Great Clips

This is a place I visit regularly and am usually satisfied with my haircut. I don’t request the same person whenever I go there because I want to give all employees a fair chance to see how they cut. About half of them remember me and I’m lucky to have them cut my hair the way I like it. There are a few times that a new person (to me at least) cuts my hair and gets it wrong, but I’m not very picky because I can fix it once I get home. Overall a good place to regular if you’re not very picky about your hair style.

I rarely give bad reviews but I just had the worst experience (unfortunately). First, I showed the stylist my «free shampoo» coupon from Unilocal,she informed me that wasn’t theirs. When I showed her it was her location, she told me it was corporate or another franchise and they didn’t honor online coupons. I said fine but she may want to look at having it removed from Unilocal.She made a phone call to inquire further and was informed that it is a coupon they should be honoring. Her next remark was, «well, apparently no one uses Unilocal anymore.» Ummm… I do, so that was a bit offensive to me. So, the stylist comes to was my hair, great! Yep — JUST WASHED, no conditioner. Seriously? I have medium length, curly hair so trying to comb through it with no conditioner is almost impossible. She proceeded to rip at my hair trying to comb through it. I instructed her that I needed a ½ inch trim and I have long layers. She took off almost a whole inch and just cut my hair straight across in the back (nothing like it’s shaped.) horrible! Last, I asked for a blow dry, as its 47 degrees — nope. I left with sopping wet hair. Never again.

I love this Great Clips, especially today, because my haircut is just awesome! My stylist was Katy and she did exactly what I wanted, plus she’s very personable. I waited a few minutes, but it was worth the wait!

You know… I have a very hard time giving one star reviews. I think, even in the worst circumstances, a business or service will have enough redeeming qualities to warrant at least two stars. However, this is not one of those businesses.
We walked in and immediately got a stand-​offish vibe. The lady behind the counter attempted, at first, to be polite, but quickly determined that it was just too much work, and reverted to impatience and condescension. I hadn’t even finished my question when she inturrupted.
Needless to say, we left. Won’t be back. Went to Supercuts.

Every time I come the ladies are super sweet and friendly. They are awesome at what they do and I always leave happy.

Usually go to sports clips but got tired of their high prices… Went here for the first time and immediately after signing up, I was next. The haircut was professional and quick. Excellent service for a $ 12 haircut!

I always wait for Regina! She was recommended to me and I recommend her to you. Download their check in app! If you just walk in after 5, you will have to wait longer. Just go to the internet and check in from work if you do not have a smart phone and that puts you up front in the queue. If you want to be pampered and all phoo phooed then Great Clips is not for you. If you take pride in being practical, down to earth, low maintenance, then this is perfect!

Good hair cuts quick. I arrived yesterday for my usual. A long overdue trimming. It was approximately 6:30 pm and there were no customers, which is usually a bad sign. Alexia came from the back and checked me in right away. She said that it had been real busy all day and that I had arrived at just the right moment. I believe her, this place usually has a steady stream of customers. I sat down and she asked how I wanted it. I usually wait too long between cuts so I want a lot taken off. They always try to talk you out of drastic changes. «Are you sure you want that size, how about we start with this size and work down.» Okay, okay. I relented. Then, we went to the size I wanted in the first place. She did a good job. I was pleased. She put my notes in the computer so the next stylist would know. The whole thing took 15 minutes. The fee was $ 12 (plus tip). Very reasonable. Us men prefer quick and cheap when it comes to haircuts. This place is not so different from many other barber shops, but it is close to my home so I will be coming back. Quick, cheap, good job, and close to my home. Yep, that about sums it up. Oh, I will complain about one thing: I always walk out with a ton of hair clippings on my head and shirt. I have to brush off for about 2 minutes before getting into my truck. Oh well, that’s what you get for $ 12.

Usually quick, haircuts are a bit iffy. I think a couple of their stylists are a bit rude. You get the service you pay for. For the price, see Fabian next door at the Canyon salon for a $ 5 haircut for kids. He actually did a superb job for half the price.
