First time coming to this place and loved it. The best part was the lady in the women’s bathroom, she was helping everyone out whether it meant freshening you up with gum, perfume and so on or helping people when they were sick. This woman is the reason this place gets 5 stars!!!

Ghost bar is awful!!! Went there twice and both times I had issues. A) I vape, and everyone was smoking cigarettes all around me, but I was told i couldn’t use my vape… I didn’t go for a few months cuz I was so mad. B) I finally decided to give them a another chance so the second time I go, my husband was sitting down so I was dancing around him and I had security come up to me yet again to tell me I couldn’t do that! But everyone on the dance floor was twerking and grinding so i was mad as hell to say the least. Drinks are too expensive and the DJ kinda sucks. Also, I was VIP both times and still got treated like crap. Never again

We decided to give Ghostbar another shot tonight. We show up for the advertised 8 – 10 happy hour at about 8:30 and we were told there was a private party until 9:30. Ok, so we went to the center bar and had an amazing bartender named Tina. She was awesome and spent a lot of money there. We went Ghostbar at 9:45 and we were told we still could not go up because of the party. Seriously? You told us 9:30. Finally, 10:00 we went back and we’re finally told we could go up. The girl at the front door and the security guard told us we were not allowed to bring vapors upstairs. Are you kidding me? So you are saying people are allowed to smoke cigarettes but we can not vape up there? We had to take them back to the car. Ridiculous. We get upstairs to find maybe 15 people up there. The DJ Was horrible, I believe he said his name was Shauny Mac. He played the same songs twice a few times within the hour and half we were there. It was truly a joke of a venue. Between all of the bull we will not be back. We don’t mind paying a lot of money for drinks for a quality venue. Drinks were way overpriced for a venue of this caliber. We should have stayed at center bar, we would have had a better time.

From 4÷16÷16 Came to Ghost Bar for a friend and my birthday. Ghost Bar is located on the 55th floor at the Palms Casino. Before you come here make sure you’re on a guest list otherwise you will have a hard time getting in. Once upstairs, you see an okay size dance floor, the bar, and lounge areas, but the highlight is that rooftop– simply gorgeous! It’s basically worth the drink prices(give or take $ 13-$ 15, and 5 shots that cost my group $ 65) for the amazing experience you’ll have at this club.

Great views and even a glass hole in the floor on the balcony! Very upper class, if you look around you’ll see a lot of 21 year old Donald Trumps. Not my crowd at all, drinks and expensive and the music is bad. We used a groupon and got a free drink so that helped a bit: D nothing is stopping that terrible music though! The DJ should really take a hard look at his life and then think about ending it all. In summary, great views and bring earplugs!!! 3 out of 5 http://Http://www.ginkosolutions.com

I’ve actually been going to this place for years and have been a loyal customer to the palms, i was celebrating my bday and since I was staying at the Palms, «why go to a crowded club where it might take forever to get in?» So stay in my hotel n enjoy the place there, right… wrong!!! The security people are super rude they let me in but my Boyfriend had to wait for over 30mins obviously I didn’t leave him so I waited as well. So disappointed especially since I was a guest there, we should have first priority. Every time I go to vegas I stay at the palms or hard rock and after tht experience I will never go bk f’them!!! So many other hotels tht i can go to, thank you for opening up my options… super over priced and this place is overrated.

Definitely not a good place for locals like«Myself» I was there over the weekend to celebrate my friends b-day and I wasn’t impressed at all… The view is pretty amazing…(I mean who doesn’t love Las Vegas view specially at night). Back to GhostBar not my type of music …(Hip-Hop) all night long… The drinks are expensive about $ 27.00 each and the place it’s pretty crowed… Btw ladies pay $ 20.00 dls to get in, as usual security never the nicest … My tip to you is: if you do decide to come here please make sure your I. D is not expired otherwise they won’t let you in.

An OK spot, not crowded, nice enough staff(hostess, security, promoters), but the music –SUCKS! TERRIBLE! Felt like I was at a wedding most of the night. Drinks, of course overpriced and gratuity is outrageous(for bottle service)!! I usually go to Vegas a few times a year. Will probably look for something different next time.

This stunning location offers so much I hope I don’t miss anything! Starting with a stunning staff of friendly helpful engaging people from the Host to the security and the bar staff to the DJ you will be smiling from the moment you get there. Travel upto the top to fine a luxurious bar with VIP seating and some of the most amazing views you will ever see of the city! Great for«grown ups» who want a higher end lounge experience! Thanks for such a great Introduction Christian!

This bar — and I say bar because it’s not much of a club, more to follow — is often on the free Vegas guest lists because it’s a) off strip and b) doesn’t get the headliners the major clubs, say the Hakkasan group does. However, I really think everyone should visit this place at least once. I’ve always been intrigued since my MTV Real World days. What’s cool about it is it’s on the 55th floor of the Palms, there is an outdoor patio with two warmers, and breathtaking views of the Strip. There is a glass floor where you can look down and for photo ops if you dare. On the night we went, the place was pretty dead. But because it’s frequently comped, drink vouchers are easy to come by. And I would take up the free drinks because a Redbull and Vodka will run you $ 18. There was a house DJ who was spinning Top 40 tunes. A couple of the girls we were talking to said it was popping the night before, with Michael Jackson’s dad even showing up. There are bottle service tables, and on a evening such as ours, they still had ‘Reserved’ signs on the booths. It’s really a sad attempt to hype up the place. There are booths that you can actually sit at and there are places to sit outside as well. The crowd is older, think more 40s, though there were people in their 20s but they were very few and in between. I guess I can appreciate this place as more of a lounge, but leave your typical nightclub expectations at the door. The bathrooms were very clean with an attendant who seemed to have every perfume under the sun and even flip flops for when your dancing feet get tired.

Lollll how the mighty fall. This place wanted to charge guys $ 20 and girls $ 10 after midnight and we were hotel guests. It was our friend’s birthday so when the bouncer said that we were going away because we didn’t want to pay, he let us in. When we got up there what a motley crew it was. The DJ was absolutely terrible, playing 80s music that wasn’t that cool and horribly transitioning it to a new song abruptly. Horrible weaves and sweatsuits abounded this particular night. Extra star for the view, but I won’t go back.

LOLOMG, our day club experience escalated quickly we started the day meeting a cool security guy and security girl then we met super cool bartender who gave my friend a bingbong(the elephant from InsideOut) straw along with her unicorn drink then we met a nice lady who works in the bathroom then we meet a purple unicorn(guy in a costume) then people start feeding us mcdonalds cheeseburgers then me and my friends were encouraged to kneel in a kiddy pool for some reason and ended up soaking wet via champagne shower… later those photos were on gbdc’s facebook overall: it starts as a mild mannered day club, not crowded at anytime, nice fresh air and a view of the side of the strip, very clean and nice décor. before you know it there will be people going wild and streamers everywhere. this is a great alternative in the winter when beach clubs aren’t available, so take advantage of your time and go!

WHAT A JOKE… place is the size of my room. Over priced drinks served in plastic cups. The bar sux, servers sucked. There was a pimp with his 2 hookers soliciting people by the bar, yet security choose to yell at a middle aged man for dancing with his wife, and spinning her around??? wtf

Oh, Zappos. The night of the 2016 Holiday Party, we found out all Zapponians and their guests received free entrance to the Ghostbar. Everyone was giddy and excited and I had no idea what they were talking about. After the party, we all stood in line and waited for what sounded like a VIP-experience. The hostess was a bitch. Flat out, this was my first-moment experience, and I was not impressed. She asked how many were in my party, I told her 4, with two Zappos IDs. She said, «Listen, I don’t care how many Zappos IDs you have, because we didn’t even know your entire company was showing up until you did.» Whoa. Even if there was a miscommunication somewhere, you’ve still got thousands of people flooding through your door purchasing alcohol and texting their friends, posting on IG, snapchatting their experience. In other words, you’re welcome for the free advertisement that comes with the money our company paid you for our entrance. Seriously. After passing through perma-bitchface, you ride an elevator to the top. It’s spacious and moves quickly, also — I was pretty drunk so it could actually be tiny and slow. The bar is gorgeous. I mean absolutely beautiful — and we didn’t spend much time inside. We walked promptly to the main attraction. The outdoor area which sticks out off the side of the Palms parallel to the street, but SOFARUPINTHEAIR. So we ran outside. Me, my husband, our two massage therapists, and my un-Godly fear of heights. It’s beautiful. Never before have I seen a more breathtaking view of our incredible city. You can see from N Vegas to Henderson, Red Rock to the eastside. It’s huge, it’s sparkling, bustling and alive. It’s phenomenal. I couldn’t stop looking. It was like I wasn’t afraid to be there at all. I kept looking back and forth, recording different versions on my phone… awesome. There’s even a little section of the ‘floor’ that is suuuuuper thick acrylic so you can see down below you — looking at the cars that will catch you when the Ghostbar snaps off of of the Palms and you fall to your death. It’s quite charming. Will I go back? Probably not. We’re not the Ghostbar-type, although we have some friends coming into town who have never been here before. That hostess is still a bitch.

This is a review for the day club. I was here for a friend’s bday party, and honestly I had a pretty good time. The servers were all super friendly but I’m pretty sure it’s because we had a table. The DJ was good and the dance floor was very active.

I guess this place was THE place to be back in the days? I was told by some locals that I was crazy for not having been here. We got lucky, and got a free admission into the bar due to watching a boxing match a couple hours earlier. I don’t know what the hype is, but, it was a bit overrated for me. The outdoor patio, is cool and all, but, I can get the same view from a high hotel floor area, or there’s the Standard in DT Los Angeles that overlooks the city and has way cooler stuff going on. That place is a bit old news too, but I“m just saying. Nice posh place, fancy shmancy prices for cocktails, and a view but a small area at best. I don’t know if I’d ever pay $ 20 cover for ladies and $ 30 cover for men to get in here. Even if it were free, I’d probably pick somewhere else to go. It’s def cool to check out once, but I got there and left within 30 minutes.

Ghost bar isn’t empty from being haunted. I was excited to check this place out because, well someone recommended going there and my Unilocal senses weren’t tingling. Couple things Positives– Easy to get in free Could be cool Great view of the strip Negatives– Bartender was rude No dancing because no people I am actually confident the DJ used the playlist from JustDance 2014 for a ten minutes… They make an appointment for you to come at 10:30pm… Which we are noticing a trend… They are trying to collect people at that time. Regardless must see the view once in your life, but beyond that… I’ll be okay.

First thing’s first: my review is strictly for the Ghost Bar Day Club(GBDC). I went on «Bring Your Own Theme» day with a friend. I love an excuse to dress up in costume, and GBDC was calling my name. I got us both in with comped entry by RSVP’ing through Las Vegas Weekly’s guest list. The RSVP was supposed to come with a complimentary drink, but since we arrived later around 3:30PM, they ran out of the wristbands for this sweet promo. :(Ah well, you snooze you lose. Unfortunately, probably less than half of the people in attendance were actually in costume. Party poopers! This didn’t affect the fun factor of GBDC though. The place had an upbeat, exciting vibe and there were plenty of people on the dance floor. It was surprisingly easy to get a drink. Our bartender was friendly and quick to take care of us. A Mai Tai will run you $ 13. GBDC offers a great view of the city. We spent most of our time indoors though, where the real party is at. Captain America(?) was running around blowing a whistle, scantily clad bartenders were dancing atop the bar, confetti was bursting in spurts, and a girl with a unicorn head and hooves to match walked around in stilts. There was a random tower of red bulls — I never found out if it was a promo giveaway. The DJ did a great with the music. It varied between hip hop and EDM. Transitions were smooth and he played songs long enough. What I really liked about GBDC is that it wasn’t too crowded. You could still walk around and get a drink. I like my breathing space, you know? I’ll be back for multiple return visits to GBDC. This looks like the beginning of a great relationship. ;-) Unilocal100CHALLENGE2015: #16
