Not really much of a drinker or to get drunk but this place Definitely got my attention with all the tropical drinks and service can’t really complain I just wish there was more room to walk or to drink. It gets always packed after 7 or 8pm.

Classic Las Vegas. Great spot. I bring all my out-of-towners friends here. The décor, music, and especially the drinks give a weekend feeling away from everyone and everything. A staple in Las Vegas for us locals that visit almost every month. My only complain is an asian lady that really should have chosen a different profession. She acts like her job is more important than the customers? Frankie’s Tiki Room over shadows that anyday. I collect the decorative drink glasses they are so much fun long after you left this hidden gem.

Where do I start? I heard positive things about this place, so I stopped in. As I sat down I was approached by a female bartender. I told her I heard good things about this place, and I asked her what was the house specialty. She handed me a drink menu and then headed down the rail. As she was going by I tried to engage her to ask about any happy hour specials, she seemed to be more interested in texting on her phone than answering any questions I may have. I ordered a drink and proceeded to game at the bar. She never returned to ask me how my drink was or if she can get me anything else. Since I had enough of this poor service, I stood up to let her(Tawnya) know I was ready to pay out. I asked her if they comp drinks for playing and she told me no not Hurricanes. I asked her why my reciept said 9.00 instead of 8:00 she told me when she served it to me, she replied, mine doesn’t get the dollar off special. I had enough with her I don’t give a damn attitude about customer service and told her I worked in the industry and there’s more to bartending than making drinks. I told her she had alot to learn about customer service, she said she didnt. As I Was leaving, She Said«Don’t let the door hit you in the ass on your way out». I decided to re-enter and ask for her manager, she said Thier wasn’t one, I asked for the managers name, she refused to give it to me. I have never been spoken to in this manner by a service provider. The bartenders name was Tawnya, she was rude and the worst bartender I’ve encountered so far here in Las Vegas. PT.2 I attempted to call this bar and speak with a manager, this morning. Employee answered and told me we don’t give that information out, he doesn’t know who I am. I told him a had a bad experience there and would like to discuss it with a manager. I told him part of what occurred and he said, «What did I do to upset the female bartender». I told him I had one drink and gamed, and told her I was not happy with the service. He told me they are not a corporate bar and they can tell a guest anything they want, if they feel provoked. I told him I couldn’t believe that’s how they provide customer service at this bar. The male who answered the phone then hung up on me. If your looking for good customer service and good drinks, this isn’t the place. If the staff feels like treating you like crap, they can without recourse. The building didn’t treat me bad or the cocktail, it was the bartender. The employee refused to give me any information on when the manager would be in??? They protect each other from complaints. I Hope the management reads these evaluations and cares about providing every customer with a positive experience.

Ok I’m totally not going to lie, we were already drunk before our taxi dropped us off here… so I can’t remember which drink I chose. I do know however it was fabulous. This spot is one I’ve always wanted to visit when coming to Vegas and never have. I will definitely be back. The bartender was awesome, as I said above great drinks and also good conversation. Very laid back and fun spot. The ambiance was dark and swanky. Loved the tiki themed décor. It’s not a big place, but super comfy. Oh and don’t forget your tiki glass! It’s an extra charge, but you need one. Shoot. I’m gonna collect them all.

I had to come here, especially since after my scathing review of «Golden Tiki,» its owner called me a «woman who hasn’t been laid,» and told me I was an idiot, and told me I was a paid reviewer paid for by Frankie’s Tiki Room. I’m not paid to write anything, although I should be. Regardless, Frankie’s puts Golden Tiki to shame. Here’s why: — The drinks actually taste good, AND they get you totally shitty. I had one drink and was hammered. At Golden Tiki they told me that cocktails are supposed to taste like booze. They’re not. That means you suck at making a cocktail. — The bartender, Mike, made the drink while quad pouring(!!!) within seconds. At Golden Tiki you wait a long time for your drinks. — The bar is dark as hell, which is great. You’d have to be a total weirdo to prefer a well lit bar. Everyone’s ugly as hell, why would you want to see them? — The music is louder. — The décor is cooler. Golden Tiki has Christmas lights on the ceiling, though. The only thing I would warn you about is that you will smell like a smoked cigarette when you leave here. I’ll be back, Frankie’s!

One of my favorite spots in town! Cozy, little joint decked out with some of the neatest décor, making it — in my opinion — the best tiki bar in Vegas. Sure, it’s very small inside, but I think that adds to the aesthetic! The bartenders are always a delight and are quick to serve you a tasty drink — but don’t be fooled by the pretty-colored juices & fruity garnish, their specialty drinks are SERIOUS. You can tell how strong each drink is by the number of skulls shown by the description on the menu — 5 being the strongest! My personal favorites are the Fink Bomb & the Kahiki Kai.

Amazing drinks, awesome décor and close, intimate seating/lighting…five stars except… You can’t breathe inside the fucking bar because everyone smokes!!! One cig lit up in this place smells like 10 due to the small size of the bar. The place is way too tiny and poorly ventilated to allow people to smoke. If you’re a smoker and you light up a cig in a bar that’s NOT a casino or connected to a casino, you’re just an asshole. So if you hate inhaling 2nd hand smoke DONTCOMEHERE even though it’s awesome. If you don’t mind, congratufuckinglations, this spot is for you! Word of advice to the owner, it’s a 3 foot walk to the door. Make people smoke outside for the sake of everyone else. That way they get their fix and you don’t run off the rest of us!

I always enjoy myself at Frankie’s Tiki Bar, it is dark and a chill spot to get a great stiff drink! I always go for a 5 skull rating drink. I like a strong alcoholic drink and they know how to sock it to me! One of my favorite drinks is the 5 skull rated Zombie. It is strong and delicious! The Bartenders and staff are on point as they know how to provide a great experience! I will be back many more times!

Ok… This place is awesome! Simply put… If you’re into Tiki, curious about Tiki or just want to try something different. GO! NOW! I’m currently trying every cocktail on their menu, and even the drinks with 3 Skulls are strong! After 2 Zombies I’m feeling it. Great place… Now only if they can get more mugs! ;)

This place makes such strong drinks that I accidentally posted my Qdoba chicken bowl review from a meal on the drive in from CA. Unilocalers you know how it is on a trip. After a few drinks you remember you need to finish a previous review. Well I’m my rum haze I didn’t notice that I pasted my Qdoba review. The Unilocal staff sent me a message a few months later saying my review didn’t match the type of place. That made the place even more fun. The thing that stands out about this place is the variety and service. I asked a question about the 160 proof flavored rum that was a floater(Fink bomb?) on my drink. Not only did the bartender tell me that it was from the Czech Republic and that it was more of a schnapps; but do to rules there it only needed to be 5% sugarcane. Between that and them having the high prof Jamaican rum I like I was in for a great few hours of chatting and boozing in a dark and charming bar not over run by tourists.(Even though I was a tourist)

As far as Tiki Bars go, this is pretty hard to beat. It’s dimly lit, there’s bamboo thatch over the bar, carved Moa heads in the corner, as well as funky island kitsch playing on the TVs and over the sound system. All boxes are checked, we are go for tiki. If the décor didn’t get you going, then look at the drink menu, because that’s also appropriately island laden and tiki festooned. Rum is the spirit of the tiki, and features prominently in just about every concoction. They even sell commemorative mugs you can sip your libation out of and take with you just to prove how cool you are to your friends. Beyond all this though, I have to say that I really like the bartenders here, too. They know their cocktails, and you can order a decidedly non-tiki drink like a vodka and soda and they won’t browbeat you for ordering a non-thematic drink. All in all, this is one of my fave bars. If you pick the wrong night at the wrong time you’ll be hard pressed for space, as it’s kind of a popular place.

You’ll need to let your eyes adjust after walking inside during the daylight hours. Just wait and let the tiki bar décor emerge slowly out of the darkness like a Quentin Tarantino movie. The drinks are powerful. The tiki mugs are for sale($ 25) and they’ll be nice enough to fill it with one of their signature cocktails like the«Bearded clam» or a «Thurston Howl». With the strong drinks and a little help from subliminal-Hula imagery from the TVs behind the bar you’ll be transported to Fantasy Island in 1978. Make sure to eat something before you arrive because you’ll probably extend your tropical mid-day vacation, and also because they don’t serve food.

I love me a tiki bar… love me good tiki bar even more. This one didn’t disappoint one bit. The drinks kinda creep up on you since they are strong but sweet… I really was expecting a busy bar but it was mostly a handful of locals and a few outta towners… but everyone was chill and was just enjoying their drinks. Prices were good, the only drawback was that it’s very smokey… like I had to bring out my inhaler more than once. But it’s Vegas… so you kinda deal with it… I’ll definitely be back… and I’ll splurge for that keepsake cup.

In A Nutshell: –This is a nice spot for all you Hawaiian lovers. –They have a ton of mixed cocktails you can try and they are pretty darn strong and cheap! –All the IPA’s are boring in Vegas EXCEPT here, they have my favorite, Ballast Point Sculpin IPA — it was sold out fast though. –The layout is cozy with enough space to kick it at the bar and mingle. –The bartenders are all super cool, attentive and know their drinks. Overall, I’ll definitely come back again.

I love dive bars and strong tropical drinks therefore I love Frankie’s Tiki Room. It’s typical Polynesian themed inside with tiki statues and artwork everywhere. It’s dark upon entering and takes your eyes a few minutes to adjust(ok they never really do). I tell myself that women over 35 look better in dim or candle light anyway :-) The bartenders are friendly and the crowd is an eclectic mix of young hipsters to older, well dressed couples. It gets busy in here after 8pm even on a weeknight. Drinks are all $ 9 and are denoted by skulls for potency(drunkness factor). I’ve been here twice and will definitely be making this a part of my regular rotation.

Very chill place to hang out. They have a lot of nice mugs you can collect that come with the specified drink. Or you can order some other drink and request a mug. They don’t really have weak drinks and the menus will tell you how strong each drink is. I’m becoming a regular here and I always bring my out-of-town guests here.

I have been here couple of times. It is just one room, dark, intimate with a tiki ambiance. You want to get there early. The drinks are pretty strong and good. The menu shows the strength of each drink and the ratings are pretty accurate. How strong the drink is rated by the number of skulls. I don’t remember what we ordered. You can also get the drinks on their souvenir Tiki heads. I have not had any food there so cannot comment on the food. This place is like a hole in the wall but a fun place to hang out. The staff are nice and helpful.

A cool little joint. This is probably my favorite place to day drink. Killer drinks, oh and when I say killer, I mean KILLER. These cocktails will mess you up! The drinks are sweet but carry a serious punch. The lethality of the cocktails is measured in skulls, from 3 — I’m hella buzzed to 5 — Somebody is going to need to drive me home if I have another one. The place carries a dim, low key atmosphere with beautiful statues and other tikki inspired decorations everywhere. You can get your drinks in funky souvenir mugs for extra $$, the drinks are very reasonably priced. It seems to get a lot more busy during the night, the little parking lot was packed and people park in the gas station next door. This is an awesome place to pre-game or day drink, the atmosphere makes you feel like it’s night all the time.

Frankie’s is so much fun! It looks kind of sketchy form the outside, it’s just a white building next to a gas station, but when you get inside, is nothing but pure 70’s looking Tiki magic! The staff is super friendly and the place is decorated with the weirdest tackiest shit, from fish nets to bamboo walls Frankie’s is the perfect place to have one of those ridiculously looking but delicious fruity rum drinks with umbrellas and crazy fruit on them. They have an amazing menu with so many drinks! And it’s very cool because they basically have a system to explain how messed up you are going to get if you drink them by the number of skulls shown below the name, don’t get fulled by the fruity flavor, the drinks are super strong. You can also pick between a regular drink served on a glass or pay a bit extra for the souvenir cups that are super cool, it could be a hula dancer or a Tiki statue.(They also have a happy hr, I believe is $ 1 off drinks) The crowd is very cool and laid back too, lots of artsy people and pin-up looking gals. I think Frankie’s has it’s own cult following. If I lived in Vegas I would absolutely be a regular.
