Design Works Custom Painting

Absolutely amazing experience! I called to get a quote to paint my office. George came by later that day and priced out the job (very reasonable and less than the other quotes I got!). Within just a couple days, he and his crew came out to do the painting. They were all so polite, quick and friendly! The paint looks amazing! I will happily call Design Works again for any painting needs and will definitely refer anyone looking for a painter. Great overall experience!

George and his crew did a great job. I would highly recommend this company. You won’t be disappointed.

My husband and I decided to have our house painted. There are six bedrooms, front room, dining room, kitchen, family, room, laundry room and 3 ½ bedrooms. We had received a quote from someone else and thought it was to high. It also didn’t include woodwork or ceilings. Just walls. We were told about George Lopez and that he was fair and very good. I called and George was here within a day. He gave us a quote by email and within the time he said he would. We decided to go ahead with the painting under George and his company. We told him when we wanted the job done and how and he more than worked with us to get the job done, on time and in a very professional way. He worked around the fact that we had to move almost everything in our house and could only give him certain areas at a time. He provided a crew when we had a good deal of space and several men when we were only able to give him a small area. He painted all the walls, woodwork to include all the doors in the house and all the kitchen cabinets. His quote beat out the first one we got and, even at that, we thought he was going to low so we worked it out that we paid for half the paint and the final bill was still less than the first quote. I would definitely use this company again in the future. The crew walked the house with me when they were done. George walked the house alone and then with me as well to make sure everything was done. Our house is now updated and beautiful.

Over the summer, the gf and I sold the Mountains Edge home and bought in the Spring Valley area. What I thought was going to be a minor fix up at the new home continues to be a project.
Part of the project was painting the interior. We previously worked with George Lopez of Design works in painting the Mountains Edge home — his bid was much lower than the competitors, completed the work on time and above average work. Also, after finding a few touch ups, he quickly sent over a guy to finish the job.
For some reason, I opted to allow one of my go-​to handymen to bid on painting the new house since he was already doing a closet add-​on in the master bedroom (never enough closet space for the gf !) — boy, was that a big mistake ! We had a tight timeline given other work being done in the house. After not being even close to finishing in the allotted time, I eventually fired the handyman and gave George a call. Again, the guy brings in a big crew, gets through the work on time and at a reasonable rate. I’ve learned my lesson, George is the guy i’m calling when we paint the exterior of the house in the next few years and will be my go-​to if/​when we move again.
