Waked in one morning, a but of a wait my don did bit want to cut his hair here I should have listened. I said well it can’t be that bad they have great reviews on Unilocal.Well got a razor fade which was really bad, left the place (paid and tipped) went down to the street to boulder highway $ 8 hair cut and the lady laughed she said where’d you get that haircut walmart? Will definitely not be going back here. Looking for a good barber on the east side.
I have to drive 35 min to my old barber until I find a good one on thus side of town.

Bottom line up front: I don’t recommend this place if you want a clean haircut.
The shop was the standard small shop I expected. The two barbers were nice but seemed to be in no rush to get to me. My haircut was ok when I looked at it in the mirror. When I washed my hair after I found that there were a few areas that need to be fixed. It’s partially my fault I suppose since in the mirror it looked fine, normally the barber has the experience to know to comb your hair to make sure all areas are cut evenly.

Got a great cut — was a bit disappointed when I went back and they were closed for 5 days over Thanksgiving (I was leaving on a cruise). I have been back and will continue to go back.

Gave me the exact cut i asked for
$ 13 for a men’s cut extremely reasonable in the vegas area.
Friendly barbers
Use metal clipper shields so you get the length you ask for unlike the plastics you find at the chain chop shops.

This place is great!
It has a great old barbershop feel, tons of nostalgic pictures and old ads, and a wonderful staff of barbers.
My haircut turned out great and I got some great conversation in the process.
If you need a haircut or a straight razor shave and don’t want the «stuffy» chain salon feel, this is the place for you!
Note: they don’t accept credit cards for payment, so be sure to bring cash or be ready to use the atm at the bar nextdoor.
pros: great staff, great cut, and cool looking shop.
Cons: haircut was super quick, so the conversation had to stop ;) I could have stayed and chatted for hours!

The Flamingo East Barbershop near the corner of Boulder Highway and Flamingo doesn’t have an usual name, but it has three superb barbers. But that’s not the primary reason I drive an extra ten miles to go get my hair cut at Eloy’s establishment. This barbershop has a loyal and diverse fan base and there are some notable characters who frequent the shop. I hear some of the best «Vegas» stories and always look forward to my hair cut. In addition, Eloy Maestas is the Treasurer for the Nevada State Barber’s Health and Sanitation Board, and there is a constant flow of new barbers stopping by to complete their paperwork. It’s truly a fun place get one’s ears lowered.
