Came to this Barnes and Noble to pick up a gift card as a Xmas gift. This location is like any other Barnes and Noble, full of books, a Starbucks, and stuff! The store is set up good, and things are pretty easy to find without assistance.

I always love coming to bookstores, even though I’m not a reader. But here is can glance and get a snack or coffee

Books are still cool to me :)
Call me old fashioned but I still love the way a book smells and feels in my hands. This never gets old for me.
As electronics dominate our world I hope & pray that these type of book stores don’t all disappear. I also hope that people never stop writing books whether it’s all about fantasy land to help you get away from your reality or maybe a cook book that inspires you to try something new or a great classic like «To Kill A Mockingbird» which I could read 100 times or even «Gone With The Wind» which I have read a 100 times all books are a great way to relax the mind. Every night before I go to sleep I end off with a book in my hands.
This store carries so many books and I find myself spending hours in it. I remember when I was younger I always wanted to work in a book store so I could explore the aisles every day.

Barnes & Noble is much more than a traditional book store. A visual collage would portray the best image.
Almost like a scrapbook, you can cut and paste layers of pictures to capture this experience.

Offer more children specific events. Perhaps there could be crafting and art classes, science demonstrations, puppet shows, meet the author, test prep workshops for teens, writer’s workshops, board game and game show events and ways to use books (e.g. cookbook demonstration, organization classes using planners and calendars, language classes).
Starbucks Café. Please offer organic juice instead of the conventional brand currently available.

4 stars solely for the fact that a bookstore exists in today’s day in age. Bravo! Seriously, my hubby always wants to come here each visit to Vegas, since we stay down the street. So this satisfies his book cravings. Nice large and bright location, just next to Whole Foods.

As an avid reader, Barnes and Noble is always great to go to after a wholesome meal from Mac Shack (which is in the same complex). That’s exactly what my brother and I did. We came in to look for a book for my younger brother’s birthday gift. Everyone was very courteous and it was nice knowing that the staff actually ask if their guests needed any help finding something.
I can stay here for hours, but that’s just me.
Only downside is the long line at check out. They need more cashiers at the register. Other than that, this Barnes and Noble isn’t bad at all!

It’s just like the one in Henderson, but except that the Starbucks is eearly quiet lol. I felt if I stepped into one of the seats there and started typing I would be stared down by with daggers. One thing though it needs more seating’s like the one in Henderson. The store is nice and quiet. I was so freaked out by the silence I ran out the door.

This location, SE corner of Charleston/​Rampart, is across the street from Boca Park.
This store has an easy to understand layout and is generally very clean!
However, the men’s restroom needs to be cleaned and stocked more regularly!
Well lit, large private parking lot with plenty of convenient parking spots!
Excellent selection of books/​subjects that are easy to find because the friendly staff make it a point to keep the shelves organized, including the magazine racks.
Pretty sure the store stays open til 10pm almost every night.
There is an indoor/​outdoor Starbucks seating area w/​WIFI, however your VIP Gold Starbucks reward card will not work here as it is not a regular Starbucks.

In the back of the store, there is a fantastic kids section with seating area for parents and kids alike, including some unique gifts/​toys/​games; also has a large music section.
Usually an upscale clientele given the neighborhood, but please do get rid of the unnecessary security guard who annoys everybody walking in/​out of the store every night this week.

Good B&N. Clean and serviceable, lacks in atmosphere. Some of the staff are very good and very professional.

I love the fact that there’s a sitting area in the Starbucks section since there’s none in the reading area. This place is always so clean & the employees are professional! Always a good place to stop in!

Would have had an awesome experience if I had not been followed around the entire night with the associate «fixing» books in every area that I happened to browse. Diversity training is much needed to help employees expel biases. When she rang me up, she didn’t even bother to ask me how my visit was. Possibly because she scoped my every move like a creeper. Definitely an uncomfortable shopping experience in a usually peaceful environment. This was my first time to this location with my GPS guiding me to one actually farther from my home, but I definitely won’t be returning.

Barnes and noble used to be better than any Target or Walmart when I was younger. It was amazing because I loved reading. However, I’ve always thought the books were expensive and they still are. I know it’s hard to compete with Walmart and Amazon where the books are a lot cheaper but selling at publishers price is a turn off for the Asian in me.
I did come because I’ve gotten a couple of gift cards for this place. I know that it’s expensive but I end up getting one or two books with a $ 25 gift card. Overall it’s awesome to study but buying is another story.

Barnes and Noble’s has a great clearance section and they have a great layout in their store. I would love to just be able to sit in there all day and drink coffee and read books. I am not sure if they have one already but they should have something like the library to help you find books and direct you to where they are at, for some reason I did not see any employees available for assistance.

It’s no Borders, and the service varies from meh to mean, with an occasional friendly person.
They keep it clean, but I have witnessed several scuffles between employees and customers, even management and customers, which could have been settled with simple communication skills but were allowed to get out of hand instead.
The coffee is good, good variety of pastries. Book selection is ok.
Magazine selection is strong in every area except gardening. :/​
It beats not having a bookstore at all, I guess. Maybe corporate could send in someone to train them, and it would be a solid 4 – 5.

I finally signed up for the member card it does cost $ 25 and is only worth getting if you come here often. The employees are helpful and as of now have not come across anyone who isn’t friendly.

I have fond memories of B&M — it’s where I spent many hours during my high school years attempting to find girls with ZERO success.
I enjoy reading garbage magazines, sippen on coffee, and people watching. I avoid B&M on sats but I’ve been coming here weekdays about an hour and a half before close and always am able to get a free table by the café.
They have a large selection of everything to read and there’s always interesting people watching. On my last visit I saw a lonely talkative man ask the cashier at the café for a side of whip cream and then continue to talk her ears off while you can tell she was trying to finish her side work so she could get out. Then there’s the creepy old guy making conversation with two middle school/​high school girls with small talk — Damm I’m starting to get old if I can’t even tell their age.
I’m cheap and don’t like to buy magazines or books so B&M provides an outlet for me and for that they deserve 4 stars.

I live 25 min away and have my own office bedroom… I still drive here because it’s relaxing and gets me focused on work.
There’s plenty of tables all around with an outlet always nearby. I like the Starbucks inside because unlike most that generally have a lot of traffic coming in and out, here the majority of people come to study, work and of course also enjoy the coffee!
Also this is one of the last bookstores in Vegas so I definitely love to support!

Coffee, books, and good times… I love the fact that books are still in demand. Even if there is the strong push for Nooks and Kindles abound, it’s still so much fun to hang out here!
What I love most about B&N in particular, is that you can find a spot in one of their «reading areas» and kick up your legs, and read a book for «FREE!» Yup, grab a bunch of books or a handful of fashion magazines and go to town. This place is perfect for a lazy morning or afternoon.
This B&N happens to be in a great location. It’s well organized and the staff is friendly and helpful. My only gripe is that the starbucks café gets crowded and it’s always hard to find a seat. So, if you want to kick up your legs and relax, get there before the crowd on the weekends.
If you’re a bookworm, make sure you ask about their membership card ($ 25 for one year). Once you’re enrolled (like me) you get some decent benefits like: 40% off the list price of the current hardcover B&N Store Bestsellers or 10% off the B&N already discounted items, Bargain books, music, movies, Café and almost everything else. This discount also applies to Text Books for all you college students out there.

Basically I love book, and reading! Shocker!
I came to this Barnes and Noble specifically looking for a nook HD Plus tablet case. Upon entering you see the different types of tablets they have and just around them you’ll find a case with covers for both the HD and the HD Plus. I was looking for cute one but also one that had a stand on it so that way my son could watch videos online or read books.
The cases that were here for all marked up 34.95 or 39.95, and I was a little apprehensive because of the price but I asked one of the workers, who was readily available, if she would be able to assist me finding other cases. She informed me that the cases were on sale for $ 25. It would have been nice to see the sign by the cases, alas there was none.
It took me about an hour to pick out the perfect case but I finally did, I ended up getting a nook brand case where you can use it to actually watch the movies and what not. What I liked about Barnes and Noble is that it has a children’s play area and book area where your children can explore and not be in the way of adults. They also have a large Starbucks as well as some products to demo out. The employees are very nice and knowledgeable and definitely will help you with whatever you need.
I will def come back!

I love coming here to buy books. They have a great kids section with lots of Kuman books and learning activities and a huge area for kids to find a treasured book.
I have a discounted membership card which saves me 10 percent everytime I shop and you can use it in the café too.
Nice freindly service and lots to choose from, so happy they are still in business!
