After living here for a year, I’ve finally found a Dominican salon– score! In New York, Dominican salons are like Starbucks, there easy to find and there is one on every corner. I made an appointment and got in a week later. Btw they work by appointment only
This place is nice when you walk in, and the ladies are super friendly. I got a wash and set, plus deep conditioning and blow-​dry.
My hair came out like a Pantene commercial, needless to say, I love this place and will be back regularly.

The best hair salon I have been to in Vegas! I’ve had to go to other hair salons due to Maggie being out of town and no other salon ever compares to this one. I love the atmosphere of the salon and it’s very well kept and clean. Maggie and her team do an amazing job, they are all friendly and respectful. If you are looking for a hair salon, I promise you won’t be disappointed if you go here.

Love Maggie, she is knowledgeable, respectful, and friendly. Love doing my hair with her. Before I found this place in Unilocal.I only went to hairstylists to cut my hair. Now my getting highlights and letting my hair grow with Maggie’s help. I do not suggest the Brazilian wax. Everything else is great!

The best hair experience I’ve had in Vegas. I was in desperate need of a shampoo and straighten after I took my sew in down. Found this place on Google and they were able to fit me in same day which was exciting.
My hair: I’m African American who’s been «natural» for the past 5 years. I love color so I tend to stay away from relaxers. My hair is very thick and curly with lots of tangles.
With that being said Maggie & her team were able to get my hair silky straight just how I like it. My hair is really soft, lots of body and shine. The price is affordable and I will be returning.

I loved this place. I had an appointment with Maggie. She did a great job coloring my hair and cutting all the dead ends and styling it so beautiful. My hair is live again. I was very happy with her customer service. She knows the colors very well and my hair looks very natural. I can’t wait to go back again!

I have lived in Vegas since I was 7 and have never trusted anyone to touch my hair. I’m mixed and have curly hair when wet. And I have just felt that growing up out here no one really knew how to handle my hair. Finally after years of contemplation I decided to find a hair dresser. After reading tons of reviews on many different places I found this salon and Maggie!!! She is a God send, so sweet and professional. I’m beyond excited I found someone that I trust to do my hair! I saw her last month and already booked another appointment!

I have never had such horrible service. I had an appointment at 5 but was there at 4:45. She took another guy, I figured for a quick cut. Af 5:40 she had not gjven me an update or apology when I finally went to her and asked what good an appointment was. She finally starts me at 6. She just slapped color all over and hasnt said one word to me. o apology either. I was very happy the last two times but this is inexcusable. Worst customer service ever from Esmerelda. Guess my Friday plans are off.

My mother and I were on vacation in Vegas in December, are stay was for 2 weeks, needless to say we needed to fix are hair during this time, and needed a dominican stylist, it’s what were use too. As soon as we walked in, we were treated very well, the process for my mom and I was about 2.5 hours, which was pretty good, because Maggie was extremely busy. For us it was a bit pricey, however, Maggie decided to give us a 10% discount, which was extremely nice. Thanks Maggie for your hospitality.

I have gone to all the Dominican salons in Las Vegas. I am (mulato/​mixed) my hair is very delicate and needs a lot of TLC.
I was able to find peace of mind and great prices stable prices at Dominican Design. The owner herself does your hair!!! No waiting around! For those who have children like myself; first kid friendly salon, even an area for kids to watch tv and play is in the salon.
Prices are reasonable and fair.
I had my Makeup done here for $ 40!
Highly recommend it!

I’m so glad to have found a place that specializes on ethnic, curly, freezy hair! Maggie is absolutely the best hair stylist I’ve had in my life. She knows the Ins and outs of curly hair. I have natural blonde curly hair, over processed by all my previous attempts to tame it. Maggie was very informative about the keratin treatment, oils to use to restore hair health, strength, and growth. In addition to the keratin treatment, I decided to install extensions in my hair. Again, Maggie explained the different ways of installing hair extensions, and why the method she uses is less damaging (and more hygienic) than others. I’m very pleased with the results.
I love Maggie’s welcoming, professional, and friendly customer service. I’ll definitely be back!
