Boys & Girls Club Engelstad Clubhouse

My son goes here for school breaks and although I do not like the location, the staff are pretty nice.
This place is excellent because its a place to take your children so theyre not running the streets or getting in trouble. It’s also nice if you’re a single mom like me because they offer financial assistance as long as you’ve petitioned for child support (which I did not want to do, alas, I am not rich to afford summer care) The location is super close to my job so its a plus, but the neighborhood isn’t the greatest. The building is large and updated and big enough for all the kids that attend. The bottom level has tvs and the computer lab and upstairs has all the games and another computer lab. The place is as clean as it can be with tons of kids in attendance, and its not over crowded.
During the summer they take the children on field trips and do cool things for them. They also give your children breakfast and lunch, which is a plus if you forget to give them some brekkie.
Their hours during the summer are 7−7pm. They also have similar hours during breaks, otherwise during school theyre open after school til 7pm.
