I’m a karaōke JUNKIE, and I have been to ALL the place’s in Vegas, or L.A. that have that activity. This place is «HAND’S DOWN» for the best singing, or just people Watching. I have never heard as many GREAT singer’s;{some are pro’s } and some not so Great, but THEYARE having fun.; some just taking pic’s of singing on the strip in Vegas. Very Female friendly and FREE line DANCELESSON’S don’t hurt. Both the DJ in the booth and KJ know their business, and their MUSIC. Always entertaining, and very clean with good food. Many drink specials also. Gilly’s goes to extremes with a very experienced KJ, Light Man, Grammy Nominated Sound Tech. DJ and a super sound system. THEBEST!!!

We came in here for lunch while staying at TI. I admit to being disappointed — the wait staff were just regular folks. Where were all the scantily clad women they have plastered all over their pictures and web site? Anyway, service was mediocre, but I really enjoyed the food. I got the fried chicken and it came out lava hot and was really great. Took forever to check out because apparently there’s only one person working there who can run the credit cards for some reason, but eventually we were allowed to leave!

The gilleys girls are great and overall the bartenders are amazing. This review is for Wednesday night karaōke. The DJ is an awful nazi for everyone but himself. He doesn’t consider lynrd skrnrd, the band or Bonnie Rait to be country karaōke. Meanwhile he let Robin Thicke and Jay-Z pass as acceptable song choices. He is all about himself doing songs instead of people from the bar. I only gave one extra star for the service before 10. He freaking allowed his wife to sing rap instead of country that people wanted to dance to. He had no sense of what the crowd wanted. I won’t go back for karaōke that’s for sure.

Once again, a must– visit spot on Vacay. The food, service, friendliness is great. Definitely get the Mac n cheese w some pepperjack added, and have Rosanna or Elizabeth mix up a great concoction to get your day started right…

Ate there twice … ambiance in the front on the strip is nice and relaxing. The bar area in teh back is so loud I couldn’t hear each other talk without yelling so we left. The first meal was just appetizers, drinks and dessert and was okay but nothing special. Nachos are made with chips from a bag and they taste like it but dessert was good. Next meal was a half rack of ribs and was absolutely terrible … dry, crusty and over cooked meat and french fries were unseasoned and stale. Was just glad I didn’t order an entire rack … won’t try and eat there again.

Ok, so to make a long story short, I came in tonight from CES, looking for cool place entertain my clients. The food, meh, the service, ugh, just bc your half naked doesn’t give you a pass… The only redeeming 1star, the band. Kick ass. I got a picture with the female singer, she was so fantastic. Beautiful. That’s the only reason we stayed. Country National I think was their name. We’d come back for them, as far as everything else, 0 stars. It’s Las Vegas, service should be perfect.

This is a pretty big bar. looks like a country bar with the huge dance floor space(which I assume is for line dancing or regular dancing), the décor all around, the mechanical bull, and the saddles used as the barstools for the bar area. It was really uncomfortable, but whatever. The bucket of beers were cheap, so we got that. We had good conversation, but my goodness. the service sucked. First sucky moment was when we walked in; we didn’t know where to go, mainly because there was no host at the entrance. It took a few minutes for someone to show us where the bar was. The next sucky moment was when I accidently spilled my beer, haha. My boyfriend and I were quick to clean it up ourselves but the bartender gave us major attitude for«messing up his bar.» Seriously, dude? It’s not like we asked him for help. we cleaned it up ourselves. And this is Vegas, I’m sure there are drunkies that do way more worse stuff than cleaning up their own mess. What a jerk. Overall, bad service. I can get cheap beer elsewhere — so many places on the Strip! haha.

Let’s see: friendly, attentive service, big portions, solid comfort food, and a nice view of the nightlife insanity on the street as you dine. Count me in. Lots of bad to mediocre reviews on Unilocal but we had a good experience. Our server was right on top of things. At $ 19, the cowboy burger is no bargain. But it was big enough for two semi-hungry people to share and it was well-cooked and delicious. The fries were great, too. I can also strongly vouch for the kid’s chicken tenders which came with a huge vat of mac and cheese. The tenders were indeed extremely tender and they tasted terrific. Plus, the mac and cheese might have been the best thing on the table. Incidentally, the kid’s meal was big enough to satisfy your average Vegas tourist fattie but the menu specifically states that you have to be 10 years or younger to order from the kid’s menu. That’s too bad because I would have no qualms about ordering this particular meal myself. Still, the first wife and I stole early and often from my daughter’s plate. The drinks were really weak. I don’t think it’s my own personal pet peeve when I say that weak drinks suck. Everyone hates weak drinks. Overall, it was good grub and we got a lot of it. I highly doubt I would make a special trip just to eat here but I would definitely return if I was staying at Treasure Island.

During my summer 2013 internship in Las Vegas, I came here to make a bit of extra cash. Actually, I only made money one time out of the 5 to 6 visits. At the time, the toughest cowboy contest was going down on Thursday evenings at 10pm. First there was the qualifying round. Stay on the bull for ten seconds. Maybe like 8 or 9 guys would try it out, and half would be eliminated. Most of the guys making it to the final round were regular attendees, legit cowboys, or dudes who had actually ridden real life bulls. I was competing with the best. So I felt like a rockstar, totally in my zone here. For the qualifying round, the bull is just going to buck up and down in a circle aggressively. Ten seconds can fill like forever if you’ve never done this before. Keep your body loose, and go with the bull. A shot before riding can actually help. The final round is just to see who can stay on the longest. For this, it’s just going to come down to experience. Can you handle the bull bucking in a circle, changing the direction before you know it, going high, going low, the crowd roaring, feeling like a boss, going a second longer to win, the chance to feel like a cowboy? I only won once, but it was one of the most memorable parts of that summer. I had went toe-to-toe with legit cowboys. I was for one night the toughest cowboy.

Been here a few times for parties while in Vegas. While I can say I’m a huge fan of the uniforms and beer prices, watch yourself on the liquor. Prices are night club high! WHENYOUGO– Go for the beer, country music, mechanical bull and the servers. Don’t go for the authentic BBQ, the real sh*tkicker bar ambience or real cowboy/cowgirls. This is Vegas. This is also the Treasure Island Hotel-Casino. This ain’t the real Gilley’s. Lower your countrified expectations just a little, have some beers and enjoy the views.

Horrible service I went in to eat here for an all girls weekend and one of the people in our party ask for her salad first because she hadn’t eaten all day. Well they didn’t ever bring it out instead they decided to bring it with her entrée. We were told by and employee that he didn’t really care about anything we had to say about a missing salad!!! What… I have never heard of someone saying this to a customer. Wow will I never go back! The food is just okay everything seem like warm. Go some place else!!!

Definitely a fun place and easy to find directly n front of Treasure Island and across from the Venetian/Palazzo with amazing views from the restaurant side, make sure to ask for a window seat. First of all there’s a great smell of burning wood outside and a huge neon sign inside declaring«Barbeque» so I just had to stop in. So I ordered the«Brisket Steak» with boccolini and Cole slaw. The brisket was definitely a large chunk of meat and not too fatty at all. But it wasn’t really smoked and kind of tough despite making sure that I sliced it across the grain. The boccolini was very fresh and perfectly cooked, but the garlicky oil it was finished in tasted of food service quality. Cole slaw wasn’t bad, finely chopped with celery seeds and not too wet. Will, have to try the chicken, pulled pork and ribs next time, though I’m not expecting greatness, you know what I mean? 2 full service bars, the live country music band was okay and everybody seemed to be having a good time, including myself. So overall not too bad but neither great or authentic BBQ, but a good drinking hang out on the strip.

Gilleys brought out the cannibal in me, as I literally could have gnawed my own arm waiting for food. Service is painfully slow. The food is quite good. The patio/open air space is very nice!

I’ve been all over Texas and have seen a lot of country bars, and this is nothing TOO special. It’s pretty cool to have a country-type place on the Vegas strip. At night, this place is more of a dance club. There’s a cover to get in, and it’s pretty packed. Tough to see anything through all the Stetsons :) The booze is a bit cheaper here though, so if you’re looking for a dance party without the high prices this might be a place to check out. The food at the restaurant is pretty good! The chicken tortilla soup might be the best I ever had. The ribs were drier than I’d like them to be, but not too much to complain about.

Coming from someone who has been to plenty of country bars, this is nothing special. Benefits for Vegas: relatively inexpensive booze for those of you that have gambled away your life savings; mechanical bull which could be pure entertainment; line dancing for all of you that can’t dance… you probably still can’t line dance but you won’t look weird watching from the sides like at a club.

Pros: the restaurant is fairly big with a large section behind the rowdy area with line dancing, bar, and mechanical bull. The setting is pretty lively and fun with their cowboy theme environment. They also have live music which is good! The strawberry cocktail was really good! Cons: The restaurant side, however, prevents you from seeing all this cool action unfortunately. The food is very average. The buns were too spongy and the meat was too loose. The waitress also took forever with my check. Avoid the blueberry lemonade cocktail… Too watered down and not tasty. Overall: if you are in a pinch for a bite to eat, then maybe. Only if you want to dance or ride the bull then come but look elsewhere for burgers.

Enjoyed their food and service was alright. This is a spot I would only go to if I had visiting family and friends. Ordered appetizers during their lunch period, and it wasn’t busy at all. Definitely liked their sweet potato fries that’s paired with a sweet sauce, which made it taste like dessert. Also got to eat onion rings, and ribs with hush puppies, which were also yummy.

Yeehaw! Found this great little place and happy to find they had lots of things I was craving. The ambiance is fun with country music jamming in the background, some sports channels on the various TVs, and western décor throughout. The restaurant is pretty family friendly and the staff is nice too. Our server was always on top of everything and took really good care of us. As far as the food goes, I wasn’t mind blown but it was enjoyable. Between the two of us, we shared a Cowgirl combo where you can choose from 3 meats and 2 sides. The baby back ribs were delicious and so were the hot links. The half chicken seemed like it was reheated and a bit dry but still edible. My husband ordered the green chile chili but it was not good, and more soupy than chili. On the other hand, the sweet potato fries were nice and crispy. What I loved most is that it came with two dipping sauces. One was like a ketchup and the other was like roasted/melted marshmallows with a hint of cinnamon? It was delicious and great for sharing! Overall a good time. My only complaint was that the food took quite a bit to arrive and we were sat near the kitchen where you could heat a loud ringing sound once in a while(the beeping of a broiler when it’s ready? I don’t know). Still worth checking out and a great place to share your plate.

Honestly the best chili cheese fries(& tots) that exist on this planet. The cheese sauce and chili mixture is in perfect proportion to the skinny cut fries. The tots are great, but the fries are better. I also ordered the side of Mac and cheese. Great texture but I would’ve liked a more cheesy taste. Service is alright. Kind of slow. Overall this is a great place to go in vegas for some inexpensive food, specifically appetizers. The portions are also HUGE.
