Yes price was pretty expensive but I think the double scoop evens out the value a bit. Its very rich and dense ice cream that I found very filling. I saw in another review that someone complained about the size of the scoops but atleast for me I got pretty generous scoops. Will I be running back here? Probably not but I still consider it a favorable experience.

I had the 1870 Tower Sundae and I thought this was pretty good… a chocolate bundt cake topped with ice cream and fudge sauce. The cake was moist and the ice cream was good(I chose chocolate). This definitely satisfies any sweet tooth. While I like the quality, I’m not sure it’s worth the high price point…

Premium ice cream in the Caesar’s food court. That means you will pay dearly for it. And you do. Then you get a single scoop, about the size of a teaspoon. I rather throw $ 10 on the crap tables and lose on a single roll, then pay the same amount for a sample of ice cream. Maybe if the taste was premium, I wouldn’t complain as much.

3.5 stars: This ice cream is $ 5.99 a scoop which is pretty outrageous, but also the Dutch milk chocolate was otherworldly. So… a win if you’re already there?

I had heard of Graeter’s but never tried them before seeing their small stand in the food court at Caesars. They had 10 flavors available and they do switch them out. So it’s not always the same 10. The prices seemed high at first but you get $ 1 off if you show your TR card and upgrades from the single scoops aren’t bad. It’s $ 5.99/$ 4.99 for a single scoop, $ 7.99/$ 6.99 for a double scoop, $ 7.99/$ 6.99 for a single scoop sundae, $ 9.99/$ 8.99 for their signature sundaes. I opted for a single scoop hot fudge sundae with mint chip ice cream. The ice cream tasted great and didn’t have any artificial colors in it. There were huge chunks of chocolate, which I guess they are known for. It was not freezer burnt at all like a previous review mentioned. The hot fudge was very thick and rich. The sundae was a good size. You could def share it. I couldn’t finish mine. I would love for Graeter’s to open a full store off strip.

Uh, there are way more options for ice cream on the strip. Two scoops are $ 8! On top of that high price, our ice cream had freezer burn. I had the mint chip. My husband had a scoop of chocolate and vanilla. All three flavored had freezer burn. Very disappointing.

3.5STARS Las Vegas is a melting pot of restaurants from all over the World. Recently Graeter’s Ice Cream, a popular Cincinnati ice cream icon opened up in the renovated Caesar’s Palace food court. The company boasts that this is the first location West of the Mississippi River. The Vegas Strip is a grown up Disney Land. When I am in Disney Land I want to get ice cream. Our original intention was to stop at Ghiradelli in the Linq. Unfortunately this location falls far short on sufficient seating. So, my brother recommended Graeter’s Ice Cream in Caesar’s Palace. Graeter’s Ice Cream is incorporated in the Caesar’s Palace food court next to Starbuck’s. Because of its small size, I regard this more of a Graeter’s Express than a full scale ice cream parlor. When I researched the company online, Wikipedia showed a sundry of flavors. However, at this food court location I saw ten signature flavors on the overhead menu. They were black raspberry chocolate chip, caramel gelato, chocolate, mint chocolate chip, dark chocolate gelato, mocha chocolate chip, lemon sorbet, double chocolate chip, vanilla bean, and salted caramel. I could write that it is quantity over quality with an argument that Graeter’s specializes in a French pot method of ice cream making that is supposedly so good that they process it two gallons at a time. Just like Disney Land, prices in many of the businesses throughout the adult Disney Land are ridiculously expensive. For the price of what a couple of scoops cost here, unless your on a diet, it is worth it to go all the way for a sundae. I ordered the strawberry shortcake sundae. It was two scoops of black raspberry chocolate chip and mocha chocolate chip ice cream in substitution for vanilla covered with strawberry topping, whipped cream and a cherry served in a paper bowl. The ice cream was delicious. But why don’t they offer strawberry ice cream? It is only fitting that a strawberry shortcake sundae would go along good with strawberry or strawberry chip ice cream. Regardless, the sundae was delicious. Regarding Graeter’s, I scream that their ice cream is a delicious treat if you are in the center of the Las Vegas Strip.

I was ecstatic to hear that Cincinnati ice cream chain Graeters had quietly come to Vegas– their first location west of the Mississippi. It was a childhood staple for me, there’s nothing quite like their black raspberry chocolate chip flavor! And a scoop really hit the spot… kind of. I predict they’re going to have a rough go of it until a few changes are made. For starters, it’s in the Forum Food Court and their counter is chest-high, so you can’t see any of the ice cream flavors. How odd is that? Second, the pricing. I know, we’re on the Strip and at Caesars no less. But $ 6 for a single scoop of ice cream? And it’s not even a whole scoop, my cup was less than a third full. At least get smaller cups so it’s not as blatantly obvious how badly your customers are being ripped off. I was happy to hear these guys had made it out here, but I don’t know how long I see them lasting with this particular layout and pricing structure. During a Saturday afternoon lunch rush, they were the only counter at this food court that had NO line. I was one of two people making purchases during my half hour in the area. For now I’ll stick to Handels.
