Habitat For Humanity Las Vegas Restore

Absolutely ridiculous!!! We schedule appoitment 3 weeks ago, confirm pick up day before. we DEDICATE entire day for pick up, WAITING for People show up… NO show, NO one return your call, it’s a JOKE!!!

So, builders, hotels, construction companies all pool their left overs and they sell here cheap. We found Subway Tile, enough for the kitchen, cost around $ 40. Very happy.
Seeds for $.10 a pack, dressers, plumbing, bookshelves, all manner of odd stuff. Pretty organized, and the cashier is a joy!
Take your time because the stuff is set up in a manner that makes sense, but you have to look to find it. There were Veggie Tales movies under a shelf of bathroom vanity lighting. $.50 each ALL MINE!
Some of the stuff is WAY overpriced, a scratched up bathroom vanity for $ 300? They said it was new, must have been scratched during delivery. Um… I don’t CARE how it got scratched, it isn’t a $ 300 piece anymore!
Framed pics for $ 200, and they are really ugly. Personal opinion, yes, however several other people were looking and said the same.
This location is in safer spot than the old one, nice for women shopping alone. Thrift store next door, too.

Found a great table for only 300.00. They had a ton of useful items if you have a home to fix up!!!

I’ve actually scored a lot more from their other location on the Eastside, but I do come here often just to see what they have «just in case». The only time I actually bought something was a vintage Acme dressform for $ 25. Similar ones in worse condition I found on ebay and etsy for about $ 100.
Recently they have full kitchen cabinetry that looks like was taken out of model homes or other architectural salvage and sold here for dirt cheap. They also have the odd vintage tea cart or mirror here also. It pays to come often, just like a thrift shop. If you come at the right time, you can get a big score.
If you need light switches, shower grab bars, towel holders, or other random stuff that you don’t want to pay full price for at Home Depot or Lowes, come check here first.

Mixed feelings about this place: limited selection, mostly good quality, but a bit overpriced. Great selection of wholesale bath and kitchen fixtures, table tops (without legs), and cabinets, but I came for the décor items.
Several lamps, chairs, and tables available: all priced on par with a Ross or Marshalls rather than what you may typically think of for a thrift store-​type business. some tags are color coded for discounts, others are not negotiable (but should be). Staff appears to be volunteers.

I went in looking for some items to decorate my home. I found the home hardware items, and appliances seemed reasonable, but home décor was pricey.

Part thrift store, part overstock resale store, you can find things on the cheap and not so cheap (but cheaper than you’d pay elsewhere) here. Restored furniture, hardware, lighting fixtures, kitchen appliances, plumbing items, gardening stuff, and random knickknacks that may turn into your next DIY project or Pinterest idea.
Sometimes you’ll find just what you been looking for, other times, you’ll leave with nothing. Its all about the thrill of the hunt here. New stuff, used stuff, sweet deals… patience and persistence is key here. If you’re the crafty type that likes to re purpose things, its a potential gold mine waiting to be discovered!
Funds that are raised from purchases here help bring the less fortunate a few steps closer to being a homeowner. If you haven’t been here already, check HFHR out. Not only do they have daily discounts that may sweeten the deal even more, but its all for a great cause. ALOHA!!!

Will I return? Sure, with things being donated everyday, selections are always changing, and you never know what you may find!

Came here to donate some furniture. The employees were extremely friendly and helpful.

I purchased a kitchenaid dishwasher from here for $ 75. They helped me load it in my niece’s SUV and I installed it myself (thanks YouTube) and it has been working perfectly for over 3 years.
It was used in a model home, so it was like getting a new dishwasher.
I highly recommend visiting here before you stop at Lowe’s or Home Depot. It supports a fantastic cause and keeps things out of the landfill.
They also have lots of new home décor and a section of used books the kids can peruse while you are measuring sinks :)

Habitat for Humanity is an interesting store especially if you’re a DIYer doing a project on a budget. The items that H4H has in stock aren’t consistent but that’s because the store gets its products either used or from overstock items from outside distributors. Items in the store are marked down significantly from the big box hardware stores prices so there are some great values if they have what you need. Items in the store may include anything from fasteners and nails, lumber, cabinets and even lighting products.
Money raised from the products sold at H4H ReStore go to help the less fortunate achieve homeownership through the Habitat for Humanity program.

As frugal homeowners, we try not to spend all of our money for home improvement projects at the home improvement warehouses. We also like to reuse materials when we can. That is where the Restore comes in. It is both a thrift store for items donated to Habitat for Humanity by individuals, as well as a place where Habitat for Humanity can sell items used on builds that are leftover or items that have been donated in large quantities.
Unlike other hardware stores, you do not always know what they will have in stock. You also need to make sure you know your exact measurements as they do not do returns.
The store is pretty large, and they have items from gently used furniture, to brand new toilets and sinks. They also have gardening supplies and will occasionally have used tools.
Today was a 50% off sale, and we were able to get some items that were new at costs less than ¼ what we would pay elsewhere ($.25 paintbrushes anyone?)
The Restore is a great place to find home improvement supplies while supporting a good cause. There is also a location on the east side of LV off of Flamingo & Pecos.
