I’ve been taking Mandolin lessons from Dr. Franz since May. I previously had zero experience playing a stringed instrument, and had not played any musical instrument for about 20 years.
My wife found Dr. Franz’s website, and selected her because of her experience teaching and playing the mandolin.
While I admit, I am not the easiest student, Dr. Franz has been patient with me, and pushed me as needed. I appreciate that she wants to get to know her students, and as a fan of bluegrass, she also has provided me the opportunity to play bluegrass with her and her other students. That additional practice is what is helping me become a better player.
I am happy that I’ve found Dr. Franz & Goldie’s studio as she is exactly the kind of teacher that I was hoping for when I started playing.

When I was looking for a music teacher for my kids I came across Dr. Franz. She is very personable and professional. I have found that she is a great instructor for kids and adults. our whole family has had a great time learning with her.

I learned to play the banjo from Dr. Franz. She is well versed in music from beginner to advanced and knows how to teach to each individual.
