I would just like to say after reading these complaints I’d have to say that my experience is the complete opposite. The clinic is very friendly, the staff is extremely helpful, and kind. The rules are simple and to the point follow the rules and there’s no issue. I have 2 weeks of take homes currently I should be moving up to monthly soon, I have been coming here for a while now. I have had quite a few counselors but this field isn’t cut out for everyone. I have had my fair share of incidents don’t get me wrong I’m not saying that its a Hawaiian vacation spot but I think its definitely an excellent place to receive treatment. I do agree on the hours they are a little odd especially Saturday(6am-8am only 2 hours) but I think of it like any other business the hours are the hours and complaining about it wont change it all you need to do is wake up and get there by 8. Not to offend anyone but we are addicts we have this disease that we have to deal with and in my case when I was using I would do whatever I could to get it and I feel the same with treatment I want to be clean I want to do better and I’m going to do whatever I have to do to reach my goal. Even if I was on daily and the hours were 12am-6am I would find a way to get there because I WANT to. I do not have insurance so I pay the weekly rate of $ 53 each week it used to be $ 50 which yes is a lot of money but that’s way cheaper than what I was spending on street drugs. I do agree with a part of a review that is posted when it comes to the payment and other clinics however if you are not financially able to come to this clinic insurance or not then you should definitely got to one more suitable for your financial needs because this is your life and your treatment.

If you need a clinic close to this location try New Beginings Counseling Center. The difference is night and day. They actually care and have real life experience with addiction. Not just your 20 year old fresh outta psychology class counselor. They even give free buss passes to those who are in need. They didn’t charge a dime for those who are using Medicaid and let me know that the 25 $ fee that CBH was charging wasn’t necessary. Just to be sure I also ask Medicaid about the 25 $ CBH still charges for Medicaid patients and they told me there shouldn’t be any co pays either. Finding a clinic that will work for you is a big deal since you will have to make it there everyday for the first few months. Do yourself a favor and choose one that wants to help you and isn’t just out for $. I wish I had started at New Beginnings. Better late than never at least I found them now. 3376 So.
