I requested a quote and this company had a competitive price to move my belongings to another state, unfortunately after reading the reviews, the negative experiences from other customers and the various information on the internet regarding the shadiness of this company, I’m going to extend my budget and use a moving company with more positive reviews. I would be devastated if I hired a company that uses a «bait and switch» business tactics or carelessly broke my things.

If you use this company this is just some of the issues you will have to deal with besides broken items and waiting 2 weeks for your items that are promised in 3 days.

They do NOT event deserve one star!
If you want your price to be doubled last minute even thought you had a binding contract-​go with them.
If you like being talked down to and lied to then ask for Alex!
If you want half of your belongings to be damaged, scratched, broken or lost-​go with them.
If you have 15 hours to waste watching two scrawny movers carry your goods into your home-​go with them.
If you like waiting 8 days to get your goods when they said it would be 4 – 6 days-​then go with them!
This is the worst moving company EVER!
We will be proceeding with legal action!
DO NOT use this company for a long distance move-​complete Disaster!

I would like to thank the folks at express van lines for their service. they gave me a good price and moved my stuff across the USA. while it took a little longer than expected, the service rep. Jason in the phoenix office did his best to update me on the status of the shipment.
The delivery was made by a contractor of BVL that was not only nice and helpful he was super funny.

Negative 5 stars! I will just say «ditto» to all the other reviews. You’d think these people would be run out of town by now. Driver wanted to come three days early. I finally agreed and he then cancelled — by text at 10:25 p.m. the night before. Begged me to let him do a personal inventory to make sure «there was room in truck» and charged me more after looking at my house and thinking I had more $$$. The items to be moved are in my garage and it’s a very small load — just a sofa, bed and some tables. I think he «cased the joint» when he asked to use the bathroom and decided on increasing the charges. Even though I had removed some of the items!!!
On the day of my scheduled move, I had no word from the sales person and finally called him. Told him I didn’t have money to pay the extra almost $ 500 and that unless he was willing to just take enough for the original bid I’d be cancelling. He told me I’d be doing him a favor by getting off his back! After I cancelled, the driver called that same night at 7 p.m. and wanted to come over and load up in a Penske truck!
I took a one-​day breather and started recontacting the other companies from whom I had quotes, making sure I personally spoke with each «adviser» just to see if he or she would be courteous. Wish me luck!

If searching for good customer service, this is not the company for you.

Worst moving experience ever. They have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The movers were not careful and rude. The «head» mover was very shady and disrespectful. Nothing out of his mouth was professional once the contract was signed.
After they get your contract the last thing they seem to care about is you. It was one excuse after another as to why it was taking twice as long to get our things as they said it would. The office does not return calls. We had originally contracted through Worldwide Vanlines who apparently subcontracted these guys. Our things sat 3 hours from our new house for more than a week!
Our things arrived on the day that the contract stated if they were any later would be a breach. As they unloaded our things we noticed many dings and scratches. Dining table was cracked, ping pong table had lost 3 wheels, my new $ 800+ barbecue grill was severely damaged, plasma TV was damaged and unusable, and those were just a few. They ended up delivering items that were not ours but didn’t want to take them back.
Their claims department is the biggest joke ever! Two years and I’m still dealing with it.
STAY AWAY! I would also not use Worldwide Vanlines as they are the ones who subcontracted this company

If I could give NO STARS I would. Worst moving company — ever. Supposed to come Sat. or Sun., driver calls Wed. night and says he’s coming the next day. Problem is also — he is calling the number where the goods are being move to, not from! I call, say he’s supposed to come on Sat., and he tells me, «I’ll be in Mexico Saturday!» When I tell him we are not ready, that we had two more days, he says, «Don’t be stressed. Life’s too short.» So he comes Thursday morning, anyway. Looks over inventory — we removed two file cabinets, added 3 totes and two pictures. He says there will be additional cost, he can’t fit it all on the truck now, all kinds of things. Then he says everything has to be in a box, so they will have to box more things. And he wants $ 100 to shrink wrap my couch and chair — furniture that is over ten years old! I tell him no, he can just cover it with a moving blanket. Then he tells me that anything we packed, he’s not responsible for. When my husband calls, and I am saying we’re not paying more, he storms out and drives away, leaving me with no mover. USA Moving Group brokered the movers, says now they can come Sun or Mon, but we close Monday, so they have to come Sun. I told them not to send the same company.

TOTAL SCAM ARTISTS. They will guarantee your cost of the move. I even had a contract which clearly states: Binding quote not to exceed $…(the cost they quoted). When they came and picked up my things from a storage unit, they made us sign a packing list before the packing of anything. After with very little packing on there part, they charged $ 1000.00. Then after it was loaded on their truck said the cost would be double. I said I had a binding quote and they said they would only deliver half. I asked before I contracted with them if they used their own trucks and they said yes. That was not true, they subbed the job out. They offered additional insurance, but when calling the number in the brochure they supplied was not able to purchase. So much of my things were destroyed and damaged it was sickening. They were rude. They have had many changes to their corporation. I made the mistake of not investigating and checking them out on the computer before hiring them. They basically held my things hostage unless I agreed to their price and would then only accept cash. They were very threatening and said they dealt with bigger cockroaches than me. These people are not who you want to deal with if you value your property. Check them out online. I would never never never recommend them.
