Ed’s Decatur AM PM

Let me add another reason why this particular Am Pm is awesome: they have automatic doors so you don’t have to touch any dirty door handles!

OK, why would anyone give a gas station a 5 star rating, right? I mean, it’s just a gas station, what could be so special? Well here’s the deal with Ed’s AM/​PM. They always have one of the lowest gas prices in town, plain and simple. They’re never the lowest, but on the west end of town there is rarely any station with cheaper gas including Sam’s and Costco. Usually gas prices are lower at say Nellis and Charleston by 2 – 3 cents a gallon, but that means driving to the east side of town. Do you really want to go to the east side? I doubt it! I have 5 vehicles that I fuel up on a regular basis and Ed’s makes it a lot easier on my wallet to keep gas in the tanks.
Ed’s also routinely has great deals on beer and soda. Because the Ed’s is also my closest convenience store I appreciate the deals they have. 2 liters of Coke and Pepsi products are always 2 for $ 3 and 12 or 18 packs of Coors and Bud products are usually $ 12.99 to $ 14.99.
I’ve been in this neighborhood for almost 50 years and this AM/​PM has been around for about 35 of those years. It’s always been a great place for gas a convenience store shopping and I’m sure it will continue to be a good part of the neighborhood.
