Janet C. could not have articulated that any better than I would have! Wow, I feel bad for her experience but I feel so much better hearing someone else had basically the exact same experience as I did with her a few weeks ago! I felt the same way especially about needing to humble herself and that she needs to at some point be professional and diplomatic when communicating with her clients especially the ones you know are not trying to be a problem or hate on her, as she seems to think is everyone else’s problem, and those of us who are good paying and tipping clients. But she seems to feel invincible and treat all of us the same. I truly loved her work and skills but her attitude was very rude and unprofessional. Cynthia L. Smith, is now a former recent stylist of mine as of last night… I love reviews because it gives another person the opportunity to learn somethings about what their experience maybe like… I really hate this had to end this way… I have gotten my hair done by Cyn 3 times now since June 2015. The very first time she did my hair I didn’t like it as much I thought it was going to be something different but it did turn out to be cute… However the second time she did my hair it was fabulous I loved it I bought a lace front closure for 120 something dollars and she gave me a frontal natural part, a couple days later my hair lifted in the front where she sewed in my lace front closure which is awesome No Glue loved that technique … When I texted her she was shocked that it came loose and I told her I didn’t do anything and I didn’t let my hair down until until later… then she kept saying this has never ever ever ever happened to me before I’ve never had a client have a problem with their install and I was like really… Never ever wow nothing’s ever perfect… I wasn’t blaming her that she did something wrong I just was letting her know that it came out and can she sew it back in… Now here’s a little bit about my hair I have a natural «birth mark» in the back of my head in the middle it is normally thin there. However it will grow back but always thin sometimes even bald… Now what does that have to do with my front part of my hair coming loose I have pictures… So naturally I got upset I picked up the phone and I called her because it sounded like through text she was «bullying» me about how broke off my hair was, but long enough to do an install, I explained to her that I had did nothing but wrap my hair the night that she did it and she said Oh Oh yeah that explains it you don’t need to wrap your hair with this lace closure. I said okay I have told her in the beginning I have never had this procedure done… Okay so we went back and forth with the time. I get it people have lives and families to attend to… SO DO I… But what she did really only took about 5 mins that I felt bad she came in so early to accommodate me… I was really trying to fit it in at the end of the day but I have to drive 20 mins to her shop .Okay so that was over but I must admit I felt some kind of way and I didn’t know if I was going to be returning for her services. But I realize that is hard to find a great stylist that can style my hair the way I liked… Now I’m not a hater I will give to her that she has a great craft however she is not humble in her spirit everything is always a confrontation (I have the text messages to show) it’s never Awww I’m sorry how can I help you how can I make it better it’s always something you did wrong… i’m going to wrap this up last night threw me over the edge… I have been trying to contact Cyn since last Friday I left a text and I figured she will contact me the next morning which was Saturday or even in the evening I didn’t expect to get me in right away… my text said that I was available next Friday Nov 13 the following Friday and the weekend if that works for her schedule to fix my hair again… I had already knew how she was going to respond but I didn’t think it was going to take five days she never answered my text so I did the next best thing and went on Instagram and of course I received the message right away a text message that is. I was wondering if it was anything wrong because I hadn’t heard from her, but then I saw the Instagram post and that’s why left the message on Instagram. I told her it seems like she was ignoring my text in which she was… And how that was unprofessional (it usually takes a business 24– 48 hours to respond) not 5 days she said she had over 200 messages and she doesn’t do business via text oh yes you do! I suggested since she says she pays someone to do her Instagram than maybe she should pay someone to manage her business phone… Who does this Young lady think she dealing with??? Also her website have always giving me problems she herself had said it was double booking so why always send someone to a website that gives you problems but doesn’t have a problem taking your deposit… To make a long story short of course she went off like I knew she would… And said I was being disrespectful and she will not have a disrespectful client and that she is not the Stylist for me I said that’s the first truth I heard from you… I agreed now mind you I’m a professional I deal with people all the time I’m no where near negative or envious I love on people all the time… I’m just speaking truth. You be the judge of how your services go and I hope it goes well I do hope she change her ways with how she treats her clients. I wish her nothing but the best in life. I give 2 stars because of the way she treats people and how jacked up my style is today 1 week later

After looking for a local hair stylist, I chose la trice based on her stars and pictures. she makes you book and pay a deposit on her website. my appointment was at 8am, she texted me at 6am asking me to come in at 2pm that the computer «accidently» overbooked and I would have her undivided attention. I arrived right on time and she had 3 other girls waiting. She never even stopped what she was doing to apologize, she only asked that I re-​book online. I did, I wanted my hair done! I wasted my time and money $ 240 dollars I came washed, and blow dried I paid for the natural part with high ponytail. not only was I not able to wear my hair up due to her not leaving enough hair out, their was visible braids, lumps, and loose strings. I asked her to fix it she replied ‘book online’ I took out my weave 3 days after install. she is not professional, and does not care about keeping same clientele.

When visiting Las Vegas and had no other choice but to get my hair done by Cyn! She was easy to get ahold of and helped me out actually before I even sat in her chair, answering hair questions I had. In the salon I felt welcome when I first walked in and we conversed throughout the whole styling which I loved because I wasn’t out of be loop! Cyn also finished my hair in an incredibly timely manner and I have never been so happy with my hair! I’m actually hoping to come back to Vegas every few months just so I can feel confident about my hair again! If you want your hair to be the best that it can be, please go to Cyn!!!

Yesterday was my first day going to this salon and I’m really happy with the customer service I received and the way Cyn did my hair. After searching for a stylist that can actually do great weaving in Las Vegas (which by the way is hard in my opinion) I finally found one. Again she has great customer service and response back fast if you are trying to reach her about appointments or ask any questions pertaining hair. She did a really great job on my hair & I can’t wait to go back now knowing I got someone to do my hair the way I like it.

I had been wearing individual braids for over 7 years. This was the style I chose to wear after battling cancer.
This year I chose to come out of my braids and try a natural looking weave. I searched high and low for a stylistthat not only stood by their work, but had a personality that was fun and inviting. I looked into several salons throughout the valley (not going to name them) to find a place that I would feel special.
I scheduled my first appointment in October and because I did my home work, I did everything she suggested; from ordering my hair from her Mayveen web site and being early for my appointment.
I waited outside in the lobby for her to come get me. She told me to come on back to her room. Just as I was feeling good about meeting her, I find out I was at the wrong location. I was on Blue diamond and should have been on Buffalo and Tropicana. At this time, I was afraid she was going to be nasty and tell me to reschedule my appointment. I was surprised by her tone and attitude. She told me «it’s ok doll», just get here as soon as you can. I was there within 25 minutes.
I knew at this point I found someone special. I have had 3 appointments so far, my daughter just got her hair done and now one of my best friend is getting her hair done in ½/​2015. I will continue to recommend her service to all my friends and family members.
Well, I not only found the above qualities in Cynthia, I also found a friend in Christ, a devoted mother and a women who loves her husband to the moon and back.
Cynthia you are the best May 2015 bring you an abundance.

Again, this review is based on my own personal experience. Like I stated before I have no doubt that Cyn is good at her craft but to confuse me with another client not once but twice doesn’t sit well with me. I am in no way trying to hurt anyone but to let others know about my experience. It is up to them to make up their mind or not to visit a business.

This review is based on lack of professionalism since I didn’t receive a service. I had an appt scheduled and I drove 25 miles there just to be told when I got there that Cyn wasn’t there and wouldn’t be coming in at all… clearly this was a mistake right? Well the lady that was in the shop gave her a call to let her know that I was there and claimed to have an appt. Cyn told the girl to have me call her which I did. She told me that she emailed me to reschedule my appt and that she had received an response back from me… really? I didn’t buy it but okay it’s whatever. Needless to say I was extremely upset to the point of tears! She offered to do my makeup for free when I come back… well I will never go back.
Las Vegas is seriously lacking professionalism and customer service. This is the 4^th beautician that I’ve encountered and either they have a horrible attitude or they just don’t care and don’t show up to the appt. Thank goodness a friend of mine told me about a hair stylist she went to when she visited Vegas last year because I called her up and she told me to come right in. She treated me like a respectable client.
I have no doubt that Cyn is good at her craft but if she doesn’t take heed in her review feedback she may not be in business for long. Word of mouth is super powerful and so is social media. People will not stand for this and will find someone else to go to just like I did.

I judge service on many levels & I have to say that Cyn & her glam team at Doll Phace certainly exceeded my every expectation. Being an independent contractor myself, I know that you are only as good as your last client/​review. That being said, I take my hair very seriously, as it is so personal to most woman (and men). I was highly impressed from the moment I entered the Salon. My consultation was thorough & I left feeling very confident that Cyn knew the look I wanted to achieve. Come appointment day, I left with such confidence because she was able to offer me the style, cut, & color I desired-​plus more. I was educated about how to grow/​maintain healthier hair (something that tends to be overlooked). Thank you to Cyn & her entire Team for giving me envious hair that is complimented on daily. I’m quite appreciative!

Moving to Vegas, I was very hesitant on finding a new hair dresser, but I found Latrice and my prayers were answered! She always squeezes me in if I need to, and treats me as if I’m her only customer in the shop! She is always on time and takes great pride in the care and maintenance of my hair. Look no further this is who you need to go to!

I just moved to Vegas on December 3^rd and along with a new move comes a new do! Found Latrice and she is wonderful! Her salon is cute; her staff friendly. The stuff that she uses on your hair smells so nice. She has a wonderful bedside manner; you can talk with her! I have found my new stylist. Thank you for making me feel welcome in my new city!
