Ecxel Auto Body

Spoke to the manager of the shop (Tiffany) and she she seemed very honest and wanted to help. Long story short I was rear ended and was looking for an auto body shop to fix the damages. I wish I would have taken the proper steps in searching for an honest auto body shop. I understand business but not out right LYING. I was suppose to receive a NEW bumper and when I asked about seeing my old bumper when I picked up my vehicle it was «uhhh» we’ll call you, not sure where it’s at… mind you it’s dead summer and boiling hot so I agreed… after calling the shop owner Tiffany and texting back and fourth for days she always said «no problem» she’ll ask the guys about it and guess what — NEVER happened. The car was left filthy and dusty in the interior… absolutely unprofessional. After talking to a few people after this experience I found out I’m not the only customer of EXCEL AUTO BODY that has had these issues with having parts that were suppose to be replaced but the shop decided to pocket the money and «fix» the old part instead. They are also EXCEL AUTO SERVICES (same company and owners) I wouldn’t trust them with anything that has to do with my vehicle and I would NEVER refer anyone their business. It’s a scam… take the risk if you’d like but if you care about your car– you’ll skip this place!!!

Absolutely the worst place to take your car to fix. They had my car for an insurance repair and they replaced none of the parts that was supposed to be replaced. The just body worked it. Then painted it and it was all orange peel and dry. Said they need to buff it to make it better. I didn’t know that after you spray clear on a car you need to buff it to make it shine. It’s supposed to be to remove imperfections. I also gave them a front lip to spray and that was painted well but they forgot to prep it and all the paint chipped off. They put it on the car also and instead of using the mounting brackets that it came with they used the oldest non matching screws they could find and drilled it into the bottom of my bumper. Then they repainted the lip again and it took over a week and Tiffanny the owner tells me they needed an extra day to repay the clear coat again amd I said ok. Only to pick it up and it was like a Matted finish. Dry as hell. The shop manager said he needs to buff it when I put it on the car. Again with a clear coat you shouldn’t have to buff it to make it shine. They also ripped my weather molding while buffing the car and I’m still fighting with them to get a new one or the money for a new one.
Do your self a favor and go anywhere else for body and paint.

You’d be crazy to even try this place out!
Where do I even start.
We got into a fender bender on July 4^th weekend (I’m sure we weren’t the only ones) we called the towing company and was referred to Excel Auto Body so instead of taking the car home we decided to take it in to their shop.
The shop was closed so the owner decided to meet us there to leave the car over the weekend, my first question was how much? (as everyone’s should be!) he gave us the run arounds and told us we’d hear from them on Monday,
We didn’t get a phone call til Tuesday! Then the secretary kept making excuses on why it was no longer a ‘free estimate’, charged us for a teardown (when I didn’t consent to taking the car apart), and making it sound like my car was in bad shape even though she didn’t know jack shet about what needed to be done!
More insulting, one of their shop guys offered me 1000 to get it off my hands! Knowing well enough that the cost to repair was NOT $ 5200 worth! (I should add my boyfriend KNOWS And WORKS on cars!)
My opinion, they tried to jack up cost of repairs so they could make it seem like it wasn’t worth it so id be willing to sell it to their employee.
I was furious! And my reviews aren’t stopping here!
On the plus, we took the car to ABC Auto Body and they paid for the towing cost and told us they don’t even know how Excel quoted us at $ 5200 when it was only a $ 2500 repair!
Go elsewhere! The only reason I gave a star is because Unilocal requires you to!
