I highly recommend eating here! My husband had the petite sirloin and and I had the tuna filet. They were both absolutely perfect. We also had alligator meatballs for the appetizer. The sauce on the alligator was a little overwhelming but still yummy. Finally, the service was what set this restaurant apart from the rest. Our server, Gil, was amazing. He had great recommendations and kept his eye on us the whole time. Check it out, you’ll be glad you did!

Emerils. Great restaurant and Good Atmosphere. Food is some what more commercialized than I recall eating other Emerils restaurants. But you cannot beat the experience. Tres’ Bön!

I had a late meal after Cirque de Solleil so I didn’t want to eat too much. I had a wedge salad and some soup. Both were good and the value was pretty good. Some of the other items on the menu looked like ones that deserved a return trip. For an Emeril restaurant, it seemed fairly slow but maybe the reason for it was I dined here the week of Christmas.

An evening out for dining at Emeril’s Fish House in the MGM Hotel. My experience has always been great and I could hardly wait to try some great food. The Alligator Meatballs with the Collard Greens was a new appetizer for me. I’ve eaten alligator before however, this was the best tasting alligator I’ve ever consumed. The meat with the Sauce Piquant and Creole Mustard Emulsion tasted like a spicy barbecue Salisbury steak. You have to try this, it was unbelievable. My main course was the Sweet Barbecued Organic Scottish Salmon on top of an Andouille Pork Sausage & Potato Hash with Spicy Onion Crust. This salmon is best served medium rare(per the chef’s recommendation). A fine delight with every bite. For dessert, I had the New Orleans Bread & Butter Bread Pudding. It was a sweet and buttery bread pudding that definitely hit the spot. The servers were very friendly and never allowed us to wait for anything. This is one of my favorite dining spots in Las Vegas and I will be back again soon.

I had the pleasure of eating here on a recent business trip. We had a reservation but the friendly staff seated us early. I can say through out the meal the staff where friendly and helpful. We started with the Frog legs, a first for me. The crisp coating and wonderful sauces paired wonderfully with the light flavor of the frog legs. My friend had just sides for dinner wanting to experience the New Orleans flavor. Bourbon & Brown Sugar sweet potatoes: A sweet yet savory experience. The flavor of the sweet potatoe was not overpowered by the amazing sauce. Shrimp Jambalya: Not very strong on the heat but strong on the flavor. The portion was amazing for a side. This one I recommend. Slow Braised Collard Greens: Well I did not try this I was told it was wonderful. I had the Pecan crusted Texas Rockfish. Let me say I have never liked grits until I ate them here. The grits on the bottom paired amazingly with the light flavor of the rockfish. My portion was cooked to perfection light and flaky. My first experience with an Emeril restaurant and I will be back for sure.

Emeril is the reason I fell in love with food network. After a difficult surgery, bedridden for a month, Emeril carried me through with his shows. I miss seeing him on tv… He used to be the Flay of cooking shows. Anyway… It was a dream come true to finally eat at one of his restaurants. The crab cake was perfect. The grits sublime. Étouffée was fair, and the $ 80 lobster tail was disappointing(chewy). The décor is boring in the main dining room and walls with their copper twists and cable strung art boxes were terribly dusty. The bar and entrance is charming. As far as the service, we went in the afternoon and were quite neglected. With 13 people in the room(most of them prepping table settings for the dinner service and some walking back and forth… And three behind us at the water/wait station…) I was surprised at how long we sat with empty drinks and no one noticing. Regardless of the dust and poor service, the food was great except for the over cooked lobster. I look forward to visiting New Orleans and trying some more Emeril! Even with $ 80 chewy lobster, I still adore him and hope one day I get the chance to tell him face to face how he and his shows made a terrible time in my life so much better. I posted 5 pictures but for some reason only 3 are showing up. I will try to edit this review to include the other pictures.

The food at Emeril’s was amazing, I was still thinking about my meal the next morning. The starter rolls were delicious with unique flavors. I had the three course meal. The BBQ shrimp sauce was delicious enough to eat alone and the rosemary biscuit was so flaky and tender. My steak was cooked perfectly with the roasted vegetables on the plate stealing the show. My whiskey bread pudding for dessert was the perfect amount of sweet. The service was great and definitely top end restaurant service.

After a night of drinking, Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House was tossed out as a suggestion for lunch. Six zombies and a baby wandered into a restaurant with grumbly tummies and a hunger for seafood. Sweet Corn Bisque & Maine Lobster($ 16), Pan Seared Fillet with hollandaise sauce and seafood risotto(forgot the price but it was a lunch special so it changes daily anyways), and Pecan Crusted Texas Redfish($ 37). I honestly wasn’t feeling too well so I stuck with sharing just a few items. The Sweet Corn Bisque & Maine Lobster came out first. It was everything I imagined it would be and it instantly made me feel loads better. Sweet corn bisque that melds perfectly to delicious Maine lobster. It had a couple chunks of asparagus and a cherry tomato. The cherry tomato didn’t offer much in terms to flavor to the soup so I’m thinking it was there for color and texture as were the asparagus. It was smooth and creamy and was comfort in a bowl. My main dish was the Pan Seared Fillet with hollandaise sauce on top of a seafood risotto. After my disappointing ribeye at Aria, I was hoping this would hit the spot. It did not. The fillet was cooked perfectly but there was no seasoning and not even a nice char. I pushed my plate away after eating a couple slices of the fillet and most of my risotto. That was some really excellent risotto and the hollandaise was balanced beautifully. I also got to eat a good bit of the Pecan Crusted Texas Redfish(Anson Mills Pepperjack Cheese Grits, Garden Vegetable Ratatouille with Creole Meuniere Sauce). The fish was amazing and flaky and those grits made my skirt flip. While the garden vegetable ratatouille was fresh and flavorful, I could have done without this and had more cheese grits. Hey, we’re talking cheese grits here. Can you blame a girl? Service was excellent and everything was served with perfect timing and precision. It’s a beautiful restaurant and it wasn’t too busy on a Saturday noon. It’s definitely worth taking a $ 10 Lyft from Bellagio to MGM for!

We were here for appetizers and vino at the bar. A friend ordered the jambalaya as well as some shrimp and I had the salad with shaved manchego cheese and fresh pepper on tap. My salad was fantastic… they also gave us some cornbread to try. Even though we weren’t in Nola it certainly felt like it. Awesome classy cajun cuisine! Definitely go during hh and sit at the bar. Service could have been better… we were having to flag down the server even though it was fairly empty in there before the dinner rush. If I stay at the MGM again I will for sure come back and try some other items on the menu.

Emeril-branded restaurants have disappointed me in the past. To me, they were missing that«BAM» factor that I was hoping for. Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House, however, is pretty bomb. My cousin and her husband held their wedding dinner here, and I have to say it was a memorable experience. Appetizer — Complimentary cornbread: Flavorful, moist, and dense. Appetizer — Alligator Meatballs: Thank you, Emeril, for introducing me to alligator meat, which is delicious, so move over chicken. This has a little bite to it, but it won’t kill your taste buds. Entrée — Pecan Crusted Texas Redfish: I was wavering between this and the Sweet Barbecued Atlantic Salmon. Both are excellent choices. The redfish was tender and flaky, but the grits and veggie ratatouille stole the show. Service — I have never witnessed waitstaff so synchronized when setting each diner’s entrée down all at once. Our server and his team were on point that evening. Overall — Certainly, not my last visit. Food and service were superb.

I came to Emeril’s inside the MGM Grand Hotel with my boyfriend on our last trip to Vegas. We try to go to out to one really nice dinner every time we come to Vegas. Now that there are SO many amazing and high end restaurants in Vegas, it is really hard to choose one! After looking at quite a few restaurants, this one stood out to me the most. We couldn’t have been happier with our experience. Our servers, the wine selection, and the food were fantastic. Some of my favorite things we ordered were the cheese plate and the cheesy grits! We also ordered a seafood risotto dish that had andouille sausage. Do yourself a favor and order the grits as a side dish. They are so delicious. This restaurant is beautiful. I was so happy with everything. I really enjoyed the ambiance. I just can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. We were planning on going to the Cirque du Soleil: KA show after(also located in the MGM Grand) and it was less than a 5 minute walk!

Were in need of lunch and libations after landing in Las Vegas. Conveniently Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House was located in the hotel where we were staying. Started off with a Nola Peach tea, very sweet and refreshing. Tony, our bartender, was very generous with his pours :) the drinks were a nice pairing with the fresh shucked oysters. The sides were pretty good too. The hickory smoked mac & cheese and the bourbon brown sugar sweet potatoes helped fill our hunger. The barbecued shrimp and crispy chicken were the main entrees we selected. The chicken was moist and the shrimp was very tasty. Unfortunately there was no more room left in our stomachs for dessert. Next time.

As soon as I walked in the hostess was polite and I asked her if I may sit at the bar which she said«sure». I got here on a Tuesday around 6pm and so it was not too packed but not slow either. The female bartender immediately asked if I was going to eat at the bar which I said«yes».(I’m hungry but not too hungry) I ordered a wine. They brought over some fresh bread in a couple of minutes. I didn’t even have to ask for water either.(You need it in Vegas). There’s only one TV at the bar but better than none. I ordered the gumbo which was hot/delicious. The only thing I wished for was more shrimp and more sausage in it. I had like two pieces. Lol call me cruel! Other than that it was so good. We should have ½ stars on Unilocal because not sure I should deduct an entire star for that or not. I just really wish I had even 2 more pieces of either one. The bartenders are very friendly and I looked around and didn’t hear anyone complaining about anything. I heard the bartenders make some small talk as well. I would def come back. I heard the lunch menu is different so I would like to try that. Prices are a bit steep as well but what do you expect? I must say the guy next to me which had the chicken got more than I did at woolfgang pucks last night plus he had some fingerling potatoes to go with it. I wish I had come here first but since I’m going light so I can enjoy a late night snack I went with the gumbo and a glass of wine.

The sweet corn bread they bring out for starters is yummers! Acme IPA is very light. Not my favorite. Second time here had a Ranger which was much better. Garden salad is a bit on the tart side but has some pleasant flavors. Croutons, radicchio, bib lettuce, cucumber, and a couple other unfamiliar items. The seafood gumbo is alright. Could be hotter in temperature but on the spice side it has a nice little kick. Comes with sausage, shrimp, and okra. The rice is a tad too«al dente» for me. Second trip. Corn bread still a home run. Trying the collard greens and bacon Mac n cheese. The mac n cheese is really tasty with a nice crust. Nice sharpness but not too sharp. Greens taste great. They are meant to be shared. The Mac is a bit smaller. Staff has been great.

Happy Hour Daily 2 – 6, 9:30 to close One of the better happy hours in MGM. I’ve worked my way through the whole happy hour menu. My favorite drinks are the Bam Drop and Sammy’s Rum Punch. For food I like the clam chowder, gumbo and fried shrimp. They have scaled back the happy hour menu recently. They have taken off the fried oysters and bbq shrimp which were my fave. Service is usually good but have had a few hiccups. Issac the bar manager is wonderful. He has been there since the restaurant opened 20 years ago. He is super friendly and always makes sure we are taken care of.

**Restaurant Week Menu** and some regular menu items: I’ve been here in the past, and a group of friends and I decided to come here for the last day of Restaurant Week. This is probably my favorite place to go for Restaurant Week and here’s why: Comes with a 3 course meal for $ 50.15. I ordered the shrimp Andouille sausage gumbo, flat iron steak, banana crème pie, and a latte. Also tried some seared ahi tuna, creole fries, broiled oysters with parmesan, and alligator meatballs for fun. We started off with cornbread and butter. The cornbread was sweet, and I’m always happy when the butter I get is spreadable(because it doesn’t happen often). Typically for Restaurant Week, venues provide smaller portions of their menu for you to try. Not this place. I had a full portion of gumbo to start. Between the cornbread and gumbo, I thought I wasn’t going to have any room for steak or dessert. Somehow I managed. :D Anyways, the gumbo had the perfect amount of salt. It includes shrimp, okra, rice, and andouille sausage. Very savory, hearty, and delicious. The seared ahi tuna was drizzled in ponzu sauce and came with a side of creole fries. We also ordered broiled oysters with Parmesan. It was cooked perfectly. It was served on a bed of sea salt and red peppercorns, but the oysters were already seasoned enough. Expensive($ 3.50 ea), but it was very good. The alligator meatballs came with a small amount of collard greens. Interesting flavor. Wasn’t bad. I think it lacked some flavor. When I ordered flat iron steak from the Restaurant Week menu, I was expecting small flat iron steak, but nooooo. This steak was large, thick, and juicy! It was cooked exactly how I wanted: medium rare. The steak was drizzled in some red sauce and came with a side of sauteed onions, a couple of cloves of garlic, and fried mushrooms. I wasn’t a fan of the fried mushrooms, but the steak was very tender and juicy. I only had room for half the steak. Last, I got the banana crème pie. OMG, this is probably my favorite dessert… right next to crème brûlée! Come to think of it, I think this banana crème pie outranks crème brûlée in my book. I inhaled it. Also finished with a latte. They serve my favorite coffee brand: Illy. Came in a cute cup that had the perfect portion of latte. It was also served a little warmer than room temperature, but that’s how I like my coffee/lattes anyway. Overall, I had a great Restaurant Week experience here. All the items in the Restaurant Week menu are also available on the regular menu. It was awesome that they served them in full sized portions. I am definitely a fan of Emeril’s!

This is one of the restaurants located in the beautiful and spacious MGM hotel. While the restaurants in the MGM hotel are«open» because you can see the gaggle of crowds walking by, this place still gives a nice intimate feel. I came here with about 5 – 6 coworkers and we were able to have nice dinner conversation. What I ordered: –Seafood gumbo: This had a nice kick to it and had a good amount of seafood and veggies to it. I really liked it and wanted another plate, but decided not to. –Seafood pan roast — a good amount of seafood and sausage. It wasn’t the largest portion and I thought it could have been bigger, but everything went well together. From the fish to the mussels to the sausage, it was an explosion of flavours. Overall, if you have the budget, this is a great place to try in Vegas.
