5 months in advance. Two from our group(who happened to be African American) walk up to check us all in while the rest of us separated to find shade. The guy looks at the list, states the name the reservation is under and nods his head. A member of the security team walks over and taps him on the shoulder and whispers in his ear and stands behind him with his arms crossed. The check in guy then tells us there are no more cabanas available for the weekend. This is about a minute after acknowledging the reservation! I overheard a couple more security officers talking and laughing and making racists remarks. The security guard who whispered then walked over and fist bumped the other two employees. One of our group asked to walk through and see the other options available. Big surprise! There were several open cabanas and daybeds. They were offered a 4 top table in the sun for 15… We didn’t push it because everyone leaving told us how terrible it was inside. So we went to Tao and got a couple daybeds with covering and had an amazing day. I am disgusted and appalled at the behavior I witnessed by this staff. Bare lost a lot of money Saturday and hopefully due to this review the management will take this training opportunity to educate their staff that this type of behavior is intolerable. Don’t waste your money or time on Bare or their bigoted staff.

Went on a Thursday in May and disappointed for several reasons. 1. It’s small and crowded. 2. Price-BF was $ 40 3. Poor service-we were there for several hours and not once did a server offer a drink. Had to visit the bar each time. 4. Few women were topless, so a bit uncomfortable. Will try other pools next trip to Vegas, pretty sure there’s better ones.

The gf and I come here multiple times over the weekend during the pool season. This is our favorite pool. It’s a very intimate pool with open minded individuals. We’ve made countless friends at this pool every time we visit and we still talk to those same people. The service is amazing. Everyone is always having fun at this pool. Will always come back every year.

I absolutely love coming to Bare for industry Mondays! Open bar all day on Monday for locals which I think is amazing. I personally don’t drink alcohol but my local friends take advantage of Monday Funday! I come here for juice, water, food and fun. Try to get a chair or daybed… it’s not that big and you don’t want to be standing around. Went to the opening on industry Monday yesterday for pool season 2014. It was packed… with one fight. seems kinda typical of Vegas. Come to bare if you love topless pools, free booze and good music. I highly recommend the lobster tacos and fries! xo! I’m a fan! Go bare. «Bare» Pool Lounge… we should have known this was a topless day club just from the name, lol. Me and my girls were looking for a place to chill on a couple drinks and snacks before our flight and these two employees at a nearby froyo shop suggested Bare Pool Lounge– they also gave us each a couple complimentary drink tickets– so why not? Located at the Mirage, we walked down a relatively long, narrow, garden pathway to the entrance of the pool. We still had no idea that this may be an «adult«pool lounge bahaha. This pool lounge is smaller than Marquee/EBC/Wet Republic, but it was pretty decent. There is one bar, one main pool in the center, and small tubs located in the back near the DJ. There was no line(this was on a Monday) and we were able to order our drinks without waiting either. The bar area isn’t too big and there isn’t much seating unless you have a reserved table/cabana. We were lucky enough to grab one of the two side bar tables to chill and snack.( )( ) We had a nice time here before our flight– I also liked how they played hip-hop. a nice change from the unce unce unce all weekend :]
