Beware that when you pay at the cashier, you will be pressured into donating money to the miracle feet foundation. When you decline, the manager will publicly shame you in front of other customers and insult you for not contributing. By participating in donation-shaming, this store has really performed a disservice to those children who are supposed to benefit from the medical services of this charity. Donation-shaming is a manipulative tactic to get customers to chalk up money right at the register. It’s intent is make you feel guilty for not donating. Donating to charity, whether it be time or money, for the benefit of those who are less privileged can be a very satisfying experience. I think its important to give back to the community and participate in charity projects. However, that decision to donate is often a personal one and shouldn’t be forced upon you, especially at the spur of the moment. There are good reasons not to give into pressure: for me, the biggest concern is not knowing how much the store keeps for itself as «fees» or whatever term they are calling it now. Second, I get tired of being confronted at the register each time I shop. Third, there’s no way to follow-up with your donation to make sure it is received by the charity. In short, I confronted the manager about her manipulative customer-shaming-tactics. I will also forward this incident to the board of directors of the charity to inform them of this manager.

Love the smell of leather in a shoe store. This Outlet shoe store always has a good deal going. They have a good selection of shoes. I go with the Clarks, which are light and cushioned, perfect for the office. The employees are helpful and this last time gave me a military discount on top of the store specials. I think the sale they have going most of the time is Buy One, Get One %50 Percent Off(which all things being equal is %25 off each pair). Still a good deal.

Great store for the comfortable(but still stylish) shoe-minded gal or guy. I’m a fan of Clarks and Privos(soleassage nubs for your comfort) but I don’t want to pay regular prices($ 79-$ 99 on average). I’ve got high arches so I cannot wear cheap shoes without any support.(I still wear my Doc Martens shoes but I wear my inserts so I can walk comfortably. And I do the same with my Aerosoles shoes too.) The selection is great here and the average shoe price is about $ 49.99. I love the stylish pumps in different colors other than black and brown, like burgundy. I especially like the oh-so-cute mary jane heeled pumps. The higher end brand of Clarks is «Artisan.» There is a line that is sold on QVC, called«Bendables” — but I’ve seen a few pairs here, too. If I had my choice, I’d get all my career shoes here. There are sooooo many cute styles here. It’s not just for the office, but for casual wear, like traveling(like the Privo styles). The aisles may seem small since, usually when I am at my size checking shoes out, I’ve got to move for other people who pass by(let me remind you that I am petite, so if I feel crowded, it’s gotta be small). There are pantyhose footie cheapies to wear, located in small boxes throughout the store. The clearance shoes are in the very back against the wall but it’s slim pickings with my size. So, good luck to you. There are nice salesmen to help you. In addition, if you get the frequent shopper card, you can earn an additional discount. If you want comfortable shoes(but still looks stylish) that is reasonably priced, shop here.
