Wonderful place to relax and to get away from the Strip and the Fremont Experience. Staff is jovial, helpful, entertaining and accommodating. Oh yeah, and cute. Thanks for making our last night in Las Vegas relaxing and memorable.

Great customer service and a fun place to get a drink and relax. The bartenders are super friendly and entertaining. The staff can always make me smile even when I’m having a bad day. The music is always different and fun. Something mainstream or poppy might be playing when you walk in and then a country or rock song will follow after. I listen to country and oldie music all the time now. It’s the kind of bar to get a beer and relax after a long day at work, but I love meeting my friends for a few drinks before a night out on Fremont street.

I had a blast here! Was invited to a party here, and so glad I went! The bar is cozy, which made for an awesome evening of conversations. I love having a little locals bar in the arts district area, can’t wait to go back!

What a nice and fantastic Dive club it is! My friends are also the fan of this place too and this place always becomes crowded with its spectators. Drinks galore and different testy foods are delighted its customers very much. Really this place is awesome for refreshment.

Found this joint looking for somewhere to have a good drink after leaving Hops brewery — I had heard of Snicks but never went! This is a super cute little bar, great bartenders and great atmosphere. The music is fantastic and my hubby found his favorite drink(which was amazing) the blueberry lemon drop. Service was great, and I wish we had found this little gem earlier! We will definitely be back and taking our friends! The price point was spot on. And it’s a nice change from the absolute chaos of Fremont East.

Been here several times when it was Snick’s, had a ball! Great bartenders very friendly crowd(for Las Vegas!). Came back, it’s a new place, new owners. OK, maybe it will carry the vibe from the old place? No. Twice I’ve been here since the change and it got clickish with an unfriendly bartender… could have sworn it was the same guy from the Garage. I’m going to miss the place since it was becoming a fav. Too bad Vegas doesn’t have a LGBT bar that makes EVERYONE feel welcomed.

This was one of the stops on the Blinking Man ride through downtown Las Vegas. Had no idea what to expect. I pushed my way through the crowd of 100’s of bicyclist’s in illuminated lonely hearts club band garb. Bastille was packed which made it difficult to grab a frosty beer to enjoy after the ride down from Fremont East. I finally got one and they had some great choices both on tap and bottle. Of course they had your top seller’s of the big three brew companies, I have a more refined taste though. While talking to a few strangers I found out thet this place used to be called Snick’s. I was never here under that name but at a glance it looked like a nice place with decent lighting and clean overall. The bar had plenty of seating and then had some high table half booths along the back wall if you are looking for a more intimate or private conversation. I could see this place being a great stop at or during«First Friday» seeing that it is located right at the end on 3rd and Imperial where they ussually park the food trucks and a samll stage for entertainment. In case you were wondering I only use the back door for exiting only. Have fun a Bastille a great little place near Las Vegas Blvd and the arts district.

I like the direction new owners are taking to makeover this historic gay bar. The future plans look even better. Bartenders are great, including Freddy, Gabe. Come out and enjoy it. Dennis D

The happy hour is indeed two for one, there’s a rainbow bud light tap, and I got free pretzels. Also, I am Unsure if this is just a Vegas thing or if these guys are special for bringing me a three ounce shot instead of the 1.5oz I am accustomed to in most bars. Definitely recommend.

We walked a long way through a very sketchy area to check this«oldest bar in LV» out. The drinks weren’t bad and cheap that’s the positive. Watching the exterior on the security cameras was a little creepy and told us that we could be in danger if we stayed too late. The very few patrons and bartender were very friendly — to each other. Not to us. Tried it once, and that’ll do for a lifetime.

I was visiting and decided to check this bar out, and it was awesome! They have a shuffle board, darts, friendly bartender, great drink specials and a good selection of music to choose from in their juke box. It was also very welcoming, really cool people. I will definitely be coming back to this bar the next time I’m in Vegas.

Okay. .. I knew this on was a gay bar. .. did not tell my brother though. .. since the name of the bar was the name of our childhood dog. A small bar with a little character. .. and I’m not talking about the bartender. Besides the stiff drinks, the bartender let us choose a couple of songs to be played while we drank. .. Everyone is Gay by A Great Big World and I’m Shipping Up To Boston by Dropkick Murphys. .. I’m pretty sure this place had never heard that kind of music before. And the other highlight was talking to another patron about dinner the night before. .. and having him tell my brother he should slap him for ordering a cheeseburger at a Cajun restaurant. .. now, I would have paid to see that. I am not sure if I will ever make if back. .. but it is on my return list.

Love this place. I used to go to the most awesome parties behind it after First friday. The bar itself is great, very old vibe kinda campy in the best way though. There have been nights that I have walked in and been the only girl. Other nights I have walked in to porn playing on the TVs. This place fucking rules. They make a fantastic whiskey sour.

I’ve been going to Snick’s for years, and I love that anyone is welcome to use the place as their neighborhood bar. Nick and Dominick are really friendly and charming bartenders who can brighten anyone’s day. Drinks are cheaper than average and there’s shuffleboard. Like most places downtown, Snick’s could use a bit of polish, but what it makes up for in sparkle, it makes up for in authenticity. Support this locally gay owned business in the Las Vegas Arts District the next time you’re thirsty. The bar is bicycle friendly.

What a cool little friendly bar tucked away near the art district. Went about 11 pm on a Thursday and the place had about 15 people of various ages, mostly locals. Definitely a laid back relaxing atmosphere and a great place to have a drink. Nick was working the bar, not only was he very friendly and welcoming but he makes a great cocktail. Every person I met here was friendly, this would be a ideal place to met people and talk. The location can be tricky to find, but just turn on forth st off las vegas blvd and you will see it on the left, google maps has it mapped perfectly.

My husband and I live downtown and have found ourselves ending out nights out at Snick’s. Sometimes, you aren’t quite ready to go home but you want to hang out at a place that is low key. This is the place to do just that. I know this is a gay bar, but we have never felt unwelcome here. The patrons are relaxed and it doesn’t have a «meat market» vibe. They have video poker, shuffleboard, and the best Internet jukebox I’ve ever seen. NICK. He is probably the friendliest bartender in town, and he pours stiff drinks! So watch out! His cocktails can sneak up on you. And they sometimes have complimentary popcorn. I really like Snick’s for the chill atmosphere, Nick the bartender, and the affordably priced drinks.

Love me some Snicks! I’ve been to Snicks on a few occasions with my fellow coworkers after a night of partying. The bartenders are as friendly as it gets, the drinks are generously portioned and inexpensively priced. The Internet jukebox fulfills any music mood and the crowd has always been friendly and chatty. It’s almost like going to a friends’ house for drinks and meeting their friends. I’ve seen young and old alike in here, there’s definitely a variety of social types on any given night. I won’t lie and say that it’s not a dive, because it most certainly is, but after a night of paying for overpriced drinks and table service at a snooty club, Snick’s is a refreshing change.

LOVE Snicks! I usually roll in here when I am not feeling like sucking in my gut. Nick the bartender was the first person in Vegas to be nice to me. I was here the other night just chillin and palying the Juke box. Atmosphere? Well, it sorta smells like Popcorn and Disability checks.
