Ice cream is fantastic! I love taking my children to get ice cream all hours of the day and night… usually. Tonight I dealt with this white girl with brown hair. Had to be in her mid twenties. She, a young black girl and an older white lady. Black woman is energetic and friendly and the older woman seemed to just look busy doing whatever. Never had an issue going into this place until tonight. This chick’s service SUCKS! She acted like she wanted to do anything else but help me. Her attitude was sour and then got paper in my ice cream and laughed because she was embarrassed. She clearly needs a new job where she does not deal with people or food. If I could find another place that sold thrifty’s ice cream, I would ditch this place. Workers like her can cost a place business.

Yes, I not only go here to refill my car with gas… they have Thrifty ice cream. An assortment of ice creams and sherbet as well. The employees always offer you a taste– damn them;)

I hope the owner reads this! As a business owner myself there is one thing that every owner, manager, or clerk, should always practice, «the customer is always right». I have been frequenting your location on S. Durango Dr for more the 8 years and recently your Fort Apache location. I have been buying all my gas and cigarettes from you, as has my husband, my son, his wife, and manager of my business. I am 50 plus years old, it is no longer flattering to be asked for an ID to purchase cigarettes, it’s annoying! The clerks at both locations have in the past had the common sense to realize this and always except my birth date. Though I feel at my age this is ridiculous, it is not as cumbersome as having to dig your purse to get you ID out of your wallet. Given that this practice has been displayed by your staff at both locations, when your «Manager» at the Fort Apache refused to accommodate me as I did not have my ID with me, after I explained what transpired in the past is unacceptable! Especially since I just drove to your other location as was accommodated without an ID.

For a fairly new place I’m extremely happy with the service. Car wash is $ 5 and it does a good job. Vacuum is free just have to get a token from the register. Thrifty ice cream inside! And today they were out of chocolate (no big deal) but Tony came outside and gave my little boy a coupon for a free ice cream on our next visit! (And they sell beer)
