Classic Jewel

The bar is located on the first floor of Juhl, on the side that faces North. At the late hour I visited, there was plenty of street parking on all sides of the building.
Bar is small and cute with rather typical trendy modern décor.
I tend to like noisier, darker and even smokier setting (no, I’ve never smoked) in bars and though Classic Jewel is very pretty, it wasn’t very lively. I did notice DJ’s equipment, so by the looks of things atmosphere livens up some nights. On the night I visited, it was a handful of guys watching a game and conversing about it, and you could pretty much hear every word said in the small space.
They have a selection of draft beer, small but intentional, which I always appreciate, featuring craft and local brews.
I ordered a vodka gimlet and bartender did a nice job with it, it may have been on a sweeter side, but still good.
There is a single stall restroom in the back, and ladies, if you ever wondered what a urinal looks like, there’s your chance. Caught me a little off guard, lol.
All in all, glad I checked it out and got it off my list, but it won’t be my «go to» spot.

A place for wantabes. Snoby clientel and no professionalism with staff and management. I have lived in LA, San Diego, Scottsdale AZ as well as Paradise Valley. People here at this place are «classic» alright. Cry babies. Fakes. Wantabe somethings that cannot handle the truth. Do not even know how to fake a fake.

I was very impressed with the Classic Jewel. I always thought in Vegas you could only have fun on the strip, but I was proven wrong. The vibe, the ambiance, the music and the DRINKS… Class Act! I recommend anyone in Vegas looking to have fun and chill without a bunch of chaos from the Strip, to come and check out Classic Jewel.

Love the chill atmosphere. Love the area it’s in, and was curious to try because… I was downtown for Life is Beautiful, and I’m a first Friday enthusiast, etc. I saw it when I was heading home… I decided to try it tonight with my boyfriend and family. Cool place… I highly recommend. Bartender Justine was awesome, killed the Fitzgerald drink… tasty :) I love light and refreshing drinks.

This is a nice place to chill & rock yo hips & wave and sip. I will return here many more times with the hubby. I just love a spot where there are no yelling children and you can drink and mellow out!

«The Heat» amazing margarita. Bartender was sweet. The owner was very cool. I highly recommend this place. Come watch some games on their tvs.

The drinks were good the service was awful. The bartenders there were soo rude and weren’t very accommodating. The music was ok. I may go back in the future.

Hidden in plain sight.
The Classic Jewel is one of those places you probably wouldn’t be able to find without the Unilocal app. Located on Third and Bonneville inside the Juhl high rise apartments. This place has the look and vibe of old Vegas, but with a lot modern touches. They specialize in giving classic cocktails that cool updated spin everything from Mint Julips, Old Fashioneds, and Martinis.
I tried three drinks during my visit here…
The Royal Flush with Absolut Pear Vodka, St. Germain, pineapple juice and topped with Castillo. This was served in a champagne glass and was very sweet. Not really my normal cocktail choice, but this was very refreshing and great way to open up my pallet for my next cocktail.
Twisted Old fashioned made with Maker’s bourbon, muddled orange, cherry brandy and blood orange bitters. As a whiskey lover I really enjoy a good old fashioned drink, but this one fell just a tad short. It had an interesting bittersweet flavor that was hard for me to enjoy, maybe too much cherry brandy?
Brooklyn To Vegas, made with Bulleit Bourbon, blood orange bitters, Antica Carpano Vermouth. This was by far my favorite of the three drinks. Heavy on the bourbon and the splash of vermouth gave it that herbal kick in the pants. Great cocktail for the lover of bourbon based drinks.
Great spot to start you night out or enjoy a solid happy hour session which they offer 7 days a week from 4 – 6.

Came here for a cocktail and loved the cute atmosphere. It’s definitely a small cocktail lounge but a very fun place to go with your girls to have drinks and not be bothered.

This place is the real deal. Most professional bartenders and most welcoming atmosphere one could imagine.

I currently live at the Juhl, which is a high-​rise in Downtown Las Vegas. This bar just opened on the ground floor of the apartment building. They’ve already made it a priority to establish good relationships with their guests, most of which are residents. Try their gin cocktails — they’re fantastic!
The only downside is that there’s one single bathroom (which means you may have to wait a few minutes), but hey — I can just go upstairs and use my own :)

Great place love the owners … My second time there I like the fact that its quaint and good music is all ways a plus…, I will definitely be back!!!

This is my new spot since Lady Sylvia is gone, is really centric and hidden ! The environment and the attention was really nice, the only small problem I had is maybe I got the wrong drink, in my opinion was a little sour, but other than that was good.

Super convenient location for those who live in Juhl and those enjoying the wedding chapel across the street. Otherwise, it is a little out of the way… right in between Fremont and the Arts District.
Their cocktail menu is really unique and fun — ive tried three or four of their cocktails and have loved every one! The bartenders are really friendly and helpful too.
My complaint is largely the décor. It is like 80% there but something just isnt quite right. It feels a little too feminine and bright, not enough swanky sexy feel for my liking. I also am surprised they only have one bathroom. Now i understand it is a small bar, but we all know sometimes someone locks themselves in a stall doing all sorts of things… getting sick, primping, etc… if that happens, well, no one else (man or woman!) can go to the bathroom!

There is more fun stuff to do every day in the Downtown area!

We went over to meet a friend for a drink., and he suggested this new ADORABLE little neighborhood bar. It is super comfortable inside, the staff is fantastic! Fun, friendly and happy to see you!
Lots of funky cocktails to choose from, as well as the classics!
We had a great night! Can’t wait to go back.

Fabulous atmosphere, drinks, and music. The staff was great and Jerome the owner is there to greet you with a smile! In addition to list of specialty cocktails, they make an incredible Moscow Mule!
