EDITED8÷31÷2009: So I’m in town for a couple of weeks and decided to stop by at my favorite LV boutique, Blend. I came in and wasn’t greeted by the salesperson. I haven’t seen her before and the lady working wasn’t the owner(cos I’ve seen the owner before) but okay this new lady working was very intimidating, not only was she not smiling but she was texting the whole time I was browsing inside the store! Seriously. Anyway, the clothing selection isn’t as great as the previous times I’ve been here, I’m actually disappointed. For a store that used to be my favorite LV destination, this is tragic that I changed my rating from 5 stars to 2. Tsk tsk. I’d go to Indra grae(Sp?) or succumb into corporate retailer Barneys immediately! FROM2÷23÷2009 given 5 stars: Yes five stars! I briefly moved to Las Vegas last year. On a hunt for a local boutique. I’ve found stores in Boca Park but they just couldn’t cut it. Then one day I decided on a stroll around Town Square, and chanced upon this little fashionable store. Well, I was surprised, they carried clothings from designers I admire… and that was RARE in LV. When everyone’s frolicking in their Ed Hardy and Rock n Republic Jeans(which hello don’t really make you COOL), this quaint(yeah it’s not the typical las vegas ’boutique’) just gave me hope once again that a city like las vegas would have taste in «good» fashion. And I hope it lasts long and survives and slowly convert las vegas fashion. Seriously! The owner is a hip and awesome person! Very down-to-earth. I love how she gives free water and free chapstick! Her staff are super nice too.(: And everything I’ve bought here(yikes, I remember spendng 700 bucks on one of my visits here) are of good quality and design. I never feel buyer’s remorse when I spend my money here. Never never never. Unfortunately, I moved to Portland and now surrounded by the real boutiques. But if I visit LV again, Blend would be my first stop. Promise. They better give me a discount. Hint hint.
