Classic Furniture Consignment

I wouldn’t trust these people as far as I could throw them. The place is ok if you buy something from them, but if you put something on consignment, good luck getting your money.
They will pick up your furniture for free, but when you check on it, it never sells. But then if you stop by and don’t see your furniture in the store, then you’re told it sold but they only write checks on a certain day. Then if you show up on that day, suddenly there was a problem with the account. The son took money out and wasn’t suppose to. You are asked to come back again, this time I arrived too early, and they haven’t had a chance to go by the bank and the cash register is empty. So, by this time I got fed up and arrived with my friends, 2 big black ex football players. Pops (the older guy who I think is the owner) was there again, this time the story was different. He went into his own wallet and gave me my money.
Also, they seem to move every year, so if you can’t track them they won’t pay you.

I was in need of a new bedroom set last year and I checked this place out. Sam helped me and he was friendly and helpful. I was able to negotiate a better price for my bed set, two end tables, dresser and mattress for 1400. I was pretty happy about my purchase. There was a bit if a mix up with my delivery so I got my set later than promised. Then the movers who Sam had sent brought over a broken dresser. I had to send that back. Then when I get it all in my place I realize the dresser and end tables do not match the color or finish of the bed. I was obviously unhappy again. It took me almost a month to get the set swapped out after countless phone calls to Sam at the store. Then the movers take the old set in and bring me a new one, on the way out they damaged my walls in the hallway. Again very unhappy. So today I rearrange this same set that Sam promised was new and see the back of one of the end tables were nailed and hot glued together after it was clearly broken. I didn’t catch that when they swapped out my pieces. Thanks a lot Sam for a horrible buying experience and broken ass furniture!!! Worst place ever! They were great until they had my money. I’m now in the market for a couch and I know not to go to this place…

I went into Classic Furniture and I bought a living room set and a bed. The place is like a huge warehouse most of the furniture is new some of it is used. The sales person greeted me at the door. I think his name was Sam, he was nice, courteous, and patient I spent about 1 ½ hours looking talking and shopping the prices were affordable. The merchandise was good and plenty! Lol I also purchased a bookshelf and he gave me some cool chess pieces. I would recommend everyone to buy furniture at Classic Furniture.
