Downeast Basics Outlet

I have a hard time going to this store and not blowing all my money. I love everything they have!

After meeting a friend at Sambalatte, I went into this charming clothing shop 3 doors down, lured by the cute racks of outfits beckoning to me from the entrance. Downeast Basics focuses on affordable, feminine casual clothing that almost anyone can wear. This location is actually an outlet store and carries a limited selection of attire from higher end labels (Anthropologie, True Religion, Lucky) from the previous season, in addition to its house brand. Staff was super sweet and let me browse in peace; when I had questions, they were more than willing to assist.
Today, I saw basic cotton t-​shirts for $ 5, cute cardigans for ~$ 20, and True Religion jeans for $ 99. I also spied a lovely Anthropologie dress for $ 44 that would have been SO GREAT if it fit. Alas, ’twas not meant to be. I will visit again to check out the sartorial offerings!
