Was feeling lousy and decided a warm cuppa was in order. This was the bright spot in my miserable morning. Rob greeted me behind the counter and made me feel welcomed, despite my yoga pants and hoodie. It was my first time here, even though I’ve lived in Arlington Ranch for 2+ years. Why hadn’t I discovered this little gem sooner?! The café is large, but warm. Plenty of seating which is important. They had a variety of muffins, pastries and breads, as well as hot breakfast sandwiches. I ordered a Mocha and a custard pastry. Both were excellent! Coffee didn’t have the icky burnt taste typical of that big chain. :) I don’t do coffee out often, but this will be my new go-to place. I love that they also have a drive through for those hectic mornings.

Came here this morning on my day off: good to know they haven’t done anything about the speed of their service or the quality! It’s just almost not worth it. They had two cars waiting for their coffee IN the drive thru so they can’t even take more orders. That is just ridiculous. And they’re not even that friendly nor helpful when it comes to drink/food suggestions! They clearly favor regulars. Which won’t be me.

Holley, you make delicious lattes. The hubby and I loved our drinks(iced vanilla latte and iced chai tea latte with almond milk), but why you gotta be slightly more expensive than other speciality coffee shops? For two 16 oz lattes, we spent $ 10 and some change — quite high if you ask me. We walk in and the shop is clean, warm, and comfortable. However, the baristas were not that warm and friendly. They didn’t even ask us if we’ve been in before so I guess that’s when we started feeling out of place. Once we got our drinks, we scurried away to our cars and left.

I like supporting local businesses so I do go here quite often. Its a cute coffee shop and it feels super cozy. The downside is when they serve hot coffee its never hot enough and it gets cold pretty quickly. Ive had to go back a couple of times because my hot coffee was cold. Also, the coffee shop is pretty dusty and dirty most of the time. The mexican spice flavor is delicious added to coffee(my fave). I also like that they have almond milk as a milk substitute!

Well this was our first visit here. Decided to try it because I liked the owners story. First impression when we walked it… It’s messy. We decided to order their«100%» fruit smoothie. We sat down and listened to the employees yell back and forth to each other. Very unprofessional. Our smoothies were finally done. And well the best thing I can compare these smoothies’ to is the McDonald’s smoothies… Not a 100% real fruit smoothies. The employees are planning out their evenings while one of them left the front door open when it’s 36 degrees outside. Well we tried it but won’t be back.

We live right by this place and on Sunday we walked down with my dog in tow. Coffee was tasty, prices were reasonable, baristas were nice & they were dog friendly! We will def be back to try more menu items and the coffee cakes! :)

Let me start by saying… This place is alright. The coffee is alright. The food is alright. The people are just alright. Nothing is really all that great. The only thing that is great is the convenient location of this coffee shop. Which is why is still go here when I am lazy… The first time I came here I loved the ham and cheese croissant. Well I loved the croissant. The ham seems kinda cheap, thick and pre packaged which made me sick to my stomach. The second time around The chicken salad sandwich was way too watery. The staff has absolutely no personality. Basically you get that«awe man another customer» look when you walk in. They are all young except for one. The seating situation sucks and is uncomfortable. The cold coffees taste better than the hot ones… Good luck!!!

I love this little non-chain coffee shop. The employees are awesome, the drinks and breakfast items are always so good! The ONLY negative is that there is almost always a wait, but it’s worth it!

Holley’s Cuppa is the coffee house serving Mountains Edge and State Route 160 commuters. I am amazed that with the heavy traffic on State Route 160 between Interstate 15 and as far west as Pahrump that there is a scarcity of coffee shops. I am even more amazed that two of them: Beanz and Dunkin Donuts folded. Two times in the past couple of months when I was in the vicinity of Route 160 in Mountains Edge, I visited Holley’s Cuppa. Holley’s Cuppa is located in a small shopping center at the southwest corner of State Route 160 at Durango Drive. Due to the fact that the back of the building faces the highway, it is easy to pass by Holley’s Cuppa. A few years ago, Holley’s Coffee was a Dunkin Donuts. Today, the coffee house has a similar layout with the drive thru. When you walk into Holley’s Coffee you can tell you are not in Dunkin Donuts or any chain. The vibe is of a mom and pop coffee shop near a university. There is a variety of seating including sofas, tables, and stools. There is a bookcase or two. The inside is not as cool as Grouchy John’s, Mad House, Perk Up Coffee, and the late and dearly missed Galaxy Café. It is still cool. The coolest part of the interior is what looks like a small children’s room toward the back and to the left of the counter. It looks like there is a wall where you can write with chalk. That’s enough about cool. Now I will review hot stuff. And that is the caffeine beverages I ordered. The first time back in August, I ordered a white mocha late. It was good but not darn good. The second time, yesterday I ordered a small drip with pumpkin spice syrup. Just like the vanilla late, it was good. Now that I am talking about hot, the prices aren’t so hot. The small with pumpkin spice syrup was nearly $ 3 which is about par with Grouchy John’s but around 30 cents more than Starbuck’s and $ 1 more than Mad House. The prices are worth supporting a coffee house in the area. The employees are personable. When I went here before Exploration Park, the woman who took my late order was saying that Daniel is a cool name. I like it when employees interact with customers. Yesterday, another people person took my order. The time to serve the drip with syrup was on the slow side at the same time that the employees that engage in conversation with their customers were involved in their own conversation. For a couple of minutes, I thought that she mistook the coffee for a pumpkin spice late. In general, the employees are people friendly and run a clean and organized coffee house. When I drive down Route 160, I don’t see a Dunkin Donuts, Coffee Bean, or Starbuck’s Coming Soon sign. Being Vegas that can change faster than a casino changes ownership. The lack of «Coming soon» signs along State Route 160 is a sign that I might return to Holley’s Cuppa in the future when I am passing through the area.

Coffee: 5 stars. Legit. Tried the Zoom on drip; prepped/Brewed freshly by hand for each individual order and served just right. Honestly needed very little sugar and cream for this serial sweet coffee drinker. Robust and a kick in the ass. Delish. Bagel: 4 stars. Price was right on, got a large drip with everything bagel and cream cheese for $ 5. Can’t beat it. The cream cheese is nothing special, no homemade or artisan choices, but was still quite a delicious start to my day. Location: 4 stars. Adorable and local, so it beats Starbucks down Durango any day. Much better coffee, too. The shop has plenty of seating, books to borrow, and a little nook full of kids playing w chalk board walls. Honestly some minor investment into décor or local contribution in art/reno could make it a gem, but no real qualms, just not the best I’ve EVER seen. Also important, it has a DRIVETHRU. I searched the other day and didn’t choose this place bc I had just woken up and couldn’t bring myself to throw on a bra for coffee… Service is great and I’ll be a major return customer. Didn’t try any other pastries, but the crumb cakes looked particularly delicious and the menu showed a big list of breakfast sandwiches. Give it a try!

Holley’s Cuppa is a great little gem hidden in the valley of Mountains Edge Las Vegas! I’m the type of person that needs my coffee fresh and this is a perfect joint! They brew their coffee in the pour-over method one cup at a time so it’s as fresh as possible. I can definitely taste the difference, its just another reason for me not to go to Starbucks. Also, they have a full assortment of coffee drinks, teas, smoothies, sandwiches, wraps, and pastries. When I’m done working out from the gym I need to something to fill my stomach and lately croissant sandwiches have been my craving. I’m glad they have a variety of them that taste great. Favorite coffee: The Mexican: Creamy, sweet coffee has a nutty flavor with a hint of milk chocolate and brown sugar. Cuppa City Roast — Sweet Vanilla with nut flavor and warm spices. The ambiance the place has is very warm and comforting, its very wide open spaced, filled with pop art paintings and music playing from the radio. I never felt a sense of rush, when I come in and I want to take my time. The staff is what I believe makes this place standout, a bunch of wonderful people that provide great service. Kudos to you Holley’s Cuppa, I’m so glad I found you.

I was sure I’d written a review here… I’ve been coming on and off since last summer, so forgive my delay! I discovered this place through a friend who’s friends with Holley. Many thanks for his suggestion. «Real friends don’t let friends drink Starbucks!» Come here for some fine coffee(the iced soy mocha is divine) and pastry treats. Or go for a breakfast sandwich and iced white mocha(which my mum loves). Lounge away some hours in a chair. Bring your own to read or one to exchange in their library. Bring your well-behaved progeny, and I’ll admire your good parents skills. Or, take the occasional lazy day. Leave yo’ hair undid and sport the drive-thru. It’ll still taste right as rain. One day, I’ll be rich enough to buy some of the badass local art. Until then, I give you my thanks and look forward to my next visit! I leave town often for work, but yours is the only coffee shop I enjoy in Vegas anymore when I return!

I’m giving this place 5 stars simply because it’s cool, different, and staff rocks! You will either love or hate the coffee but I personally think its a refreshing change– up from Starbucks. It is a small neighborhood locally owned coffee joint that has a homey vibe and great music. I love how they have a book corner, kids nook with toys, puzzles, and chalkboard to keep the patrons lounging happily. Cute cute. Love it here!

Came here right before heading to work because I wanted to try something new that didn’t involve Starbucks coffee. I’d always see this place when I passed by the area and today I thought«why not try something new?» And I ended buying their iced chai latte and let me tell you, it was the a good choice. Right when I walked into their shop, I was amazed at how artwork was all on the walls, it made the whole store have a nice ambience. There’s also a cute little area for the kids to play it and a chalkboard wall(usually my favorite area). The place was a lot bigger than I expected. The baristas were nice and attentive as well. I’m definitely coming back to this place everyday before work!

No idea at all of what coffee is and for all of the 5stars that other Unilocalers give to this place you really need to try other places WTF seriously!!! Anyway that was my first and last time here. Again, WtF Marco.

Their hours are pretty terrible for a coffee shop but it is a nice place to come and wait for your dog to finish getting groomed over at barking dogs! I spent a couple of hours here waiting on my pup. I did some hand lettering and enjoyed an Americano. They have some outdoor seating and a drive thru if you’re strapped for time.

I went in here 3 – 4 times. They have nice décor & they have board games & comfortable seating. The doorknobs say hi before you enter so that’s nice. The third time when I went w/my good friend Mercedes, we both felt the same about the place… Not our cup of tea. The smoothies were ok. I tried my kids when they ordered some. The food wasn’t all that either. Nothing to brag about. I ordered that chai tea latte. That was good. I’ve also had a coffee another visit. It’s close to my house & have organic coffee but I just didn’t like the vibe we got. I can always get organic coffee & make it myself at home. The people there don’t seem very inviting. I love employees at Starbucks on Southern Highlands. They have really good customer service. They know me & my man’s names & drinks. They always greet people as they enter. I love that. I love good people, good businesses. That’s what keeps people coming back. I always make sure I leave a good tip because I know how it is. It’s all about karma. What you give out, comes back around. I don’t even need to come in to Starbucks because I can make my own organic drinks at home in the morning but I only come in there because they’re so welcoming & I want to pay it forward everyday. Well I gave this place Holley’s Cuppa 3 – 4 tries. It’s all good! Maybe it might be better for someone else.

Came here after getting a recommendation from my hairstylist. She raved about the coconut sweet bread and breakfast sandwiches, so off we went. Walked in and laughed a little at the door handles, they spell HI in big, white letters. We walk in and take in the surroundings since two people were in front of us in line. The space is large, sporadically decorated with random green doors mounted on the back wall, signed Cirque du Soleil posters, a mismatched wall of art pieces and an overall unkempt atmosphere. The walls are a light orange and the tile is dark, with plenty of wooden chairs and tables. It doesn’t feel as if a lot of thought was put into the décor, but maybe it’s just because we would have done it differently ourselves. Reading other review echoes the lack of decorative eye needed in this coffee shop, but perhaps the effort was emphasized in the product, not so much the environment. We ordered a 24 oz Iced Vanilla Latte and 24 oz Iced Caramel Latte(though both tasted the same to us), a turkey swiss croissant, and a loaf of coconut sweet bread. The brunette girl assisting was helpful enough, but forgot the sweet bread we ordered(and forgot to charge us, as well). We reminded her after all but that was prepared, and so we went up and asked where it was and she just gave it to us. The turkey croissant looked easy to make– and it was delicious– wish we could’ve eaten more of those. The coconut bread was moist and full of flavor, and was a healthy portion. Definitely a good recommendation. We weren’t impressed with the two barista(s) socializing with what appeared to be a few of their friends at the counter, but there was only two other groups(including us) and our service wasn’t affected by it, save for the bread. I can see how other customers who reviewed this space would have an issue with the employees constantly talking(and especially in front of them dining) with their friends, but it seems to be the norm and to be working for them, and nothing is really being done about it. We will be back– hopefully our next visit is an upgrade from this time, as I feel there is room for improvement. One star left to earn.

I made Holley’s Cuppa my cycling destination today and I will have to visit again because I didn’t order any coffee! I got a hot chocolate(because I was sort of chilled after 26 miles in the cold afternoon) and a piece of the vanilla almond cake for sustenance, for which I NEED to find a recipe and/or create a recipe because it is that good! My hot chocolate was quite good with lots of foam. Holley’s offers almost 10 different kinds of coffee beans, all of which are certified Fair Trade beans. In the back of the shop, there is a large bookshelf full of books just waiting to be scoured. There is plenty of space for small groups, such as book clubs. I hear that the place hosts open mic nights? That sounds fun. Décor is «shabby chic,» with emphasis on shabby. Walls are adorned with different Cirque de Soleil posters signed by cast members, which makes sense, as the owner-operator regularly performs in «Le Rêve.»(How she manages to perform AND manage a coffee shop is pretty darn impressive, in my opinion!) Service was really friendly and sweet. Review will be updated after trying out the coffee. For now, Holley’s is A-OK with me.
