I do not recommend Elite Moving & Storage from Las Vegas. First, on the pick-up day, the Elite representative was telling me about all these extra fees I was going to be charged. Then, he told me he could do me a favor and save me about $ 400 in extra fees however he expected a tip. I thought that was not professional. Trying to move is stressful enough and I felt he took advantage of the situation. The company should stick to the quote and not surprise the customer with hidden fees. Even though Elite delivered my stuff, they were not careful with it. They took out the front tire of my bike and put it back the wrong way, damaging some parts of it. Now, I have to take my bike to the bike shop. Also, since they didn’t have enough space in their truck, the guys took the legs apart from my Ikea office desk and did not care to leave a note informing me where they placed the screws. Needless to say, I was not able to find the bolts for weeks not able to use my office desk(which is a huge inconvenience). When I called Elite customer service about this issue, the secretary said«the pick-up guys don’t remember where they put the screws.» She did not care to offer a solution. Delivery: A guy with no customer service skills contacted me on a Saturday to let me know the delivery was going to be Monday after 4pm which work out well for me. Then the same guy calls on Sunday late night to change the delivery to Monday at 10am when I specifically asked not to come at that time because no one was going to be home to receive the stuff. However, he did not care and was not flexible enough to offer another option. It was his«It’s not my problem» attitude that bothered me the most.
