Why anyone would pay for services and sign up before the gym is open is beyond me! But I have been waiting since December to sign up. It’s close to my house and most importantly has childcare while I workout. I am getting married in May and need to hit the gym asap! I have already pushed back my workouts a month. I need the machines to tone up! There is only so much you can do at home. Plus I was looking forward to the tanning package they offer as well and a nice squeaky clean gym. Well, I cannot wait until March. I need to find a place asap that can watch my baby while I workout. My community has an awesome gym but no childcare or tanning. Sooo as disappointed as I am, I mist take my business elsewhere. Now when they ever do open if they would like to pay all the fees I am about to incur while signing up somewhere else, then I will switch back to EOS. Until then, I won’t hold my breath.

The ONLY reason I left LVAC was because this gym is closer to my house(blue diamond and El Capitan). Like many others, I canceled my membership at LVAC because this place was supposed to be open in January, then that changed to middle of February. Just opened my email to find out they won’t be opening until March.

DONOTJOINTHISGYM! After the gym opening was pushed back THREETIMES(with no notice from them, by they way — although they did manage to send me spam SMS messages at all hours of the night asking me to refer friends!), I decided to cancel my membership and get a refund — as the sales person assured me I could do at the time I signed up in the event that the gym didn’t open at the promised time. I called the membership center to cancel and get a refund. They gave me an 800 number to call. I called the 800 number(to «Jonas Fitness»??) and spoke to someone who gave me a SECOND number to call. This second company was ABC Financial, and it took over 20 minutes(during which they«verified my account» by asking for virtually every piece of information possible) to cancel the account. To actually get a refund of the amount I paid(for a gym which I’ll now never use), they of course sent me BACK to the membership center. They deliberately make the cancellation process as obnoxious as possible, in the hope of deterring you from doing it — which is a shady practice, but fairly common among gyms. But the people in charge of this gym have been awful — they promised the gym would be available by a certain date and failed to deliver. When they postponed the opening(multiple times), they couldn’t be bothered to even tell the people whose money they’d already taken. I received freaking SPAMSMS from this place(from a totally different salesperson I hadn’t even met) asking me to help them get money out of other people. The management here is, at best, truly incompetent and, at worst, deliberately deceptive and inconsiderate of customers. Go down the road to LVAC — it’s just a few minutes away, it’s a nicer gym with more amenities(based on what I’ve seen of the designs for eos durango), and it’s comparably priced. Oh, and they’ve been open for a while, so the LVAC management probably isn’t nearly as incompetent as the EOS management(why should you suffer awful customer service while the EOS people apparently learn the basics of running a gym?). p. s.EOS: stock photos really aren’t helpful at all.

DONOTJOINTHISGYM. They’ve pushed back the opening date THREE times already, after most people cancelled their other gym memberships. I called several times and asked to speak to a manager, coincidentally they’re never there. I also asked for a manager to call me back, they never do. They clearly have extremely unethical business practices and won’t last long in Vegas. If I could give them zero stars I would. By the way, their sign up deals are bull****.

I will re-review once open, but this review is for signing up… They, aka the manager, was not forthcoming with information, just wanted me to sign-up. I confirmed that if I change my mind after signing up I would«be refunded, if canceled before the opening».(which was a lie, as you automatically forfeit the $ 9.95 for January, despite the fact they are opening in February) Most importantly!!! They have you sign the contact without reading it or even being told your signatures are for the contract, which is illegal. «OH! I just need you to sign… Opps one more time…» If you chose to sign up, make sure you’ve done your homework and research the other locations, and if there is any doubts do NOT sign the e-sign connected to the computer, and demand to review the contract prior to signing. I hope corporate sees this. What happened to me, and others, is quick way for a law suit.

Typical gym pre-opening hype. $ 9.95 a month… sorta… $ 40 annual dues… OK $ 13.33 a month… maybe… want to use anything but some machines, weights, and showers…$ 19.99 a month… oh yeah… don’t forget $ 40 a year dues… and only if you sign up 6 months before you can even actually see the gym… wait until you see the gym… higher prices… not what I’d call a bargain… and what are you supposed to do during those six months… go somewhere else… sounds like a good idea!!!
