Hector is truly amazing… I have taken his Get out of Auto Mode in Las Vegas I want to say in 2010, and since then we have kept in touch through the years. I have always been able to keep in contact with him with any questions whether it be about equipment or advice on a shoot… and since then, I have taken his Creative Lighting class twice, once in 2012 & 2015 (I needed a refresher) and both times I learned something new and different. He truly is amazing. He has so much passion in photography it is contagious. (Ive taken a few classes with other instructors and the passion, patience & eagerness to share knowledge could not compare to Hector) I highly recommend his class.

I took Part 1 Get out of Auto Mode in Las Vegas. This class was amazing. Hector was so knowledgeable and down to earth. I am an amateur photographer and this class gave me incredible incite to my new 6D camera and how to use it. I was so nervous about taking this class due to my lack of knowledge of photography. Hector not only prepared me before attending his class with homework but had a wonderful binder full of information. This class is a MUST for anyone who wants to know more about their DSLR camera and how to take the best quality pictures. This is an incredible hands on /​outdoor class. Its the perfect combination. I can not believe how fast 9 hours went. Thank you Hector for inspiring me and teaching me. I am looking forward to taking Part 2 from you soon.

I bought my first DSLR camera thinking it couldnt be that hard to use it. I mean, all I have to do is read the instructions. hahah… NO WAY! Until I met Hector I had no idea how to use my canon rebel T3. I Im so glad I found him because he teaches you all the basic stuff step by step. He’s super thorough, easy to follow and patient. I recommend his beginning to class to anyone. And honestly, I think the price is a bargain compared to other classes you see online. It’s a good deal with great quality service! I cant wait to take his next class once I mastered the beginning steps.

I took the course in Las Vegas, Herctor prepare a large living where he gave the class, the notes were waiting for us in the chair and he also brought drinks and snacks.
But the best was the patience that Hector has to teach of us and the number of different exercises to apply the knowledge we were doing.
I recommend that anyone interested in a photography course get in contact with Hector.

Take this course! I had ZERO photography experience going in and by the end of the 2 day workshop I was in complete control of my camera, taking pics I never thought I’d be capable of in such a short amount of time. Hector is very passionate about teaching his art to others. My only complaints are: 1) the weather (the entire class is conducted outdoors) and 2) the class ran late on day two because we got so carried away shooting pics. Overall the course is well worth the money.
