Diamond Sands Apartments

Worst place I’ve lived in since moving out here in 2008! Small and overpriced. Removed a physical fitness area (tennis court, basketball court) and replaced with a place to be lazy and get fat (benches and unsanitary grills.) They redid the pool while I was there (and it sucks.) They only increased the shallow end. If you have a friend come over with a car, good luck finding nearby parking (that sucks too.) Entrance gate is old and squeaky (I bet the tenets nearby love hearing that open and close all night.) Called for a repair on my washing machine (the guy just unplugged it and plugged it back in, wtf was that!!) Shower handles are so out of date and hard to maneuver! Tried to overcharge me by saying I didn’t return a pool pass (total crap!!) I mention this part because I used to work for a tanning salon– Only one lay down tanning bed (completely unsanitary; research plexiglass and see what it really holds onto/​releases when you tan – disgusting!!!) Did I mention there are no areas to play/​recreate outside (unless you count eating and sitting as one of them.) Wish I could give them zero stars.

This place is comfortable and easy to deal with, it’s an older property but the management is clearly going through a transition phase to keep up with newer properties so I can respect that. I’ve been in the office a few times and they’ve been very helpful with any questions or concerns I’ve had.

This place blows, and their parking situation is the worst parking I’ve ever dealt with. I’ve never been towed by the place I pay rent monthly for! I wish I never lived here. Not worth it at all, everyone saying they like it is full of crap! Overpriced and small. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone besides my worst enemy.

These apartments are a joke. Period. They landscape the front while they let the back go to crap. The staff is a joke and don’t know what is going on with there own property. If you try to contact the owner of the property you have to go through the office. Even if its the office doing something wrong. The manager kat is ghetto as it gets. They will tell you one thing and do another then ask if you have it in writing. If you rent here its like living in a daily weekly. This is one of the worst ran apartments in las vegas. My opinion. DO NOT RENT HERE. Also they have gun happy security patrol who will try to intimidate you.

My family and I have lived here for almost 4 years now and we absolutely luv it here! The staff is always pleasant and willing to help with just about anything that you shall need. They have always treated us with the utmost respect and kindness.
As far as maintenance, those guys work very hard for us and are always prompt regarding any issues within our community.
You also can not beat the location and that is what brought us here in the first place

I was excited about my apartment search in Vegas until I ran across this place. My first encounter was a phone call because i had saw website and drove by property but the people in the leasing office were not nice at all and when I wanted to speak to the manager and found out that’s who I was communicating with the entire time I was DONE! Think her name was Kat or Kathryn not sure. I come from a Customer Care/​Hospitality background and family businesses since I was a small child So for me this was a turnoff and if she represents the face of this property; I’m glad I didn’t give them my hard earned money. Hopefully if your looking you have better luck because it looked as though it was a Beautiful property.

New gym is nice, but I wish they thought of a better layout for it… Treadmills are approx 6 inches from big flatscreens.

Lived here a little over a year and had little to no issues. The maintenance staff here is AMAZING. Many staff members live on property as well. People are terrible about picking up their dog poo and the walls are paper thin, but overall a very nice place to live in vegas. Kat and steve in the office are really nice and helpful. Thanks diamond sands for a great year
